F Draymond Green was arrested on assault charges in East Lansing, Mich., over the weekend. Green, 26, was arrested at 2:28 a.m. ET Sunday and is scheduled for arraignment on July 20, according to a court document. "We are aware of news involving Draymond Green in Michigan over the weekend," the Warriors said in a statement. "At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation." Police told ESPN that Green was arrested at an East Lansing restaurant, Conrad's Grill, and that the victim was a man. "It was basically an altercation between two guys," police said. "There's no injuries. He was released with a $200 bond on Sunday." The maximum penalty Green could face if found guilty of the assault charge is a $500 fine and/or 90 days in jail. Green, a member of Team USA for the Rio Olympics this summer, played four seasons for Michigan State under coach Tom Izzo. Green is scheduled to attend Team USA's camp in Las Vegas July 18-21. Green averaged 14.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists in 2015-16, his fourth NBA season. He started 23 games in the Golden State Warriors' playoff run to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in seven games.
