Wed Feb 9 202218:06Domantas Sabonis Expected To Make Kings Debut Wednesday?
Newly-acquired Sacramento Kings power forward Domantas Sabonis is not on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and may make his debut with the team during the game. Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday, who were traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Kings along with Sabonis, are expected to debut in the game. It's unclear how heavy of a role Sabonis will have in his team debut. Richaun Holmes and Harrison Barnes will start in the frontcourt for Sacramento, but the rest of the frontcourt picture is a bit unclear for the team ahead of Wednesday's game. Marvin Bagley III (ankle) is questionable for the game, leaving Damian Jones as the only other primary big off the bench. Fantasy managers in season-long leagues should certainly start Sabonis if he plays, but he isn't worth taking a chance on in DFS.

Tue Feb 8 202213:56Domantas Sabonis Heading To Sacramento
The Indiana Pacers have agreed on a deal that will send star power forward Domantas Sabonis to the Sacramento Kings. Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday are heading to Sacramento while Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson are being traded to Indiana. The Kings had been one of the rumored suitors for Sabonis so it's not shocking to see him land there. However, we're a bit surprised to see Haliburton as the prize piece on the other end of the deal as his name hadn't been circulating in trade rumors as much as his backcourt partner De'Aaron Fox. Richaun Holmes' fantasy value will take a significant hit with Sabonis in town while ... [More]

Indiana Pacers center Domantas Sabonis will return for Sunday's matchup versus Cleveland. Sabonis missed his previous three games while adhering to COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Sat Feb 5 202218:12Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon Questionable Sunday
Indiana Pacers center Domantas Sabonisand point guard Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) have earned questionable designations for Sunday's contest vs. Cleveland. Sabonis has missed the past three games under the leagues' COVID-19 health and safety protocols, allowing Terry Taylor to step into a significant frontcourt role as Goga Bitadze (foot) and Isaiah Jackson (ankle) have also gone down. Brogdon has appeared in just two contests since Dec. 21 due to a sore Achilles, which has allowed Caris LeVert to see a larger offensive role of late. Fantasy managers will want to check back prior to tip-off, as Sabonis' and Brogdon's statuses will be vital to Indiana's rotation.

Mon Jan 31 202217:46Domantas Sabonis Enters COVID-19 Protocols
Indiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis has entered the league's health and safety protocols. It sounds like Sabonis is going to miss at least the next three games, according to the NBA injury report. Goga Bitadze (foot) and Oshae Brissett (ankle) are banged up as well heading into Monday's game. That means, Isaiah Jackson could be looking at heavy playing time and be worth streaming in most formats. Jackson might be worth snagging in the short term while the Pacers are shorthanded.

Fri Jan 28 202219:10Domantas Sabonis Expected To Play Friday
Indiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis (ankle) is expected to play during Friday's game, according to head coach Rick Carlisle. Sabonis has missed each of the last four games, but it sounds like he'll return against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. However, the Pacers are likely going to wait until pregame warmups before officially committing to Sabonis suiting up. His return should mean a decrease in value for Goga Bitadze. Although, Myles Turner (foot) is still out, so Bitadze should still have a role. It's uncertain if Sabonis is going to be limited or not during his first game back. Fantasy managers in season long formats should feel safe sliding him back into their lineups. Although, he could be a risky DFS option for Friday's slate.

Wed Jan 26 202218:28Domantas Sabonis Ruled Out Against Hornets
Indiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. He has missed each of the last two games and it looks like he'll sit out at least one more game. The Pacers aren't exactly competitive right now, so Indiana doesn't need to rush him back to the court. In the meantime, Goga Bitadze is looking like a quality fantasy asset while Sabonis is sidelined. He's worth a look as a streaming option and DFS choice for Wednesday. Also, head coach Rick Carlisle mentioned that Sabonis is making progress, so possibly he can return as early as this weekend.

Thu Jan 20 202218:38Domantas Sabonis Will Miss Thursday’s Contest
Indiana Pacers power forward/center Domantas Sabonis (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game vs. Golden State due to a sprained left ankle. The absence will be just the second this year for Sabonis, who recorded his fourth triple-double of 2021-22 on Wednesday. With Myles Turner (foot) also down, Goga Bitadze stands to see a significant uptick in usage, making him a premier DFS play on the small slate. Chris Duarte should be one of Indiana's offensive focal points, with Oshae Brissett and Justin Holiday also having elevated scoring ceilings. Sabonis' next chance to suit up comes Saturday against the Suns.

Thu Dec 30 202108:15Domantas Sabonis Cooks Up A Juicy Line
Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis hit only 3-for-9 from the field in Wednesday's defeat to Charlotte, but he put together a nice line with 16 points, 18 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block. He was 1-for-5 with the three-ball and grabbed most of his points at the charity stripe with an 8-for-14 effort. Sabonis' shot has now been off for three consecutive games, so his Wednesday's performance wasn't anything new. It might take a while before he gets back on track, as Indiana now faces tough challenges against Chicago and Cleveland. The Cavaliers are having a very impressive season and sit third in defensive efficiency, while the Bulls also boast a top-10 defense.

Tue Dec 28 202119:29Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb Set To Play Wednesday
Indiana Pacers power forward/center Domantas Sabonis (calf) and shooting guard/small forward Jeremy Lamb (wrist) have been removed from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's contest against Charlotte. Sabonis missed his first game of the season last week due to a calf ailment, but he was able to log 35 minutes Sunday en route to logging his 24th double-double of the season. Lamb has battled a stunted minutes allotment this year, in addition to shooting just 36.1 percent from the field overall. With Indiana almost back at full health aside from Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles), Lamb likely stands on the outside looking in of the vast majority of season-long formats, whereas Sabonis retains his elite status moving forward.

