Crawford, who scored 16 points in the fourth quarter, connected on 10 of 19 shots from the field, including 6 of 9 3 pointers.

Crawford anticipates a decline in playing time with the Clippers this season, Robert Morales of the Long Beach Press-Telegram reports.

The two-time Sixth Man of the Year seems to recognize that the Clippers' offseason acquisition of Lance Stephenson, among other additions the team made this summer to address an unproductive bench, is an immediate threat to his minutes count. Even with lesser competition for run last season, Crawford had already seen his minutes tumble from 30.3 per game in 2013-14 to 26.6 per game. It's possible that figure could fall into the low-20s if Stephenson provides the kind of impact the Clippers are banking on.

Crawford will remain with the Clippers in 2015-16, ESPN.com reports.

The Clippers have guaranteed the fourth and final year on Crawford's current contract. However, his role in the upcoming campaign is in some doubt due to the offseason additions of Paul Pierce and Lance Stephenson (toe). Nevertheless, in three seasons with the Clippers, Crawford has averaged 17.0 points, 2.7 assists, 2.1 three-pointers, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 29 minutes, while knocking down 42 percent from the floor and 88 percent at the charity stripe.

Crawford contributed 15.8 points (40% FG, 33% 3Pt, 90% FT), 1.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 27 minutes per game during 64 regular season games in 2014-15.

In 14 playoff games, Crawford averaged 12.7 points (36% FG, 24% 3Pt, 87% FT), 2.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 27 minutes per game. The 35-year-old volume scorer is set to make $5.7 million in 2015-16, the final year of his current contract.

Crawford scored 19 points (6-22 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 6-7 FT) with five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's Game 2 loss to the Rockets.

Crawford has spent extra time handling the ball with Chris Paul out due to a hamstring injury. He has shot 14-40 from the field over the past two games. Look for his shot to start falling soon.

Crawford scored 16 points (7-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt) with two rebounds and three assists in the game seven win over the Spurs on Saturday.

Crawford played the majority of the fourth quarter, as Doc Rivers was forced to pull his starting center to avoid the Spurs employing the Hack-A-DeAndre strategy. He came up with a big game-tying layup down the stretch, and looks ready to resume his role as a volume scorer off the bench. Look for Crawford to get extra minutes in game one in Houston with Chris Paul (hamstring) on the sidelines.

Crawford is averaging 24.8 minutes on the court over the first six games of the playoffs against the Spurs.

Crawford is the first option off the bench and can put up numbers in a hurry, but he's still restrained to limited minutes as he slots in behind J.J. Redick and Matt Barnes. Heading into Game 7 on Saturday, Crawford is in line to see his normal portion of playing time off the bench and will probably see around his average moving forward if the Clippers are fortunate enough to keep their playoff campaign alive.

Crawford had 10 points, four assists, three steals, and three rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's regular season finale against Phoenix.

Crawford is still working his way back into game shape, as evidenced by his 4-of-12 shooting performance. Still, it was encouraging to see Crawford log extended minutes for the first time since returning from a calf injury last week. Crawford figures to be one of Los Angeles' primary options off the bench in the postseason.

Crawford (calf) came off the bench in Tuesday's win over the Lakers, but was held to just four points (2-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and one assist in 19 minutes.

Crawford missed almost all of March and three games in April with a bruised right calf. He's shooting just 40 pecent from the floor this season but does average 16.2 points per game. Still, with so few games left in the season, it's likely not worth picking him up again in most leagues.

This comes as no surprise as Crawford had been labeled as probable to return Tuesday. The Clippers will now get a chance to set their playoff rotation, with Crawford assuming his typical sixth man role.

Crawford said he's feeling much better, but he declined to offer a target return date. The veteran noted that he'd like to get a couple of games in prior to the playoffs, so, barring a setback, he'll likely look to make his return at some point next week.

This return date could easily change, and it's unlikely that he would come back prior that day. With that said, it's safe to drop Crawford from your team if your fantasy playoffs end before the end of the NBA season, if you haven't already. Even if the playoffs go until the end of the NBA season, dropping Crawford now would be a smart move if there's someone on the waiver wire who can help you win now.

Crawford (calf) believes that he won't miss the remainder of the season, the Los Angeles Times reports. "It's hard not playing," he said. "But I just look at it as each day is a little closer to coming back."

On Thursday, Crawford relayed that his bruised right calf isn't as "tender" as it was in past weeks, when the calf was drained in order to increase the rate of healing. While he has started shooting again, he has yet to resume running, which likely spurred coach Doc Rivers to state recently that Crawford was "nowhere near playing." Until he partakes in the usual array of basketball activity, consider Crawford out indefinitely.
