Gibson will likely remain in the starting lineup for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Cavaliers, Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated reports.
With Pau Gasol (hamstring) being held out again, Gibson will likely remain in the lineup as the starting power forward. Gibson scored six points (2-7 FG, 2-2 FT) to go along with eight rebounds, two assists and one block in 34 minutes in Game 4 Sunday against the Cavaliers.
Gibson started in place of Pau Gasol (hamstring), but didn't produce much offensively. He is a much better defender than Gasol, but his offensive game isn't nearly as good. He would start again in Game 5 Tuesday if Gasol is unable to play again.
Sun May 10 201515:14Taj Gibson: Will Start In Game 4
Gibson will start in place of Pau Gasol (hamstring) in Game 4 on Sunday against the Cavaliers, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Gibson is averaging 24 minutes through the first three games of the series but has a chance to see that number rise Sunday with Gasol out of the lineup. Although, Nikola Mirotic could end up seeing considerable time off the bench, thus detracting from Gibson's minutes. Either way, Gibson has a good opportunity ahead of him in Game 4.
Fri Apr 24 201514:01Gibson playing through left shoulder injury
Gibson has been playing through a left shoulder injury, the Chicago Tribune reports.
We've known about this injury for a while, but Gibson reaffirmed Thursday that he's still bothered by the shoulder. "It's tough," Gibson said. "But you still have to go out there and do your best." Gibson received a cortisone shot in the shoulder last week, and he continues to receive treatment before and after games. The forward has struggled offensively thus far in the Bulls' first-round series, but he hauled in 10 rebounds in Game 1 and pulled down 10 in Thursday's Game 3.

Gibson (knee) grabbed one rebound and blocked three shots in 11 minutes in Game 2 Monday against the Bucks.
Gibson didn't attempt a shot Monday and struggled with foul trouble. He'll get a few days to rest his knee some more as Game 3 isn't until Thursday.
Sun Apr 19 201514:40Taj Gibson: Says Knee Is Fine
Gibson (knee) doesn't seem to be in danger of missing Game 2 on Monday against the Bucks, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Gibson suffered a right knee strain in Game 1 but the Bulls aren't overly concerned and Gibson is on track to assume his normal role against the Bucks on Monday. That said, his last hurdle for official approval will be Monday's morning shootaround.

Gibson (knee) suffered a right knee strain during Saturday's game against Milwaukee, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.
Gibson was reportedly probable to return, but the Bulls had all-but sealed the victory, which allowed Gibson to rest for the remainder of the game. Given that he could have returned if needed, Gibson should be considered probable for game two on Monday.

Gibson (shoulder) will miss the remainder of Wednesday's game with a shoulder strain, Chuck Garfien of CSN Chicago reports.
Gibson had some shoulder soreness entering Wednesday's game, but still drew the start for the injured Joakim Noah. He will miss the remainder of Wednesday's game and should be considered day-to-day heading into the postseason.

Gibson (shoulder) will start Wednesday's regular season finale against Atlanta, K.C Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Gibson will slot into the starting lineup with Joakim Noah sidelined. He had some shoulder stiffness prior to Wednesday's pregame warmup, but Gibson will be able to play in the regular season finale.
Wed Apr 15 201518:29Gibson (shoulder) will be game-time decision Wednesday
Gibson (shoulder) will be a game-time decision Wednesday, Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago reports.
Coach Tom Thibodeau said Gibson will warm up before being evaluated one final time. If his shoulder is deemed too stiff, he'll be held out, but a final call may not come until just before tip.

Gibson has some soreness in his shoulder but he's expected to play Wednesday against the Hawks, KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Assuming he plays, Gibson will likely make another start in place of Joakim Noah, who is being held out with knee/hamstring issues. Gibson played 31 minutes Monday, putting up 15 points, nine rebounds and four blocks in the blowout victory over Brooklyn.
Mon Apr 13 201519:02Gibson will get start Monday in place of Joakim Noah (knee)
Gibson will get the start Monday in place of Joakim Noah (knee), KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Noah is a late scratch due to tendinitis in his knee, so Gibson will move into the starting lineup at power forward as Pau Gasol shifts to center. Expect Gibson to see a bump in minutes.

Gibson scored 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 FT) to go along with nine rebounds and one block in 24 minutes Saturday against the Knicks.
This was Gibson's best game since returning from injury, but it did come in a blowout victory where none of the Bulls starters played more than 28 minutes. The emergence of Nikola Mirotic may limit Gibson's value down the stretch as he's not likely to play as many minutes off the bench as he has in the past.

Gibson (ankle) posted four points, seven rebounds, three steals, and one block in 32 minutes of action Monday against the Hornets.
This marked the most minutes Gibson has played in a game since returning from his injury. He was still inefficient, and it didn't help that teammate Nikola Mirotic went off for 28 points. However, as long as he's getting the minutes, he'll be worth owning in standard leagues.
Mon Mar 23 201519:21Taj Gibson: (Ankle) Probable For Monday
Gibson (ankle) is listed as probable for Monday's contest against the Hornets, the Bulls' official site reports.
Gibson was sidelined from Feb. 27 through Mar. 20 due to an injured left ankle, but in two games since his return, he's logged 11 and 19 minutes. With Joakim Noah sidelined due to general soreness Monday, Gibson should be afforded an even greater workload in the Eastern Conference matchup.
Sat Mar 21 201516:23Gibson listed as probable for Saturday's game against Detroit
Gibson is listed as probable for Saturday's game against Detroit, K.C Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Gibson returned to action Friday after missing nearly a month with an ankle injury. He only played 11 minutes against the Raptors, but should be able to play the second half of a back-to-back set Saturday. It may take a couple games for Gibson to see big minutes given his long absence and Nikola Mirotic's recent production on offense. That said, Gibson's defensive prowess should give him a minutes boost moving forward.

Gibson (ankle) returned to action Friday, his first appearance since February 27. He came off the bench to score six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 FT), grab three rebounds, and add one assist and one steal in 11 minutes against the Raptors.
Gibson was limited in his first game in nearly a month. He was effective with the time he had, which is a good sign for his ability to return to full strength in the near future. As his workload increases, the Bulls' other big men, especially Nikola Mirotic, may see a decrease in value.
Fri Mar 20 201519:50Gibson (ankle) active for Friday's game against Raptors
Gibson (ankle) is active for Friday's game against the Raptors, although it's still unclear if he'll actually take the court, Matt Devlin of Raptors TV reports.
Gibson was not listed on the pregame injury report so there seems to be somewhat of a chance that he'll play after being sidelined for the entire month of March thus far. However, Gibson will likely be limited upon his eventual return to the court, so expectations should be curbed until he has a couple of games under his belt.

Coach Tom Thibodeau said Gibson (ankle) looks like he may be able to play Friday, Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago reports.
Gibson, who has been putting in full practices of late, was a participant in Friday's shootaround, and Thibodeau remarked that if he's able to go through warmups without issue, he'll likely be available off the bench. While Thibodeau is known for assigning heavy workloads, Gibson will likely see somewhat limited minutes in his first game back.
