Sun Feb 23 201421:51E'Twaun Moore scores 16 points vs. Raptors
E'Twaun Moore scored 16 points, four boards, three assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer.
He's the best offensive option in the bench for the Magic right now and coach Jacque Vaughn could use him as the sixth man. Moore has been more of a matchup play and he did only average 5.3 points per game over the last three-game stretch Arron Afflalo (ankle) missed. He's not on the radar in standard leagues yet.

Sun Feb 2 201415:50E'Twaun Moore plays 10 minutes vs. Boston
E'Twaun Moore played just 10 minutes against the Celtics on Sunday, scoring two points with one steal and two turnovers.
He was the backup for Victor Oladipo, only entering the game when Oladipo went out and vice versa. The Magic seem committed to giving Oladipo some run at point guard, so there's little reason to think Moore will have much fantasy value unless this experiment fails terribly.

Fri Jan 31 201423:18E'Twaun Moore plays 13 minutes off the bench
E'Twaun Moore was called upon for some extra playing time on Friday, finishing with 13 points, two boards, one assist, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers.
He played a total of 24 minutes and it had a lot to do with Jameer Nelson (knee) not playing beyond the first quarter. Moore has been more hit than miss in games which Nelson has sat out, but the affinity coach Jacque Vaughn has for playing Victor Oladipo at point guard is going to limit Moore's ceiling. He's worth a speculative add in deeper leagues.

Sat Jan 11 201423:49E'Twaun Moore returns to double-digits
E'Twaun Moore came off the bench for 10 points, three rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes vs. the Nuggets, his first game with double-digit points in three weeks.
Moore got some extra burn when Jameer Nelson exited with a hand injury, but Nelson's X-rays were negative so opportunistic owners can look elsewhere for PG value.

Sun Dec 29 201321:07E'Twaun Moore returns from thigh injury
Returning from his recent thigh injury, E'Twaun Moore scored three points in 12 minutes off Orlando's bench on Sunday.
He turned the ball over two times and had no other stats to his credit in the home victory, so it was a forgettable return to action for Moore. He can safely be ignored in fantasy leagues as long as Jameer Nelson and Victor Oladipo are dominating the minutes at PG.

Sun Dec 29 201310:47E'Twaun Moore (thigh) available on Sunday
E'Twaun Moore (thigh) will be available off the Magic bench on Sunday.
Moore is averaging 6.3 points, 1.7 assists and 0.8 steals in 21 minutes per game this season, while hitting 0.8 three-pointers on 37.9 percent shooting from downtown. Unfortunately, he doesn't deserve fantasy owners' attention while starting PG Jameer Nelson is healthy.

Fri Dec 27 201311:15E'Twaun Moore will not play on Friday
E'Twaun Moore will miss another game on Friday due to his bruised thigh.
This will be his third straight miss due to the injury and it should mean that Jameer Nelson and Victor Oladipo get extra minutes in his place.

Mon Dec 23 201311:24E'Twaun Moore (thigh) out again on Monday
E'Twaun Moore will sit out again on Monday as he recovers from a bruised thigh.
With Victor Oladipo now coming off Orlando's bench and playing backup PG, Moore's absence shouldn't have an appreciable impact on fantasy lineups. Consider him questionable to suit up vs. the Pistons on Friday.

Sat Dec 21 201311:33E'Twaun Moore out Saturday w/ bruised thigh
E'Twaun Moore won't play on Saturday due to a bruised thigh.
Moore scored 10 points with extra playing time on Wednesday due to Arron Afflalo's absence, but even before this thigh injury he wasn't worth a start in average fantasy leagues.

Sun Dec 8 201322:13E'Twaun Moore solid off Orlando's bench
Magic guard E'Twaun Moore played well in 22 minutes vs. Houston, leading all reserves with 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Moore made two 3-pointers and didn't turn the ball over once. Unfortunately, he wasn't even a fantasy asset while Jameer Nelson was out of the lineup and there's no reason to think this is the beginning of a hot streak.

Mon Dec 2 201322:25E'Twaun Moore struggles again Monday
E'Twaun Moore shot 1-of-8 from the floor in his second start of the season during a 98-80 loss to the Wizards on Monday, scoring six points with three boards and two steals in 28 minutes.
That puts him at 3-of-16 from the field in his two starts, so he's not going to last long with that kind of offensive ineptitude. It wouldn't be too wild of an idea for Jacque Vaughn to move Moe Harkless to small forward and Arron Afflalo to shooting guard against the Sixers on Tuesday. Jameer Nelson might be back on Friday, so Moore's value beyond this week isn't looking good.

