Wilson will make his first MLB start and pitch in the first game of Thursday's double-header against the White Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com reports.
Most of Wilson's experience has come with Triple-A Norfolk, where he has started eight games and boasts an ERA of 3.29 in 41.0 innings pitched. He has, however, pitched a total of two innings out of the bullpen for Baltimore, allowing five hits and one run in that time. He also earned his first MLB win on Saturday and has now earned the right to get his first taste of being a starter in the majors.

Wilson's start with Triple-A Norfolk will be shortened Monday to keep him as an option to start for the Orioles Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Wilson remains one of two candidates, TJ McFarland being the other, to start one of the two doubleheader games Thursday. The 25-year-old made two appearances with the Orioles out of the bullpen recently, but was optioned back to Triple-A Saturday. If he does receive the call, the start would be his first in the majors.

Wilson was optioned back to Triple-A on Saturday, the Baltimore Sun's Dan Connolly reports.
He recorded his first MLB win in relief Friday but will be sent down so that the Orioles can call up righty Oliver Drake. Wilson will continue to provide organizational bullpen depth.

Wilson allowed one run in one inning of relief Friday and earned his first major league win, but he may be sent down prior to Saturday's game, MASN Sports reports.
Wilson pitched in relief in two games after being called up earlier this week. He replaced Ubaldo Jimenez early because the team had the opportunity to pinch-hit for Jimenez in an NL park. Wilson got the call with the Orioles in a bullpen bind, but he is not a reliever and will return to starting at Triple-A when he is sent back down. The Orioles need fresh bullpen arms and recalled Oliver Drake prior to Saturday's game.
Mon May 18 201519:56Wilson recalled from Triple-A Norfolk
Wilson has been recalled from Triple-A Norfolk, Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun reports.
With Bud Norris (illness) hitting the 15-day DL on Monday, Wilson will come up from Norfolk to fill Norris' spot on the 25-man roster. The 25-year-old has found success at Triple-A this season, posting a 3.43 ERA and 6.6 K/9 in 39.1 innings. Though all of his Triple-A action has come as a starter, Wilson will likely serve in a long-relief role with the Orioles.

Wilson was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday.
Wilson got one final taste of the big leagues Saturday with a start, but wasn't expected to make the rotation out of camp. That is indeed the case, as he'll return to the minors and await another opportunity.

Wilson will start Saturday's spring training game against the Yankees, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
C.C. Sabathia was originally slated to start the game, but it will instead be Wilson, who was selected as the Yankees minor league pitcher of the year in 2014. Wilson will likely begin the season at Triple-A, but he'll be among a host of arms who could push for a bullpen spot at some point in 2015.
