Guerra (knee) was transferred from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list Wednesday.
Guerra was claimed off by the Indians after being DFA'd in late July, but the claim was rescinded after a pre-existing left knee injury was detected. He was later placed on the disabled list, and has now been transferred to the 60-day DL to open up a spot on the 40-man roster for Pedro Florimon, who's contract was selected Wednesday.

Guerra was claimed off waivers by the Indians on Wednesday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com
The Pirates designated Guerra for assignment last week to make room for Joakim Soria after the right-hander posted a 6.48 ERA in 16.2 innings with the big club. Guerra was, however, the victim of some bad luck -- he had a .438 opponents' BABIP and 27.8% HR/FB rate. His peripherals (9.2 K/9, 1.6 BB/9) suggest he's pitched much better than the surface numbers would indicate.