Sun Dec 26 202119:06Domantas Sabonis In, Malcolm Brogdon Out On Sunday
Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis (calf) will return to the lineup on Sunday against Chicago, while Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) is forced to sit out another game. Sabonis' return is bad news for Myles Turner, who just went off for 32 points and 10 rebounds against the Rockets on Thursday. The two have struggled to coexist and it appears to be a safe bet that one of the two will get traded this season. With Brogdon still missing, Caris LeVert will be the main ballhandler. He logged a superb 24-8-11 line last time out against the Rockets. Jeremy Lamb (wrist) is missing as well, so we should see a lot of LeVert and Chris Duarte.

Sun Dec 26 202118:49Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon Questionable For Sunday
Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis (calf) and point guard Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) are regarded as questionable for Sunday's game against Chicago. Neither played in Thursday's 118-106 win over Houston, and Brogdon has logged just eight minutes of action across the last three games as he deals with right Achilles soreness. Caris LeVert and Myles Turner each had huge games against the Rockets and will do the heavy lifting again if Sabonis and Brogdon can't go, although the matchup is a lot tougher. Jeremy Lamb (wrist) is also questionable for the game.

Thu Dec 23 202117:42Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon Will Miss Thursday’s Game
Indiana Pacers power forward/center Domantas Sabonis (calf) and point guard Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) will both be unavailable for Thursday's contest against Houston. The absence for Sabonis will mark his first of the season, while Brogdon's is a perpetuation of the Achilles soreness that forced him from Tuesday's outing. Without the team's top two scorers, look for Caris LeVert and Myles Turner to carry elevated offensive roles, while Kelan Martin and Brad Wanamaker should slide into more minutes in place of Sabonis and Brogdon, respectively. The next chance for Indiana's premier assets to get back into action comes Sunday vs. the Bulls.

Thu Dec 16 202109:45Domantas Sabonis Rolls To Another Double-Double
Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis took his double-double streak to eight games on Wednesday, completing a 114-99 loss to Milwaukee with 16 points and 10 rebounds. It was a quiet scoring night for him, but Sabonis actually shot a very good 6-for-10 from the field with a 4-for-4 effort at the foul line. He capped off his line with five assists, one steal and five turnovers. The two-time All-Star is shooting nearly 73 percent from the field in December, so he should hit his scoring stride again soon. Thursday's matchup against Detroit offers a very good opportunity to do so, as the Pistons are ranked just 23rd in defensive efficiency.

Tue Dec 14 202108:15Domantas Sabonis Rocks Warriors With 30 Points, 11 Boards
Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis had an outstanding game against the Warriors on Monday, scoring a game-high 30 points on 12-for-17 shooting with 11 rebounds. He hit 6-for-10 at the charity stripe and completed his line with two steals, one block and one turnover in 36 minutes. Sabonis is now on a seven-game double-double streak, and his shooting has been amazing this month at 74.8 percent. He'll now start preparing for a back-to-back set against Milwaukee and Detroit. The Bucks limited Sabonis to just four points when the two teams last met, but a meeting with the Pistons gives the Lithuanian another nice spot to dominate. Detroit has a poor defense and sits 29th in the league in rebounding rate.

Indiana Pacers power forward Domantas Sabonis logged 24 points and 10 rebounds for his league-leading, 21st double-double of the season during a 106-93 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. The 25-year-old shot 9-for-13 from the field, including a three on his only attempt, and 5-for-6 from the line. The Gonzaga product also added seven assists, two turnovers, and a steal across 35 minutes. The seventh-year pro has been productive despite taking a step back in assists and points per game this season, averaging 4.2 and 18.2, respectively. However, the big man has improved his efficiency in shooting across two levels by going 58.4% from the field and 76.2% from the line.

Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis did very little wrong in Wednesday's win over the Knicks, shooting 7-for-8 from the field and 5-for-7 at the foul line to get another double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. The two-time All-Star finds himself in trade rumors, but he hasn't let it affect him, and judging by his recent performances, it looks like Sabonis is even trying to impress potential suitors. He'll return to action on Friday in a very favorable matchup against Dallas.

Sabonis also bagged six assists with three turnovers and produced three steals with one block. The 25-year-old is shooting an incredible 75.8 percent from the field in his first few outings of the month. He will now get to face the slumping Knicks and Sabonis will then finish the week with a very good matchup against the Mavericks, who can't handle opposing bigs.

Thu Dec 2 202109:08Domantas Sabonis Misses Only Once From The Field
Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis ended a shooting slump with a superb 9-for-10 effort from the floor on Wednesday against Atlanta, notching 22 points in a 114-111 loss. He produced another double-double with 10 rebounds and delivered four assists with three turnovers in 39 minutes. Sabonis had shot just 6-for-20 from the field in his previous two games. The Lithuanian is generally a very efficient scorer, so his recent struggles came out of the blue. He faces a tough matchup against the Heat next, but Bam Adebayo (thumb) will be missing for Miami and it will be definitely easier to score with him off the court. Their rebounding also takes a hit with him not available.

Tue Nov 30 202109:23Domantas Sabonis Gets 25 Rebounds During Triple-Double Effort
Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis was a monster on the glass Monday night against Minnesota, grabbing a career-high 25 rebounds during a triple-double performance. He finished a 100-98 loss with 16 points on 5-for-12 shooting and handed out 10 assists with four turnovers. Sabonis also produced one block in 36 minutes of action, while going 0-for-4 from outside and 6-for-7 at the foul line. The Pacers star was limited to a season-low four points in Sunday's loss to the Bucks, so he had plenty to prove here. Sabonis will face two good rebounding teams next and thus likely won't be able to dominate the boards as he did on Monday. Indiana takes on Atlanta on Wednesday and Miami on Friday, two teams that are among the league leaders in rebounding rate.
