Profar is batting third on Saturday, but you're probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help. The 28-year-old is batting .231 with a .334 on-base percentage, four home runs, and 10 stolen bases in 394 plate appearances.

Tue Aug 31 202118:42Tommy Pham Isn't In Tuesday's Lineup
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham isn't in Tuesday's lineup. The Padres will take on right-handed starter Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks but will do so with one of their best hitters on the bench. Pham is hitting .236 with a .349 on-base percentage, 13 home runs, and 13 stolen bases in 484 plate appearances this season. It'll be Jurickson Profar starting in left field instead and batting eighth. Profar is hitting .242 with a .349 on-base percentage, three home runs, and 10 stolen bases in 337 plate appearances for San Diego this year. Unless you play in a league where on-base percentage is part of the scoring, you're probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help in the outfield.

Sat Aug 21 202117:40Tommy Pham Isn't In Saturday's Lineup
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham isn't starting on Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies and right-hander Aaron Nola. Pham is batting .242 with a .351 on-base percentage, 13 home runs, and 13 stolen bases in 461 plate appearances this season. It'll be Wil Myers starting in left field in Pham's place and batting seventh. The 30-year-old is batting .261 with a .343 on-base percentage, 15 home runs, and seven stolen bases in 396 plate appearances for the Padres this year. It's a tough matchup against Nola, but Myers has some streaming appeal in daily fantasy play or in smaller leagues where on-base percentage is part of the scoring.

Sat Aug 21 202102:29Tommy Pham Walks Three Times, Scores A Run
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham batted leadoff Friday night against the Philadelphia Phillies, and he showed off his plate discipline by walking three times. He went 0-for-2 in his official at-bats and scored a run. Pham adds more value in leagues that count on-base percentage instead of batting average, as his OBP sits 109 points higher at .351. Still, he contributes plenty in any format, with 13 homers, 13 steals, 67 runs scored, and 40 RBI in 389 at-bats for the year. Fantasy managers should pay attention to how the playing time shakes out in a crowded outfield, but Pham's everyday role appears secure.

Wed Aug 18 202114:05Tommy Pham Out Of The Lineup For Wednesday's Game
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is out of the starting lineup for the second time over the last three games on Wednesday. Wil Myers is getting the start in left field for the game. Pham has been struggling at the plate in August. Over 15 games this month, he's slashed .179/.246/.357 with two home runs, five RBI and five runs. Fernando Tatis Jr. has been getting starts in right field lately, which has resulted in both Myers and Pham losing some playing time. If Tatis remains in the outfield, we may continue to see more rest games for both Myers and Pham going forward.

Wed Aug 18 202102:06Tommy Pham Hits 13th Homer Against Rockies
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham hit his 13th home run of the year off Colorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez Tuesday as part of back-to-back home runs in a three-home-run seventh inning. It was his only hit in four at-bats. Pham has struggled to a .179/.246/.357 slash line in August, but with four extra-base hits in his last six games, there are signs he's starting to turn the corner. With his all-around contributions, fantasy managers should keep him active and hope a rebound is coming.

Wed Aug 11 202113:28Tommy Pham Taking A Seat On Wednesday
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is getting the day off on Wednesday. Trent Grisham is batting leadoff in Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins while Brian O'Grady is covering Pham's usual post in left field. Pham has settled in as the everyday leadoff hitter for the Padres, but he's been struggling a bit so far in August. Through eight games this month, he's slashing .143/.189/.257 with 12 strikeouts and only two walks. It's been an up-and-down season so far for Pham. He got off to an extremely slow start, but went on to post a 1.074 OPS in June. He may run a bit hot and cold throughout the year, but he's a key contributor to one of the MLB's top lineups and should be started in just about all fantasy leagues on a weekly basis until further notice.

Wed Aug 4 202112:11Tommy Pham Leads Off With A Bang
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI Tuesday against the Oakland Athletics. Pham kicked off the contest with a leadoff blast against starter Sean Manaea, then added an RBI single an inning later as part of an 8-1 victory. Entering the contest hitting .103 (4-for-39) in his last 11 contests, the 33-year-old has run both extremely hot and cold this season. Overall, he carries a respectable slash of .254/.362/.413 with 12 homers, 13 steals and 99 runs-plus-RBI in 403 plate appearances. For patient fantasy managers, Pham is a reliable OF3 in season-long formats.

Mon Aug 2 202121:48Tommy Pham Is Ice Cold At The Plate
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is riding a cold streak at the plate currently after going hitless on Sunday. It was the fifth time in his last 10 games that he has gone hitless, as he is now slashing .111/.220/.222 with one home run, one RBI, six runs scored and a 16:5 K:BB over that span. While this slump is frustrating to managers, overall he's had a fairly solid year at the plate, hitting .251 with a .766 OPS, 11 home runs, 13 steals, 35 RBI and 61 runs scored over 103 games. He'll look to break out of this slump in the Padres' series opener with the Athletics.
