Thu Apr 28 202209:00Cedric Mullins Turning A Corner With Four-Game Hit Streak
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins got off to a slow start to the 2022 season, but he's been making some strides offensively over the past week. He's currently riding a four-game hitting streak. Over the course of the four-game stretch, he's walked four time and struck out just once. He's also scored a total of seven runs over his past four games after compiling just three runs across his first 14 games. The 27-year-old is making a lot of good contact right now with a 45.3% hard-hit rate and a 13.2% barrel rate. Both of those numbers are up from last year (39.4% hard-hit rate; 8.1% barrel rate). He's slugging .377 on the season, but he has an xSLG of .514, suggesting his surface power stats are a bit misleading. Expect to see him produce more extra-base hits over the coming weeks than he has thus far.

Ryan McKenna is starting in center field and batting fifth against Yankees left-hander Nestor Cortes in Mullins' place on Sunday. Baltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins struggled at the plate during Friday's victory over the New York Yankees. The young outfielder went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts in the extra inning victory. Mullins has only five hits on the season with a horrendous 13/1 K/BB ratio to date. Hopefully, this is just a little slump for Mullins and fantasy managers don't have to worry too much.

Sat Apr 2 202222:24Cedric Mullins Having A Slow Spring
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins is off to a slow start in Grapefruit League action this spring. Mullins is hitting just .130 with one homer, three runs, two RBI, and a steal over 23 at-bats. The 27-year-old outfielder enjoyed a breakout season in 2021, hitting .291 with 30 homers, 91 runs, 59 RBI, and 30 steals in 602 at-bats. Mullins was the only 30-30 player in all of baseball in 2021 and his combination of power and speed makes him a very intriguing option in fantasy drafts for 2022. Fantasy managers should shake off Mullins' slow spring and draft him as a top-10 outfielder in mixed leagues this year.

Wed Feb 2 202218:51Cedric Mullins Battled Crohn's Disease In 2021
Baltimore Orioles All-Star outfielder Cedric Mullins revealed on Wednesday that he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease after undergoing colon surgery last offseason. Mullins was baseball's only 30-30 player last season, and he remarkably did it while battling the disease. The 27-year-old began experiencing symptoms in the spring of 2020, initially thinking he was suffering from food poisoning. Mullins excelled all of last season on his way to winning a Silver Slugger award and finishing 10th in American League MVP voting. Because of his big 2021 season for the O's, Mullins has become a top-30 fantasy player heading into the 2022 campaign.

Sat Nov 27 202111:32Cedric Mullins Available Via Trade?
Word has gotten out that the Baltimore Orioles would listen to trade offers for star center fielder Cedric Mullins, and teams are lining up to give it a shot knowing that it's probably a long shot. The asking price for Mullins is understandably extremely high, with teams like the Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, San Francisco Giants and New York Yankees likely to be interested because of their need for a center fielder. Mullins was an All-Star in 2021 and finished ninth in the voting for American League MVP after hitting .291 with 30 home runs, 30 stolen bases, 91 runs scored, 37 double and an .878 OPS. He's only 27 years old and won't be a free agent until 2026, which only raises his price. Mullins certainly would be more attractive in fantasy playing for a contender like the Yankees.

Fri Oct 1 202110:02Cedric Mullins Goes Hitless Again Thursday
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Red Sox. The 27-year-old has had a fantastic season overall but is not pulling through in the final week of the season, managing just one hit with seven strikeouts. Mullins has been a huge fantasy asset and one of baseball's best offensive players this season, so it makes his small cold streak that much more frustrating for the final week of the fantasy season.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins had a big day at the plate in Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Angels. Mullins went 2-for-4 with a single, a leadoff home run, three RBI, and a strikeout. It was nice to see the production from the 26-year-old, as he has been slumping by his standards in August, slashing just .244/.292/.451. Mullins has been a huge fantasy asset this season and should still probably be in fantasy managers' lineups by default given how he has performed all season and his power/speed threat.

The 26-year-old has been phenomenal this season, slashing .320/.384/.552 with 40 RBI and 21 steals.
