Mon Feb 1907:30Stephen Curry Just Misses A Double-Double In All-Star GameStephen CurryPGWarriorsFree Agent
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry finished only two assists shy of a double-double in Sunday's All-Star Game. The former MVP added 16 points to his eight assists, shooting 6-for-17 from the field. Nearly all of Curry's attempts came from downtown as the stars went berserk with three-point shooting and combined for 168 attempts from deep. The man with the most three-point makes ever in the NBA finished a 4-for-13 record from behind the arc. Curry has been on a scoring tear lately and appears to be gearing up for a big finish to the season. He's just set a new record with four consecutive games with at least seven makes from downtown, and the Warriors desperately need more big numbers from him to remain in contention for a playoff spot.

Sun Feb 1821:22Clippers Expected To Re-Sign James Harden, Paul George In OffseasonJames HardenSGThunderFree Agent
Paul GeorgeSGPacersTeam Lorin
Los Angeles Clippers guards James Harden and Paul George are both looking for a new contract this coming summer and it seems that the team will be doing their best to keep them around. According to Howard Beck of The Ringer, after the Clippers invested $2 billion into a new arena, they'll be trying to keep around their core regardless of their postseason success this year. Harden and George play a huge part in keeping the Clippers relevant, and they already signed Kawhi Leonard to a new contract as well. So, while other superstars are expected to test the market, the Clippers should look pretty similar to how the roster has shaken out so far.

Wed Feb 1418:23Bojan Bogdanovic Won't Play On WednesdayBojan BogdanovicSFNJ NetsFree Agent
New York Knicks forward Bojan Bogdanovic (calf) won't play on Wednesday night versus Orlando. The veteran sharpshooter is out because of an ailing calf, an injury that he's dealt with throughout the 2023-24 campaign. Unfortunately, the Knicks also won't have Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) and Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles), so the team will be even more shorthanded than usual. Without question, Jalen Brunson will nearly monopolize the chances on the offensive end. But guys like Alec Burks and Josh Hart should be locks for all fantasy lineups on Wednesday evening.

Wed Feb 1415:20Kristaps Porzingis Off Injury Report, Al Horford OutAl HorfordCHawksFree Agent
Kristaps PorzingisFree Agent
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (back) is off the team's injury report ahead of Wednesday's contest versus the Brooklyn Nets. A lower back contusion forced Porzingis from Sunday's win over the Miami Heat late, and he missed Tuesday's victory over the Brooklyn Nets, but he'll be available for Boston's final game before the All-Star break. The Celtics will hold out Al Horford (toe) due to a sprained left big toe, but he and Porzingis have alternated appearances on back to-back sets all year long. The Latvian All-Star has been a second-round fantasy value in nine-category leagues during his debut season in Beantown, banking 20.4 points on 52.9% shooting from the field, 7.0 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, and 1.8 threes per game. Make sure Porzingis is in all season-long lineups despite a tough matchup against a Nets squad that ranks ninth in opponent field-goal percentage (46.9%).

Tue Feb 1321:48Tobias Harris Will Be Absent Versus MiamiTobias HarrisSFBucksFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (hip) is out again on Wednesday against Miami. Harris is battling a left hip issue and sat out on Monday night versus Cleveland. Kenyon Martin Jr. took his spot in the starting lineup, logging 10 points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes of work. Cameron Payne also stayed involved in that one, scoring 15 points from off the bench. However, Tyrese Maxey, Buddy Hield, and Kelly Oubre Jr. will remain the safest options for fantasy managers on Wednesday, although Payne and Martin have a place in starting lineups in deeper fantasy leagues.

Mon Feb 1216:30Heat Won’t Have Jimmy Butler Until After All-Star BreakJimmy ButlerSFBullsFree Agent
The Miami Heat will be without forward Jimmy Butler (personal) for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks as well as Wednesday's contest against the Philadelphia 76ers, ruling him out through the All-Star break. The Heat granted Butler a leave of absence on Sunday to mourn the loss of a family member, and the All-Star forward's next chance to return to the floor comes on Feb. 23 against the New Orleans Pelicans. The controls to Miami's offense will be left to Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo, with the likes of Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. soaking up extra minutes in Butler's stead. Although Jaquez is averaging only 7.4 points on 35.6% shooting from the floor, 3.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.0 threes over eight games since returning on Jan. 27 from a five-game absence with a groin strain, he carries the highest fantasy upside of the bunch and is worth adding in most leagues.

