Mon Mar 25 201318:14E'Twaun Moore to start at SG vs. Heat
E'Twaun Moore will start at SG on Monday with Arron Afllalo (hamstring) done for the season.
Beno Udrih will also play solid minutes off the bench as a backup combo guard, and his chemistry with Jameer Nelson earned him 36 minutes of action in Orlando's last game. Both Moore and Udrih are worth speculative adds for owners in need of guard help.

Mon Mar 4 201323:10Moore back to the bench with Nelson back
E'Twaun Moore went back to the bench with Jameer Nelson (knee) back in the fold on Monday, scoring seven points on 3-of-6 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, one assist and one block in 17 minutes.
Moore was a gamble in weekly leagues this week with Nelson's status iffy, and now that Nelson is back he is only worth a look in very deep formats.

Wed Feb 27 201323:19Moore, Udrih play well in place of Nelson
E'Twaun Moore started again for Jameer Nelson (knee) and had 11 points, five assists and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes on Wednesday.
Beno Udrih had 14 points, eight assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 3-of-9 shooting and played more minutes, logging 32 of them off the bench tonight. If Nelson's knee doesn't heal quickly, he's a shutdown candidate based on how bad the Magic are right now. To note, they had their doors blown off at home by the Kings' bench tonight. If Nelson continues to miss time, both Moore and Udrih will be worth a serious look in all leagues going forward.

Tue Feb 26 201321:36E'Twaun Moore plays well in another start
E'Twaun Moore made another start for Jameer Nelson on Tuesday and double-doubled with 12 points, 10 assists, a steal and three 3-pointers on 4-of-9 shooting.
As long as Nelson is out with his knee injury, Moore should be a reliable starter, along with new teammate Beno Udrih.

Tue Feb 26 201318:10E'Twaun Moore starting again for Magic
E'Twaun Moore will start once again in Tuesday's game against the Sixers.
There was some thought that Beno Udrih would take over as Jameer Nelson's (knee) direct backup, but Moore is holding on for now. Still, we'd expect both Moore and Udrih to push for 30 minutes Tuesday. Nelson is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Kings.

Sat Feb 23 201322:20E'Twaun Moore starts at PG w/ Jameer out
E'Twaun Moore chipped in 12 points, two 3-pointers, five assists, one steal and one block in Saturday's blowout loss to the visiting Cavs.
Moore also had four turnovers in 28 minutes of action. He's been a nice plug-and-play option this weekend, but his value may be short-lived since Jameer Nelson (knee) is day-to-day and the Magic just added Beno Udrih and Doron Lamb to the backcourt rotation. Use Moore while you can, but don't pass on players with long-term value to keep him.

Sat Feb 23 201300:36E'Twaun Moore scores 12 points Friday
E'Twaun Moore shot 5-of-18 from the field for 12 points with four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer against the Grizzlies on Friday.
He played 39 minutes and was set up for success with the Magic missing recently-acquired Beno Udrih. Moore had a tough matchup against Mike Conley and his shooting numbers suffered in a losing effort. He only turned the ball over twice, though, so it's an encouraging performance. Beno and Moore will likely see a timeshare while Jameer Nelson (knee) is out.

Thu Feb 21 201300:49E'Twaun Moore could be in line for more time
E'Twaun Moore played 12 minutes against the Mavericks on Wednesday, scoring five points with one board, one assist and one 3-pointer.
Jameer Nelson (knee) is going to be evaluated for his injury, so Moore is worth a look considering how there's a small chance that knee injuries can force players to miss time.

Sat Feb 9 201300:41Moore back to the bench for the Magic
E'Twaun Moore moved back to the bench on Friday, scoring two points on 1-of-6 shooting with four assists in 19 minutes.
With Arron Afflalo returning tonight it was enough to knock out the little value that Moore had. Go ahead and drop him for a hot free agent if you were holding.

