Mon Jan 7 201315:16E'Twaun Moore (elbow) could return Saturday
E'Twaun Moore (elbow sprain) is traveling with the Magic but he isn't expected to return until Saturday or Monday.
Moore doesn't offer fantasy value when healthy, but his absence means Jameer Nelson will play as many minutes as he can handle this week.

Mon Dec 31 201220:21Moore (elbow) does not play on Monday
E'Twaun Moore (elbow) did not play on Monday against the Heat.
Moore would conceivably have a shot at value with Jameer Nelson (hip) out, but his own injury and the presence of Hedo Turkoglu make him waiver wire fodder.

Sat Dec 29 201217:45E'Twaun Moore (elbow) will not play Saturday
E'Twaun Moore (elbow) will not play against the Raptors on Saturday.
An MRI showed no damage to his joint and he's just day-to-day. Moore doesn't have much value while the Magic are healthy, but Jameer Nelson was limping after Friday's game and might not be 100 percent. Moore can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues until further notice.

Fri Dec 28 201222:34E'Twaun Moore just has a sprained elbow
E'Twaun Moore suffered a sprained left elbow in the first quarter of Friday's game.
"I just sprained my elbow, the ligament inside. So it shouldn't be too bad," Moore said. It's to his non-shooting elbow, so this injury doesn't sound too serious. The Magic take on the Raptors on Saturday, but Moore isn't really an option in most leagues with Jameer Nelson healthy.

Fri Dec 28 201220:10E'Twaun Moore suffers a sprained elbow
E'Twaun Moore suffered a sprained left elbow and preliminary reports indicate that he's isn't serious injured.
That should mean that the X-ray was negative, but we'll update you once we have the official word. He went down in the first quarter and went immediately to the locker room. Moore's value isn't very attractive with the Magic relatively healthy and it should take another hit with Hedo Turkoglu's return on the horizon.

Fri Dec 28 201219:44E'Twaun Moore injures left arm on Friday
E'Twaun Moore left Friday's game after injuring his left arm in a scrum at the end of the first quarter.
Moore went back to the locker room and we'll update you when we learn more. He had been making some deep league noise lately, but his sporadic value is even more tenuous with Hedo Turkoglu set to enter the rotation at some point.

Fri Dec 14 201221:54Moore scores 15 points with five assists
E'Twaun Moore scored 15 points with five assists on Friday against the Warriors.
Moore logged 25 minutes and this is his first mention since November 30, so even though he played well to start the season we need to see much more before recommending him as a pickup in most formats.

Sat Dec 1 201200:30E'Twaun Moore starts and plays well
E'Twaun Moore got the start for the injured Jameer Nelson (Achilles) and played well with 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes on Friday.
Moore carried value earlier this year when Jameer Nelson missed time due to injury, but the past couple weeks have shown he won't have much value while Nelson is healthy. Nelson could miss another game or two, so feel free to add Moore for a short-term boost to your roster.

Fri Nov 23 201222:28E'Twaun Moore plays just 16 minutes Friday
E'Twaun Moore's fantasy flame may have finally burned out after he played just 16 minutes and scored seven points on Friday.
He played very well when Jameer Nelson was out, but with the emergence of Moe Harkless as a starter at small forward, along with Nelson, Arron Afflalo and J.J. Redick all being healthy, Moore is simply the odd man out. Drop him for a hot free agent.

Tue Nov 20 201201:12Moore predictably slows down in bench role
E'Twaun Moore played 29 minutes off the bench on Monday, scoring eight points on 4-of-12 shooting with three rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and seven turnovers.
Moore wouldn't have played quite so much had Jameer Nelson and J.J. Redick not been limited by the flu. This was a pretty ugly game that got the best of Moore, as the turnovers are not something we've seen a lot of out of him.

Sun Nov 18 201215:52E'Twaun Moore scores 16 with Redick out
E'Twaun Moore had a nice game off the bench with 16 points, four assists and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Raptors on Sunday.
Moore got a bit of a boost today with J.J. Redick (illness) out of the lineup. His value will take a hit once Redick comes back from his illness and with Jameer Nelson back in the lineup. Owners in standard leagues can probably do better.

