Barbosa suffered a knee injury earlier this week and was limited to four minutes Tuesday night before being unavailable for a game Wednesday. In his place, Brandon Rush has picked up some extra playing time.

Barbosa (knee) played four minutes in Tuesday night's win over the Heat. He had sprained his knee in the Warriors' previous game and was considered probable to play against Miami.
The playing time was well below average for Barbosa, who is averaging 16 minutes per game. It appears head coach Steve Kerr is bringing him along slowly. Much of Barbosa's normal playing time was given to Brandon Rush (12 minutes).

Barbosa (knee) is considered probable for Tuesday's game against the Heat, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Barbosa is dealing with a sprained knee suffered Sunday against the Thunder, when he was limited to only six minutes. It sounds like he's on track to play Tuesday, but he's a risky daily play, as he hasn't scored in double-figures in six straight games.
Mon Nov 24 201409:25Barbosa (knee) questionable to play Tuesday against Miami
Barbosa (knee) is questionable to play Tuesday against Miami, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The Warriors play on back-to-back days Tuesday and Wednesday before a day off Thursday and a return to action Friday in Charlotte. Barbosa is risky for those in weekly formats, as he may be limited even if he's able to play during the upcoming week.

Barbosa sprained his knee Sunday against the Thunder and will not return to the game, Diamond Leung of Bay Area News Group reports.
Barbosa came off the bench to play only six minutes before exiting. In that time, he recorded one point, a rebound and a steal. He'll be evaluated by team doctors, and a clearer return timetable should be available Monday. At this point, consider Barbosa unlikely to play Tuesday in Miami.
Sun Nov 9 201423:09Barbosa started with Klay Thompson (hand) currently sidelined
Barbosa started with Klay Thompson (hand) currently sidelined. He scored 12 points (5-of-8 FG, 2-of3 3Pt) to go along with 2 rebounds and one block.
The increase in minutes won't be for long if Thompson comes back soon, but Barbosa can provide a slight scoring boost for the time being. The shooting guard position is an important part of Golden State's offense, so Barbosa should be enjoying a lot of touches at the very least to facilitate any production.

Barbosa will get the start Sunday against the Suns in the absence of Klay Thompson (hand), Matt Petersen of Suns.com reports.
Thompson is apparently nursing a sprained hand, so he'll sit out Sunday's contest, allowing Barbosa to make his first NBA start since the 2012-13 season. At this time, it's unknown how much time Thompson could miss, but Barbosa should see an increased role in the short-term. The 31-year-old had six points and three rebounds in 18 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday.

Barbosa scored 13 points (5-of-7 FG, 1-of-2 3Pt, 2-of-2 FT) in 18 minutes in Wednesday night's win over the Clippers. That's two straight games with double-digit scoring.
Barbosa has been Golden State's leading scorer off the bench, averaging 9.8 points on 57 percent shooting through four games. He's getting off seven shots in 16 minutes per game. If you're looking for some help in the points category, Barbosa appears to be filling the role as second-unit scorer for the Warriors.

Barbosa scored four points (2-of-4 FT, 0-of-1 3Pt) with one rebound, one assist and one blocked shot in 14 minutes in Wednesday night's win over the Kings.
The playing time Barbosa got Wednesday is probably on the upper end we should expect. Once Shaun Livingston (toe, four minutes) is ready for increased run and Brandon Rush (back) returns, Barbosa's playing time could take a hit.
Sat Oct 25 201405:04Barbosa scored 15 points (5-of-8 FG, 2-of-2 3Pt, 3-of-2 FT) in 1...
Barbosa scored 15 points (5-of-8 FG, 2-of-2 3Pt, 3-of-2 FT) in 14 minutes in Friday night's preseason finale against Denver.
The Warriors didn't push Barbosa during the preseason after he logged heavy minutes for Brazil in the FIBA World Cup. Friday night's was his most extensive and productive outing of camp. It looks like he'll be part of the rotation, particularly with Brandon Rush nursing lower back spasms.

