Thu Apr 7 201115:22Barbosa a game-time call Friday
Leandro Barbosa (finger) is listed as a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Sixers.
Barbosa is traveling to Philly, so he has a chance to play. And with Jose Calderon (hamstring) out, Barbosa would get significant burn if active. We'll know more after Friday morning's shootaround.

Tue Apr 5 201118:43Leandro Barbosa to sit out Tuesday night
Leandro Barbosa (finger) is out for Tuesday night's game against the Knicks.
It's too bad that he can't give it a go as he's actually been playing quite well as of late for his owners, averaging 16.6 points over his last five. DeMar DeRozan will see likely see more minutes and increased production as a result.

Tue Apr 5 201111:33Barbosa suddenly a game-time call
Leandro Barbosa (undisclosed) is listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
We suspect this is related to Barbosa's ongoing ankle issues. He has actually been hot of late, averaging 16.6 points on 52.3 percent shooting over the last five games. Barbosa's official status won't be known until just before tip tonight.

Sun Apr 3 201100:12Barbosa scores 18 points off the bench
Leandro Barbosa scored 18 points off the bench on Saturday, hitting 8-of-15 shots from the field (no threes) with one rebound, one assist, and two steals in 28 minutes.
This is a pretty normal night for him, and it appears his ankle woes are behind him. He should be owned in most 12-team formats.

Sun Mar 27 201101:26Barbosa scores 14 despite ankle injury
Leandro Barbosa played through his sore ankle Saturday and had 14 points, six dimes, two steals and a 3-pointer on 5-of-13 shooting in 32 minutes.
The fact he played so many minutes is a good sign for his anlke, while LB has scored 14 or more in eight of his last nine games.

Sat Mar 26 201117:20Leandro Barbosa game-time w/ sore ankle
Leandro Barbosa is questionable for Saturday's game due to his sore ankle.
It seems as though Barbosa has been banged up all season, so this is nothing new. If you're running him out there, the upside is that his stock gets a boost due to Jose Calderon's balky hamstring.

Sat Mar 26 201104:37Barbosa (ankle) plays on Friday vs. GSW
Leandro Barbosa played through ankle soreness on Friday against the Warriors, scoring 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds and no other statistics in 25 minutes off the bench.
The matchup was great and he didn't appear to be too hurt, and unlike previous games with similar production, the 25 minutes is an upgrade. Barbosa should be owned in most leagues after his recent push, and things could improve if Jose Calderon's hamstring injury is at all serious.

Fri Mar 25 201121:51Barbosa (ankle) to play on Friday vs. GSW
Leandro Barbosa (ankle) will play on Friday against the Warriors.
The matchup is good, but his situation is not, so owners will be taking a risk by using him one way or another. Add into the mix that he isn't getting much playing time and owners should weigh their options carefully.

Fri Mar 25 201115:55Barbosa (ankle) game-time vs. Warriors
Leandro Barbosa will be a game-time decision vs. the Warriors on Friday due to a sore left ankle.
His absence would be a rude blow to fantasy owners, as a date with the Warriors promises plenty of easy scoring (witness Houston's 131-point outburst on Wednesday). Check back closer to tipoff for an update.

Thu Mar 24 201102:08Barbosa scores 14 in loss
Leandro Barbosa had 14 points and two 3-pointers on 6-of-11 shooting in Wednesday's loss against his former team, the Suns.
He played 22 minutes tonight and we were hoping for more against his former team. His minutes have been down lately and unless he starts getting 25 per game again, he's going to be a tough guy to start in fantasy leagues.

Tue Mar 22 201104:08Barbosa's low minutes strikes in 5-pt game
Leandro Barbosa got away with playing low minutes in Sunday's 19-point effort, but it bit him in the posterior in Monday's blowout loss, as he scored just five points on 2-of-11 shooting (no threes) with one rebound and no other statistics in 17 minutes.
Well, the minutes weren't the only problem, but we'd imagine he'd be under less stress to shoot with a bigger workload, but whatever the case may be it's a bad start to the week. And until he starts playing north of 25 mpg, we'd recommend benching and/or dropping him unless he's tearing it up.

Mon Mar 21 201108:52Barbosa scores 19 points in 14 minutes
Leandro Barbosa stayed hot on Sunday, scoring 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting with three 3-pointers in a surprising win over the Thunder.
Foul trouble held Barbosa to just 14 minutes, although he was still around at crunch time when he hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 38.5 seconds left and then assisted Amir Johnson on a layup to seal with win with 1.4 seconds remaining. The Raptors snapped a 14-game road losing streak, as well as the Thunder's six-game winning streak. Despite last night's foul trouble and low minutes, Barbosa still looks like a nice play this week.

Fri Mar 18 201123:17Barbosa stays hot in win over Wiz
Leandro Barbosa had 15 points and three 3-pointers in Friday's win.
He's scored between 15 and 22 points in five of his last six games, with 12 threes, while the Raptors play four games next week. He's not the most reliable player around, but is playing well enough right now to roll the dice on.

Wed Mar 16 201122:44Leandro Barbosa scores 18 in loss
Leandro Barbosa had 18 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and a three on 7-of-16 shooting Wednesday.
He's rolling again and is worth a look in all leagues, especially with four games next week.

Sun Mar 13 201117:28Barbosa falters from floor in Sunday loss
Leandro Barbosa racked up 15 points but shot poorly going 6-of-18 from the floor with two 3-pointers, an assist, a steal, and three turnovers.
It was a weak performance all things considered if you're in a percentage or turnover league. He's been complaining about his back recently and it's possible that it may have contributed to his poor shooting performance.

Sun Mar 13 201110:24Barbosa slowed by sore back for Raptors
Leandro Barbosa is dealing with a "very sore back" but does not appear to be in danger of missing any games.
We'll keep an eye on LB's status, but we're not too concerned since he is, after all, coming off a season-high 29 points vs. the Pacers on Friday.

Fri Mar 11 201122:22Barbosa catches fire off Raptors bench
Leandro Barbosa racked up 29 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 12-of-21 shooting in 26 minutes on Friday.
He was on fire tonight and scored 22 on Sunday. It looks like it's time to pick him up if you've got a player you've been wanting to cut.

Sat Mar 5 201118:38Barbosa gets hot, finishes with 22 pts
Leandro Barbosa got hot in OT for the Raptors and finished Sunday's comeback victory with 22 points on 7-of-12 FGs, 3-of-5 threes, and 5-of-5 FTs.
Before you get too excited, consider that in his past three games LB had scored nine, zero, and eight points. He does virtually nothing beyond scoring and has minimal fantasy appeal coming off the bench.

Wed Mar 2 201100:52Barbosa goes scoreless against the Hornets
Leandro Barbosa hit rock-bottom on Tuesday against the Hornets, going scoreless on two field goal attempts with one rebound, one assist, and one block in 19 minutes.
He was slowly crawling back onto the radar, but can now be safely ignored with this outing. We don't know if one of his injuries is lingering, but it really doesn't matter if he's capable of putting up a donut.