Sat Nov 17 201200:22Moore moves to the bench on Friday
E'Twaun Moore moved back to the bench with Jameer Nelson back in the fold on Friday, scoring six points on 3-of-6 shooting with one rebound and four assists.
Moore probably would have played more than 18 minutes had the game not been so close, with the Magic desperately needing a win, but this is his new reality now that Nelson is back. If you're holding him in a 12-14 team league it's probably time to move on.

Tue Nov 13 201222:22E'Twaun Moore still getting it done
E'Twaun Moore made another start Tuesday and had 12 points, eight assists and two 3-pointers on 5-of-14 shooting in a loss to the Knicks.
Jameer Nelson missed his sixth straight game with a groin injury, but it sounds like he could play on Friday. And once that happens, Moore will take a hit. And with J.J. Redick now starting at shooting guard, minutes might be tougher for Moore to come by than they were earlier in the season. We're not ready to fully dismiss him, but it will be a mild surprise if he is still holding fantasy value a week from now.

Sun Nov 11 201218:04E'Twaun Moore has rough outing in start
E'Twaun Moore started at point guard on Sunday and had just eight points, two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes in the loss to Brooklyn.
Interestingly, Moore's 3-pointer was the only one for the entire team on their 12 attempts. Moore looks like he'll earn a fairly significant role once Jameer Nelson can return, so Nelson owners may want to adjust accordingly.

Sat Nov 10 201200:17E'Twaun Moore posts another solid line
E'Twaun Moore scored 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting (including four threes) with four rebounds, five assists, and six turnovers in the Magic's 39-point loss to the Nets on Friday.
Moore didn't have a steal or block and the turnovers are a bummer, but he has been well worth owning while Jameer Nelson has been out. He has also produced during the preseason and while Nelson was healthy, so there is some chance that he can hold his value when Nelson returns, too.

Wed Nov 7 201223:59E'Twaun Moore scores 10 in loss to Wolves
E'Twaun Moore had 10 points, five rebounds, four assists and a steal on 4-of-14 shooting in 36 minutes on Wednesday.
We still don't know when Jameer Nelson will be back from his myriad of injuries, but even when it happens, we're hanging onto Moore until he stops producing. The same goes for J.J. Redick, who had 16 points and another 3-pointer off the bench tonight.

Tue Nov 6 201222:39E'Twaun Moore still playing well for Magic
E'Twaun Moore hit 7-of-13 shots and three 3-pointers for 17 points, five rebounds and two assists on Tuesday in a start for Jameer Nelson, who was out with a groin injury.
Moore has been playing well with or without Nelson healthy and should be held until further notice if you own him. He's not a must-own player, but is playing well enough to be worth a pick up in almost any league.

Tue Nov 6 201212:48E'Twaun Moore will draw another start Tuesday
E'Twaun Moore will draw another start in place of Jameer Nelson (hamstring, knee, groin) on Tuesday.
Moore impressed in his first start of the season with 15 points, three treys, three boards, six assists and three steals in 38 minutes, and there is no reason to believe Moore won't rack up the playing time once again on Tuesday. He's a solid short-term play for owners in daily leagues with the upside to be much more if Nelson is out for an extended period.

Sun Nov 4 201221:39E'Twaun Moore looks good in start at SG
E'Twaun Moore started at SG vs. the Suns and piled up 15 points, three 3-pointers, three rebounds, six assists and three steals in 38 minutes.
Moore scored 13 points off the bench in Orlando's opener and his strong preseason doesn't look like a fluke. He has good size and 3-point range, making him an intriguing guy to flag on waiver wires in the wake of Hedo Turkoglu's broken hand.

Fri Nov 2 201223:02Moore plays well off the bench on Friday
E'Twaun Moore scored 13 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 6-of-10 shots (including a three) with five rebounds, three assists, and one block in 24 minutes.
Moore looked great during the preseason and this has carried over into the regular season. Ish Smith is supposed to be the second string point guard, but he's returning from a shoulder injury and only played five minutes tonight. Unless Smith can regain his backup role, we're taking Moore in the event of an injury to Jameer Nelson, who had a quad bruise tonight but stayed in the game. And if he keeps putting up these lines, we might add have to take his standalone value seriously, too.
