I think Erik was too hard on himself. Trying to figure out who was going to play and who wasn't over the last 6 to 8 weeks was a nightmare.

Well, I don't think I managed my team well in the last six or seven weeks. I thought I had a large enough lead in points to hang on, but I underestimated how much Def Fresh Flow could close the gap after six of my 20+ ppg scorers went down for long stretches, all at the same time: Tyler Herro, Karl Anthony Towns, Jerami Grant, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Ingram. I miscalculated by focusing on FG%, which I lost anyway, and then DFF passed me in points in the final week with players like Jake LaRavia, whom I could have picked up but didn't because of his low FG%. He scored 160 points in 9 games for DFF, while I had low-volume shooters like Okoro scoring 47 points in 7 games. And I misread teams' intentions. Portland, for example, listed Grant as day-to-day for the final 5 weeks of the season, yet he never came back. I needed to drop players like him, Vince Williams (0 games after March 8) and Tyus Jones (who missed the final month) sooner. So I think Chris basically outmanaged me. Congrats to DFF on its first title.
