Philadelphia 76ers guards James Harden and Tyrese Maxey will both receive a rest night against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. They'll most likely get another rest day for their final game after this as well, but if there are any fantasy managers still in their championship game, then the bench players are calling. Since De'Anthony Melton is doubtful, Shake Milton, Danuel House Jr., and even Furkan Korkmaz could be seeing some extra minutes on the court.

The league's assists leader keeps showing off great playmaking ability and has now notched double-digit assists in six of his last seven appearances. The run includes a 20-assist performance. Harden's shooting was very disappointing on Friday, but he should bounce back in Saturday's matchup versus Indiana if he doesn't get rested.

During a comeback win over Cleveland on Wednesday, he put up 28 points, 12 assists, six rebounds, and three steals on 8-for-18 shooting. He added three made shots from deep and went 9-for-12 from the line as well. He still leads the league in assists per game and is one of only four players that are averaging 10 or more assists per contest.

It was a poor shooting night for Harden, who finished 1-for-6 from three-point land, but he showed off incredible playmaking ability and recorded his second game of the season with 20-plus assists with only one turnover. The Beard continues to lead the league with 10.8 assists per game and has posted 21.9 points with 6.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals.

Harden had a chance to win the game for his team but missed a triple in the closing seconds. He was 3-for-8 overall from downtown and 5-for-14 from the field with a 7-for-8 record at the foul line. In 39 minutes, Harden added six rebounds and two steals to his tally with four turnovers. The Beard continues to lead the league in assists and has totaled 27 double-doubles across 44 appearances. He produced seven double-doubles across 11 February appearances and finished the month averaging 22.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.4 steals.

Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden spearheaded a huge second-half comeback over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night. The 33-year-old finished the game with 31 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and two blocks while shooting 10-for-16 from the floor, 6-for-9 from deep, and 5-for-7 from the line. Multiple times in the fourth quarter, Harden hit big shots to keep the Sixers within arm's reach until they eventually took the lead. He's done a great job at keeping the turnovers relatively low while leading the league in assists and shooting the best three-point percentage mark in his career.

The NBA trade deadline has officially come and gone and we had one of the most active deadlines in recent memory with some big stars being dealt. As hectic as this year's NBA trade deadline has been, with 28 out of the 30 teams making at least one trade, early Thursday morning at 1:00 am, a blockbuster trade went down that not many expected. However, if you had read my previous article, you could have gotten a glimpse of the future thanks to my magic ball, as the first "potential trade" I wrote about was sending Kevin Durant to none other than the Pheonix Suns.Kevin Durant is undeniably a top-three player and arguably even the best in the NBA right now. It's not surprising to hear how stunned the NBA world was after seeing this trade, as the Suns sold a huge chunk of their future for the Nets superstar but were somehow saved from involving Deandre Ayton in the trade!Any average NBA fan knows how much of an impact future Hall of Famer Kevin Durant has on any team, but to emphasize just how much, check this out: The Suns went from odds of +1800 of winning the finals to +450 on Thursday morning after the huge trade, now only behind the Boston Celtics, who lead the race with their odds being +350.

Durant (knee) has been sidelined for over a month after getting hurt on January 8 against the Miami Heat and remains without a timetable to return to make his debut with the Suns. Before getting hurt, the 13-time All-Star was averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 0.8 steals, 1.8 blocks, and 36 minutes in 39 appearances this season.