Fri Nov 29 201323:24E'Twaun Moore struggles in start
E'Twaun Moore shot 2-of-8 from the field for six points against the Spurs to go with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
This is the type of line his owners can expect. Moore can't really fill it up and the Magic do have some scoring options on the outside, so he'll be more of a guy that will have just some treys and steals. Jameer Nelson (foot) should be considered questionable for Monday.

Wed Nov 27 201322:16E'Twaun Moore gets 30 minutes
E'Twaun Moore played a season-high 30 minutes against the Sixers on Wednesday and and seven points, six boards, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.
Jameer Nelson (foot) went down in the first half and Moore picked up almost all the minutes at point guard. Moore is capable of putting up some steals and triples, so he's worth a look as a speculative add for PG-needy owners.

Sat Nov 23 201322:59E'Twaun Moore scores 14 off bench
E'Twaun Moore made all five of his shots from the field on Saturday for 14 points with one rebound, one assist and four 3-pointers in 22 minutes.
He entered tonight with averages of 6.5 points, 1.5 assists and 0.6 triples, so this was an out-of-nowhere line. Moore will have a tough time sustaining value while the team shifts more responsibilities to Victor Oladipo, so there's little reason to pick him up in almost all leagues.

Mon Oct 14 201309:35E'Twaun Moore impresses Coach in preseason
Jacque Vaughn has been impressed with E'Twaun Moore, who finished Friday's game with seven points off the bench.
"I think what he's provided for us - especially when he was healthy last year - was making open shots," Vaughn said. "[He's] a guy that defensively can guard multiple positions ... and E'Twaun's tough. I like that toughness about him." Moore held value while starting 21 games last year, despite shooting under 40 percent from the field, but the arrival of Victor Oladipo makes it unlikely that he'll be a fantasy asset this season.

Sat Jun 29 201317:56Magic will pick up option on E'Twaun Moore
The Magic will pick up the team option on E'Twaun Moore.
They picked it up," Moore said. He was a valuable piece for the Magic this past season with Jameer Nelson almost always hurt, starting 20 games at guard with averages of 11.3 points, 5.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.4 3-pointers in those contests. The Magic could be in the market for another point guard and Victor Oladipo now in the picture won't help Moore's case for minutes.

Wed Apr 3 201322:52E'Twaun Moore's struggles continue
E'Twaun Moore continued to struggle with just three points on 1-of-6 shooting in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.
Even with Arron Afflalo (hamstring) out for the year and Jameer Nelson (ankle) hobbled, Moore is a weak fantasy play. He's well behind Beno Udrih and is shooting a dreadful 3-of-21 (14.2 percent) over the last three games.

Sat Mar 30 201322:00E'Twaun Moore held to four pts in 17 minutes
E'Twaun Moore struggled on Saturday despite Jameer Nelson's absence, posting four points and one assist off the bench, on 0-of-5 FGs and 4-of-6 FTs.
Moore played 17 minutes while Beno Udrih played 41 minutes at PG, and even DeQuan Jones scored eight points in 20 minutes as the starting SG. He should be much better most nights, but with Jameer day-to-day there isn't much upside for Moore.

Fri Mar 29 201323:08E'Twaun Moore plays 31 minutes Friday
E'Twaun Moore played 31 minutes against the Wizards on Friday and scored 15 points with four boards, five assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer on 7-of-14 shooting.
Jameer Nelson went down with an ankle injury and his status is up in the air for Saturday. Moore is a solid scoring point guard and in his 17 starts at guard this year, he averaged 12.1 points, 5.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.6 triples. He's worth owning in all standard leagues at this point.

Mon Mar 25 201322:58Moore posts 13-9-7 line in loss to Heat
E'Twaun Moore started at shooting guard and scored 13 points on 6-of-13 shooting (including a three) with nine rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a block in 39 minutes against the Heat on Monday.
Moore has a history of inconsistency, Beno Udrih struggled mightily, and the Heat boast backup level players at just about every position after LeBron and Chris Bosh. Moore is worth a hard look and is about as close to a must-add player as you can be without actually being one -- for the aforementioned reasons.
