Ingles (back) is dealing with back spasms and will be reevaluated Saturday, Jody Genessy of the Deseret News reports.

Ingles played 29 minutes in Friday's loss to Phoenix and was experiencing issues with his lower back immediately after the game. At this point, the swingman should be considered questionable for Saturday's game against Sacramento.

Ingles set career highs for points with 16 (4-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and three-pointers with four, adding one rebound, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes Saturday.

It was Ingles' first double-digit scoring game in his last five, but his minutes have been consistent, and have topped 30 in his last two games. With Rodney Hood (foot) out until at least the All-Star break, Ingles appears locked into the starting shooting guard role and is averaging 7.2 points, 1.8 three-pointers, 2.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals in his last six games. He's not a must-own player by any means, but in deeper leagues, he should start getting scooped up.

Ingles managed to play 22 minutes against the Lakers on Friday even though Rodney Hood (heel) returned from injury.

Ingles has held his own at the starting shooting guard position while Hood has been sidelined, and Ingles even started Friday. Although, Hood is expected to regain his spot in the starting five over the long term and Ingles had trouble mustering up significant production in terms of fantasy during that run anyways. The 27-year-old rookie from Australia has played in all 40 games for the Jazz this season but at no point has he ever been a viable option in standard-sized leagues.

Ingles played 30 minutes as a starter for the Jazz and provided seven points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds, and four assists in the win over Minnesota.

Ingles has taken over the starting role with Alec Burks (shoulder) out for the season. He had been playing regular minutes off the bench and had not been producing fantasy relevant numbers. It appears that situation won't change as a starter for the 27-year-old rookie.

Ingles will start Saturday against the Timberwolves, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Ingles will make his first start of the season as the Jazz look for someone to take over the starting shooting guard role. He has averaged just 6.5 points on 41.3 % shooting per 36 minutes on this season, so it seems unlikely he will see a major boost in production even in a more prominent role.

Ingles has made an appearance in all 29 games for the Jazz this season, although he's only averaging 15.9 minutes on the court per contest.

Ingles has seen a reduction in minutes over the last nine games since Alec Burks returned to health. Considering that the Jazz will pick up their schedule after Christmas with almost a complete clean bill of health, it's unlikely that the 26-year-old rookie will see more than 20 minutes on the court during any given game.

Ingles came off the bench for 11 minutes during the loss to the Heat on Friday.

Ingles has seen a reduction in minutes since Alec Burks (shoulder) returned to the lineup. Even then Ingles wasn't worth the waiver wire option when he saw extended time on the court, so obviously he's not worth the play moving forward.

Ingles played 24 minutes off the bench but only contributed three points (1-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, five assists, and one steal against the Warriors.

The injury to Rodney Hood (foot) should allow for Ingles to receive above-average playing time through mid-December. Although, he doesn't do much in terms of production for fantasy purposes despite the significant time on the court.

Ingles was only able to tally one assist during his 13 minutes off the bench Wednesday against the Cavaliers.

Ingles has surprisingly played in all five of Utah's games this season while averaging 10.6 minutes off the bench. The Australian is definitely in coach Quin Snyder's rotation but his minutes fail in comparison to fellow small forwards Gordon Hayward (36.2) and Rodney Hood (17.2).

Ingles was claimed off waivers by the Jazz on Monday, Yahoo! Sports reports.

The Australian wing was one of the Clippers' final cuts, and he'll join a Jazz team with more roster flexibility. It's tough to pinpoint what his role will be when the season begins, but expect him to compete with Steve Novak and fellow recent-signee Jordan Hamilton for minutes at small forward.