Barbosa had eight points in 18 minutes in Tuesday's preseason opener before Thursday's DNP. The minutes he got Tuesday went to Brandon Rush (16 minutes, eight points) on Thursday.
Thu Aug 28 201414:13Barbosa has reached agreement to sign with Warriors
Barbosa has reached an agreement to sign with the Warriors, ESPN reports.
The veteran will sign a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum after spending part of last season with the Suns. The 31-year-old appeared in only 20 games, averaging 7.5 points in 18.4 minutes before a hand injury in early March ended his season. Barbosa will provide depth in the backcourt and should open up as the third or fourth shooting guard. He'll be in competition with Brandon Rush and Shaun Livingston for minutes.
Wed Apr 2 201420:25Leandro Barbosa ditches cast on hand
Leandro Barbosa has ditched the cast on his hand in favor of a brace.
It's a sign of tangible progress for the artist formerly known as the Brazilian Blur. Barbosa was slapped with a 4-6 week table after fracturing his hand in early March and is now targeting the playoffs for his return. He won't travel with the Suns to Portland Friday.

Wed Jan 8 201417:43Suns sign G Leandro Barbosa
Suns sign G Leandro Barbosa.
The 10-day deal brings Barbosa back to Phoenix, where he spent the first seven years of his career. He appears to be recovered from the torn ACL he suffered last February. Barbosa has averaged 15.9 points and 3.1 assists in eight games for Sao Paulo-based Pinheiros/Sky of the Brazilian League this season. Barbosa shouldn't have much fantasy value, but owners should monitor the situation in case Eric Bledsoe's knee injury continues to linger.

Wed Jan 8 201412:20Leandro Barbosa to sign 10-day contract
Leandro Barbosa is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Suns on Wednesday.
He had to wait for clearance from FIBA before making it official. The 31-year-old guard gives Phoenix some depth and backcourt insurance while Eric Bledoe (knee) is on the mend, but he's unlikely to give fantasy owners more than a handful of points.

Sun Jan 5 201416:35Suns planning to sign Leandro Barbosa
The Suns are planning to sign free agent Leandro Barbosa to a 10-day contract.
NBA teams can start signing players to 10-day deals starting on Monday, so nothing will be official until then. Barbosa played a career-low 12.5 minutes per game while with the Celtics last season and the 31-year-old guard has lost a step or two. The Suns are likely just making this move to give them some depth with Eric Bledsoe out for at least one week. He's not worth owning in almost any league.

Wed Nov 20 201309:13Leandro Barbosa agrees to sign in Brazil
Leandro Barbosa has agreed to sign with the team Pinheiros in his native Brazil, and the deal would allow him to leave for the NBA.
Barbosa, 30 years old, is coming off ACL surgery but reportedly aims to sign another NBA contract "as soon as possible." He could earn a minimum deal as a bench scorer and extra ball-handler, assuming his knee holds up, but his days of fantasy relevance are over.

Thu Aug 22 201310:11Barbosa (ACL) resumes on-court workouts
Free agent G Leandro Barbosa (ACL surgery) has resumed on-court workouts.
The 30-year-old guard averaged 13 minutes in 41 games for the Celtics last year and it's uncertain whether any team will give him guaranteed money at this stage of his career. Even if he does land a new deal, he's no longer a fantasy consideration.

Sat Jul 20 201309:23Agent: Leandro Barbosa has offer from Mavs
Leandro Barbosa does not plan to return to Brazil next season and has an offer from the Mavs, his agent told a Brazilian media outlet.
Barbosa, who is recovering from a torn ACL, finished out the season with the Wizards as part of the Jordan Crawford trade. Barbosa isn't a lock to be ready to start season and any NBA deal he gets would likely be highly conditional. It's also unclear how Barbosa would fit in Dallas given the state of their current backcourt.