Wed Feb 6 201322:29E'Twaun Moore struggles with shot in loss
E'Twaun Moore made another start with Arron Afflalo and J.J. Redick still sidelined, but hit just 3-of-16 shots for seven points, three rebounds, five assists, a steal and a 3-pointer in Wednesday's loss.
He'll go back to a serious bench role once AA and JJR are healthy and is shooting just 35 percent over his last five games. He'll explode for a good line occasionally, but is far from a must-start player, even with all of Orlando's injuries.

Mon Feb 4 201321:30Magic drop 10th straight, E'Twaun has 18 pts
The Magic dropped their 10th consecutive game on Monday despite E'Twaun Moore's team-high 18 points on 9-of-17 shooting, with three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Moore fared pretty well against the Sixers, rewarding fantasy owners who spot-started him with Jameer Nelson (arm) out of commission tonight. Jameer said that he doesn't expect to miss "much more time," however, so Moore's value could evaporate overnight.

Sun Feb 3 201300:29E'Twaun Moore shoots 3-of-14 in start at PG
E'Twaun Moore started at PG with Jameer Nelson (forearm) out on Saturday, but he shot just 3-of-14 for seven points as the Magic dropped their ninth consecutive game.
Moore has been a pleasant surprise for Orlando, especially considering he's on a partially-guaranteed contract for the league minimum. He chipped in seven rebounds, six assists and a steal tonight, but his fantasy value is very tentative with Jameer day-to-day.

Fri Feb 1 201322:18E'Twaun Moore scores 14 points vs. BOS
E'Twaun Moore picked up some extra playing time with Jameer Nelson getting hurt, finishing with 14 points, four boards, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Celtics on Friday.
When Jameer Nelson missed time back in November, Moore had a four-game stretch in which he played 39.0 minutes per game. He was also getting more minutes at shooting guard even with Jameer in the lineup over the past couple weeks, so he makes for a nice speculative add while we wait for the news on Jameer's forearm.

Sun Jan 27 201321:28E'Twaun Moore scores 18 in loss to Pistons
E'Twaun Moore hit 7-of-14 shots and a 3-pointer for 18 points, three assists and two steals on Sunday.
That makes back-to-back double-digit scoring games for Moore, meaning it's time to put him back on the fantasy radar. But as long as J.J. Redick is hot and Arron Afflalo is starting, it's hard to imagine Moore staying hot for much longer.

Thu Jan 24 201322:33E'Twaun Moore plays 23 minutes
E'Twaun Moore got some extra playing time with 23 minutes in a 97-95 loss to the Raptors on Thursday, scoring 11 points with three rebounds and one 3-pointer.
He played the entire fourth quarter as Jacque Vaughn went with a smaller lineup and kept Nikola Vucevic on the bench. This obviously isn't going to become a habit with Vucevic becoming an elite rebounder this year, so most owners can probably leave Moore on the wire while Jameer Nelson is healthy.

Mon Jan 14 201321:46E'Twaun Moore (elbow) returns on Monday
E'Twaun Moore (elbow) returned from his elbow injury on Monday and had five points in 16 minutes during a 120-91 loss to the Wizards.
Moore has been handling the backup duties and for Jameer Nelson this season and he's had some flashes when Nelson is out of the lineup. In Moore's absence, Ish Smith (two points in 14 minutes) stepped up with some exciting up-tempo play, but Moore is still likely to be a nice pickup in the event of a Nelson injury.

Mon Jan 14 201310:59E'Twaun Moore could play on Monday
E'Twaun Moore (elbow) could play on Monday.
Jacque Vaughn is taking a "wait and see" approach with Moore. If he's forced to sit out again, Ish Smith will continue to serve as Jameer Nelson's backup.

Wed Jan 9 201314:17E'Twaun Moore won't play Wednesday night
As expected, E'Twaun Moore (elbow) won't play Wednesday night against the Nuggets.
Moore is expected to return Saturday against the Clippers. Moore's been sidelined since spraining his non-shooting elbow Dec. 28. As Jameer Nelson's backup, his fantasy value is moot barring an injury.