Sun Feb 1113:22Jimmy Butler Now Out On Sunday AfternoonJimmy ButlerSFBullsFree Agent
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (personal) won't play on Sunday afternoon versus Boston. He was listed as questionable as of Saturday evening. However, the team allowed him time away to deal with the death of a family member. Miami has a back-to-back left on the schedule heading into the All-Star break. While nothing has been confirmed, it's possible Butler won't be back until the February 23 clash with the New Orleans Pelicans. Nonetheless, Jaime Jaquez Jr. could find his way back into the starting lineup against the C's, giving him a higher-than-usual fantasy ceiling. Of course, Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, and Terry Rozier are the favorites to do most of the heavy lifting offensively until Butler is back in the equation.

Sun Feb 1101:46Bojan Bogdanovic Scores 11 Points For New TeamBojan BogdanovicSFNJ NetsFree Agent
New York Knicks forward Bojan Bogdanovic had 11 points in 33 minutes in Saturday's loss to Indiana. He added three boards, one assist, and one steal. The veteran sharpshooter, who was dealt by the Pistons on Thursday, made his first appearance as a Knick. While he struggled shooting the ball, going 3-for-10 from the field and 2-for-6 from downtown, fantasy managers were thrilled to get him back in the lineup. At any rate, it will be tough for Bogdanovic to receive the same amount of work once Julius Randle (shoulder), OG Anunoby (elbow), and Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles) return. Yet, he'll still have a place in the rotation, keeping him relevant for fantasy managers in most formats.

Sun Feb 1101:18Alec Burks Scores 22 Points In Knicks DebutAlec BurksSGJazzFree Agent
New York Knicks guard Alec Burks debuted with his new team on Saturday versus the Indiana Pacers. The former Piston came off the bench in this one. Although Jalen Brunson was unequivocally the game's top producer, Burks scored 22 points in just 22 minutes. The Knicks moved on from Immanuel Quickley and Quentin Grimes, so a stable ball handler to support Brunson was desperately a need for New York. Without question, there's a spot for Burks in the rotation. However, fantasy managers shouldn't expect this type of production, at least not consistently, moving forward.

Sun Feb 1100:47Jimmy Butler Questionable On Sunday AfternoonJimmy ButlerSFBullsFree Agent
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler is questionable for Sunday's game against Boston. The veteran is tending to a personal matter, so there's a chance he won't be out there for the matinee versus the Celtics. Fortunately, he's not injured, which has been an issue this year. But if Butler doesn't suit up, Tyler Herro, Terry Rozier, and Bam Adebayo should see a bump in scoring opportunities. Also, Jaime Jaquez Jr., averaging 15.6 points in 15 starts during the 2023-24 campaign, could take Butler's place in the lineup if he's unavailable.

Sat Feb 1018:43Alec Burks To Make Knicks Debut On SaturdayAlec BurksSGJazzFree Agent
New York Knicks guard Alec Burks will play on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers. It will be the veteran's first game with the Knicks, and it comes after he averaged 12.6 points in 43 games with the Pistons this season. Burks probably won't be a consistent fantasy contributor. However, with Jalen Brunson (ankle) questionable and OG Anunoby (elbow), Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles), and Julius Randle (shoulder) out, Burks could be more productive for fantasy managers right out of the gate.

Sat Feb 1018:34Bojan Bogdanovic Will Play Against The PacersBojan BogdanovicSFNJ NetsFree Agent
New York Knicks forward Bojan Bogdanovic will play on Saturday night versus the Indiana Pacers. The veteran was traded from Detroit ahead of the deadline. In 28 games with the Pistons this season, he averaged 20.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and shot an impressive 41.5% from behind the arc. Bogdanovic could need a few games to adjust to how things operate in New York. However, with Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles), Julius Randle (shoulder), and OG Anunoby (elbow) out, Bogdanovic may be thrown into the deep end immediately, giving him a higher ceiling than anticipated in his first game with the Knicks. His outlook will be even brighter if Jalen Brunson (ankle) misses another game.

Thu Feb 815:15Alec Burks Headed Back To KnicksAlec BurksSGJazzFree Agent
Detroit Pistons guard/forward Alec Burks is heading back to the New York Knicks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Burks and Bojan Bogdanovic are being sent to New York in return for Evan Fournier, Quentin Grimes, Malachi Flynn, and two second-round picks. Burks played two seasons with the Knicks prior to this deal in 2020-21 and 2021-22. He joined the Pistons via trade and is now right back where he started. Over the last season and a half with Detroit, Burks averaged 12.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.1 made threes, and 1.0 turnovers per game. He's not an automatic addition in fantasy leagues right now because the Knicks have a few forwards and guards ahead of him. He could become a solid streaming option, though, while some of their key players are hurt.

