The Rangers will not tender Rosales a contract, making him a free agent.
He was forced into more action than he was probably ready for last season due to all of the injuries ahead of him on the depth chart. In 181 plate appearances, Rosales slashed .262/.328/.378 with four home runs and four steals. He should be able to catch on with another team, but with second base a position of significant depth for the Rangers, he was not needed in Texas for 2015.
