Ramirez's contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

Ramirez, who was acquired from Arizona at the deadline, will join the 40-man roster and slot into the Mariners' bullpen to add some right-handed depth over the final few weeks of the season. In order to clear a spot on the roster, the team transferred Charlie Furbush (biceps) to the 60-day DL.