Thu Feb 814:55Bojan Bogdanovic Traded To KnicksBojan BogdanovicSFNJ NetsFree Agent
Detroit Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanovic is officially on the move after Adrian Wojnarowski reported that he's being traded to the New York Knicks on Thursday ahead of the trade deadline. The veteran forward, along with Alec Burks, is going to New York in exchange for Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn, and two second-round picks. Bogdanovic brings some much-needed shooting to the Knicks lineup and provides more offensive firepower in general. Especially with Julius Randle (shoulder) still on the mend, Bogdanovic should see some big minutes at the start of his tenure with the team. In his one-and-a-half seasons with the Pistons, Bogdanovic averaged 21.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.7 made threes, and 2.3 turnovers per game.

Thu Feb 814:27Marcus Morris Sr., Furkan Korkmaz Traded To PacersMarcus MorrisPFRocketsFree Agent
Furkan KorkmazFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forwards Marcus Morris Sr. and Furkan Korkmaz have been dealt to the Indiana Pacers in a money-saving type of move. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pacers traded away Buddy Hield for Morris, Korkmaz, and three second-round picks because they were unable to keep Hield and Obi Toppin while staying under the cap limit. It's unclear how prominent of a role Morris and Korkmaz will play, but it seems that Morris won't be receiving the same amount of minutes as he did in Philadelphia. Neither one of them are instant adds after joining their new team, so fantasy managers can take a wait-and-see type of approach to find out where they'll fall in the rotation.

Sun Feb 421:51Tobias Harris Could Miss Another GameTobias HarrisSFBucksFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (illness) is questionable for Monday against the visiting Mavericks. Harris wasn't available for Saturday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets. As a result, Kelly Oubre Jr. picked up most of the slack, scoring 16 points behind Tyrese Maxey's 23. Harris has played well this season, averaging 17.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals. Those numbers figure to rise, with the Sixers announcing that Joel Embiid (knee) will undergo a procedure in the coming days. That said, if Harris remains out on Monday night, Maxey and Oubre should absorb most of the scoring opportunities. Additionally, Kenyon Martin Jr., Danuel House Jr., and Marcus Morris Sr. are worth streaming for those who are desperate.

Sat Feb 314:11Tobias Harris Still Questionable On SaturdayTobias HarrisSFBucksFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (illness) is questionable for Saturday's game against Brooklyn. The veteran is coming off a strong performance, amassing 28 points, seven assists, and five boards in the narrow win over the Utah Jazz on Thursday. Unfortunately, he's now battling an illness. With Joel Embiid (knee) out of commission, Tyrese Maxey, who had 51 points against the Jazz, would be a lock for all fantasy lineups if Harris doesn't suit up. Additionally, Kelly Oubre Jr. would likely see an uptick on the scoring end.

Sat Feb 310:04Marcus Morris Sr. Iffy For SaturdayMarcus MorrisPFRocketsFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forward/center Marcus Morris Sr. (foot) is listed as questionable for Saturday's clash with Brooklyn. The veteran could be out for a third game in a row due to left foot pain. Morris Sr. has recently played a much bigger role in Philadelphia's plans due to Joel Embiid's (knee) injury troubles. He will have his next chance to return on Monday versus Dallas if he can't play on Saturday. Mo Bamba and Kenyon Martin Jr. have been the main frontcourt backups with Morris Sr. out. They haven't been very effective players from a fantasy perspective.

Tue Jan 3015:13Celtics Rule Out Al Horford TuesdayAl HorfordCHawksFree Agent
The Boston Celtics have ruled out center Al Horford (neck) for Tuesday's matchup versus the Indiana Pacers. A sprained left neck will cost Horford the second night of Boston's back-to-back set and the third game of their current seven-game homestand. With Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) questionable and Luke Kornet (hamstring) doubtful on Tuesday against the Pacers, a spot start at center and massive workload could be in store for Neemias Queta.

Mon Jan 2921:28Tobias Harris Will Play On MondayTobias HarrisSFBucksFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (illness) will suit up for Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Harris missed their last game but was tagged as questionable heading into this contest. He mentioned earlier in the day that he intended on suiting up for Monday's game. Harris will be asked to take on a big role with both Joel Embiid (knee) and Tyrese Maxey (ankle) both sidelined. Fantasy managers in season-long formats should make sure to get Harris back in their lineups. Harris looks to be a popular DFS option for Monday's slate.
