Barnes (hamstring) resumed his normal role as a starter Friday against the Wizards where he posted eight points, four rebounds, and two blocks on 31 minutes of action.
Barnes previously missed the last two games with a hamstring injury but dispelled any doubts with his 31-minute outing Friday. He should be available moving forward which means that Hedo Turkoglu will go back to a limited role off the bench.

Barnes (hamstring) took part in Friday's shootaorund, Dan Woike of the OC Register reports.
Barnes has missed the last two games with a minor hamstring issue, but his participation in shootaround is a fairly sound indication that he'll try to give it a go Friday night against Washington. If that's the case, Hedo Turkoglu will likely return to a bench role.

Barnes (hamstring) will not play Wednesday against the Kings, Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com reports.
Barnes did not play Tuesday against Charlotte due to a minor hamstring issue. The injury has nagged him over the past month, and it looks like he'll miss another game Wednesday, meaning Hedo Turkoglu is slated for another start.

Barnes will likely be another game-time decision for Wednesday's contest against the Kings. In his absence, veteran Hedo Turkoglu will serve as the replacement at starting small forward.
Mon Mar 16 201520:29Matt Barnes: (Hamstring) Questionable For Tuesday
Barnes (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Hornets, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Barnes missed two games to start March due to a hamstring concern, which has apparently reemerged. In his last five games, though, he's averaged 15.4 points (on 53 percent shooting), 3.4 three-pointers, 2.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.8 blocks in 32 minutes.

Barnes scored 22 points (6-8 FG, 6-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT) with three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and three steals in 40 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Thunder.
Barnes is being relied upon more with Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford both sidelined. Barnes should continue to see as many minutes as he can handle at small forward. He has a skill set that can result in big lines, making him valuable in any league.

Barnes (hamstring) returned to the starting lineup during Sunday's loss to the Warriors, and finished with nine points (4-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two assists and a blocked shot in 23 minutes.
Barnes missed two games with the hamstring injury, but was able to play 23 minutes Sunday. As long as he didn't suffer any setbacks with the injury, expect his minutes to be in the high 20's or low 30's moving forward, especially considering Jamal Crawford (calf) will likely sit out the next week with an injury. He won't provide much fantasy value other than his three-point shooting though, so that's something to keep in mind.
Sun Mar 8 201514:18Matt Barnes: (Hamstring) Will Start Sunday
Barnes (hamstring) will play and start in Sunday's game against the Warriors, Arash Markazi of ESPN reports.
Barnes will make his comeback Sunday after missing the previous two games with a strained right hamstring. His move back into the starting lineup will demote Jordan Hamilton back to the bench. With Jamal Crawford (calf) still sidelined, Barnes has an opportunity to see extended time on the court.

Barnes (hamstring) is considered probable for Sunday's game at Golden State, the Orange County Register's Dan Woike reports.
He will be a solid source of three-point shooting for the Clippers down the stretch, but the rest of his game leaves fantasy owners in most formats wanting more. The Clippers just signed Nate Robinson to a 10-day contract, which should allow Barnes' minutes to be closely monitored in his first couple games back.
Fri Mar 6 201518:26Barnes (hamstring) did not practice Friday
Barnes (hamstring) did not practice Friday, but his status for Sunday's game was upgraded to questionable, the Orange County Register's Janis Carr reports.
He has missed two games with the hamstring injury, and after a nice long layoff, Barnes could possibly return to action Sunday. However, the fantasy upside here is very limited, and his three-point shooting is really the only skill that translates well to fantasy.
Fri Mar 6 201515:22Barnes (hamstring) not expected to play Sunday against Warriors
Barnes (hamstring) is not expected to play Sunday against the Warriors, ESPN reports.
Barnes' hamstring ailment could likely cost him a third straight appearance, which figures to allow recent signing Jordan Hamilton to receive yet another start. Nonetheless, Hamilton's minutes will probably be limited, potentially making Hedo Turkoglu the chief beneficiary from Barnes' absence, should he miss Sunday's game.
Wed Mar 4 201521:02Matt Barnes: (Hamstring) Won't Play Wednesday
Barnes (hamstring) won't take the court Wednesday against the Blazers, FOX Sports Radio reports.

Barnes (hamstring) said he hopes to play Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.
Barnes, who missed Monday's game but said he could have played if it were a playoff game, is being bothered by a hamstring injury, which he tweaked over the weekend. He expressed that he wants to play Wednesday, but noted that he'll need to be evaluated and cleared by the team's training staff before returning to the court. If Barnes is held out again, 10-day contract signee Jordan Hamilton would likely make another start at small forward.

Barnes (hamstring) will likely be held out of Monday's game against the Timberwolves, Dan Woike of the OC Register reports.
Barnes was noticeably limited by a hamstring injury during Sunday's win over the Bulls. He played 34 minutes but departed the game in the fourth quarter and was seen stretching and attempting to loosen up the hamstring. While he's yet to be officially ruled out, the team should provide an update in the near future. If he is, indeed, out, look for Hedo Turkoglu, Jordan Hamilton or Glen Davis to enter the starting lineup.

Barnes (hamstring) posted six points, four rebounds, one assist, and four blocks in 34 minutes of action Sunday against the Bulls.
It appears Barnes wasn't too limited by his hamstring injury as he was able to log 34 minutes. He's averaging 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 2.0 three-pointers made over the last five games and is worth owning in deeper leagues.

Barnes sprained his right hamstring in Sunday's game against the Bulls and is in danger of missing Monday's game against the Timberwolves, Arash Markazi of ESPN reports.
The status of Barnes should be updated following Monday's morning shootaround. If he's unable to take the court, Jordan Crawford may be forced into playing major minutes while Jordan Hamilton likely sees a slight bump as well.

Barnes scored four points (1-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), backed up by five rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 26 minutes on Sunday.
Barnes started January off going on a tear, however over the last three games he's cooled off. He's averaging five points, 3.6 rebounds and one three-pointer during that span, which may cause owners to consider leaving him on the bench until he snaps out of his funk.

Barnes had his first double-double of the season Saturday, scoring 26 points (10-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with 10 rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block in 40 minutes.
Aside from his massive contributions across the board, what is very interesting to note is that Barnes has now played 40 minutes in consecutive games and hasn't dipped under 30 minutes in the past six games. Barnes can give you steals (1.5 per game in his last four), but his major value lies in three-pointers, hitting 2.4 triples in his past 13 games. With this sort of hot streak happening, Barnes is a solid add in most leagues.
