Sat Jul 5 201419:25Steven Adams is fine from shin issue
Steven Adams returned from a shin contusion on Saturday, finishing with seven points, two boards and two blocks.
He started the second half and is fine. Adams will need to add more to his game outside of just being a great rebounder, but that's a great skill to have with Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant taking so many shots. Adams isn't worth drafting in most leagues.

Sat Jul 5 201417:54Steven Adams suffers shin contusion
Steven Adams suffered a right shin contusion on Saturday.
He is questionable to return and the injury is not considered serious. Kendrick Perkins is likely going to still be around next season, so Adams won't be unleashed in the paint. Mitch McGary may also get some run at center.

Mon Jun 2 201413:37Steven Adams to play in summer league
Steven Adams will play in summer league in July and will not play for the New Zealand national team.
"Hell yeah," Adams said when asked if he was playing in Orlando. His playing time went up to 22.7 minutes per game vs. the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals and figures to be a bigger part of the team next season. Still, he's not on the radar as a pick in standard fantasy leagues.

Fri Apr 4 201400:14Steven Adams moved back to the bench
Steven Adams moved back to the bench against the Spurs on Thursday, finishing with five points, five boards and one steal.
Kendrick Perkins (groin) was back tonight, but Adams didn't really do much in the starting lineup. There was a lot of buzz about Adams in the preseason due to his impressive rebounding, but his lack of an offensive game will keep him off the radar in standard leagues for the next couple years.

Tue Mar 25 201401:27Adams out of nowhere for a career-high 6 stls
Steven Adams came out of nowhere for a career-high six steals in Monday's blowout win, and also added 10 points, six boards and one assist in 23 minutes.
The steals number is fluky and the Nuggets are scheduling vacations right about now so we're not moving the needle on his value. Only in the deepest of leagues should he be given fantasy consideration.

Fri Mar 7 201400:05Steven Adams invisible in loss to Suns
Steven Adams played 11 minutes and had one rebound, two fouls and nothing else in Thursday's start against the Suns.
Alex Len, who started for the Suns wasn't much better, and it appears the Thunder may just roll without a center from here on in. The Thunder didn't even bother to bring Hasheem Thabeet off the bench and while Adams will likely continue to start, he hasn't done enough of anything that tells us you should continue to hang onto him.

Sun Mar 2 201422:12Steven Adams struggles w/ fouls vs. Bobcats
Steven Adams had four points, six rebounds and one block in another start on Sunday, but he picked up four quick fouls vs. Al Jefferson and only logged 19 minutes.
Adams is now averaging 23.0 minutes over the past three games, and he should be on all fantasy owners' radars with Kendrick Perkins (groin surgery) out for as many as six weeks. He's prone to turnovers and isn't much of an offensive option, but he's averaging 1.0 blocks as a starter and ranks third in the NBA in offensive rebound rate, trailing only Reggie Evans and Andre Drummond.

Fri Feb 28 201423:04Adams plays through illness in Thunder win
Steven Adams played through his illness in the Thunder's 113-107 win over the Grizzlies on Friday, scoring seven points on 1-of-3 shooting (5-of-7 FTs) with five rebounds and two blocks in 25 minutes.
Owners that are desperate for a big man should simply watch his progress. He's likely to improve as he gets acclimated with the first unit and he could end up being a low-end play if all goes well.

Fri Feb 28 201419:38Steven Adams (flu) to start on Friday vs. MEM
Steven Adams (flu-like symptoms) will play on Friday against the Grizzlies.
Adams has a chance to prove himself and develop while Kendrick Perkins is out, but so far he hasn't been able to accumulate any fantasy value. The Thunder will have an interesting choice to make in the playoffs between Adams and Perkins if the rookie plays well in the next two months.

Fri Feb 28 201418:34Steven Adams dealing with illness for Friday
Steven Adams is dealing with flu-like symptoms and is questionable for Friday's game.
The Thunder are already without of Kendrick Perkins and would start Hasheem Thabeet should Adams not sit this one out. Even though it's against his former team, we hope you don't need us to tell you Thabeet is not a fantasy option vs. the tough Grizzlies frontcourt.

Thu Feb 27 201400:08Steven Adams goes for 4 & 4 in 25 minutes
Steven Adams started again and played 25 minutes, finishing with four points, four rebounds, a steal and a block in Wednesday's loss.
Kendrick Perkins will miss six weeks so Adams should start until further notice. He's obviously not worth using at this point, but he could figure it out and get hot at any time. Keep a close eye on him.

Sun Feb 23 201416:01Steven Adams doesn't do much in start
Steven Adams played 16 minutes in Sunday's start against the Clippers with one point, six boards and one block in 16 minutes.
He's still extremely raw on offense and there's really no way the Thunder would run plays for him with the other options on the team. While Adams was a beast in the preseason, he's shaping up to be a Reggie Evans-type role player who can bang in the paint. He can remain on the wire in most leagues. Kendrick Perkins (groin) could miss a few games, so Adams will likely get more starts.

Sun Feb 23 201411:20Steve Adams will start on Sunday vs. Clippers
As expected, Steve Adams will start in place of Kendrick Perkins (groin) in Sunday's game vs. the Clippers.
Adams could make for a nice spot start on Sunday for owners seeking some rebounds and blocks, just don't drop any reliable guys as he's likely headed back to the bench upon Perkins return.

Sat Feb 22 201413:21Steven Adams to get start for Thunder
With Kendrick Perkins ruled out Sunday with a groin injury, Steven Adams is expected to start at center for the Thunder.
Adams will be worth a look as a spot starter in daily leagues, and should get a nice opportunity to audition for a full-time starting job in OKC.

Sun Jan 5 201418:33Steven Adams is available to play Sunday
Steven Adams is available to play against the Celtics on Sunday.
Following Saturday's game, he said on Twitter his ankle sprain was "just a flesh wound" and he didn't expect to miss time. Adams hasn't quite met expectations following a very impressive preseason, so he can remain on the wire in most leagues.

Sat Jan 4 201422:03Steven Adams tweaks an ankle
Steven Adams tweaked his ankle in the second half of Saturday's game and went to the locker room.
It didn't look too bad and he was able to make it back to the locker room under his own power. Adams was having a great game with 10 points, nine boards and two blocks before going down.

Sat Dec 14 201301:47Steven Adams plays 15 minutes in win
Steven Adams played 15 minutes off the bench on Friday with one point, five boards, one assist, one steal and one block against the Lakers.
He was questionable for the game with an ankle sprain which was suffered Wednesday. Adams isn't getting consistent minutes and isn't worth owning in most leagues right now.

Fri Dec 13 201318:33Steven Adams is available to play
Steven Adams (ankle) is available to play against the Lakers on Friday.
His minutes have been trending down and the Thunder have gone to Kendrick Perkins more to begin and start games. Adams might emerge as an asset at some point for his ability to rebound, but he has very little value right now.

Fri Dec 13 201313:21Steve Adams to be game-time decision on Fri
Steve Adams (sprained ankle) will be a game-time decision on Friday vs. the Lakers.
Steve Adams doesn't have much appeal outside of deep leagues. Expect Kendrick Perkins and Nick Collison to pickup the additional minutes if Adams is unable to go. We should have official word closer to tip-off.

Thu Dec 12 201315:28Steven Adams (ankle) questionable for Friday
Steven Adams (sprained ankle) is "walking fine," according to Scott Brooks, but he remains questionable to play on Friday.
Whether or not he plays on Friday, this should be interpreted as good news for the Thunder. Kendrick Perkins appears locked into the starting C spot, but that hasn't prevented Adams from averaging a solid 4.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in just 16 minutes off the bench.
