Tue Nov 13 201222:04Ramon Sessions scores 21 off bench
Ramon Sessions scored 21 points and added five rebounds, two assists and a 3-pointer on 7-of-18 shooting in Tuesday's easy win over Washington.
Surprisingly, he's scored in double figures in every game this season and saw a boost with Ben Gordon out for a family emergency tonight. Sessions is worth owning in most leagues for now.

Sat Nov 10 201222:52Sessions and Gordon splitting time at SG
Ramon Sessions scored 12 points with three boards, four assists and four turnovers in 22 minutes in Saturday's victory over the Mavericks.
Sessions has been a little quiet even with Gerald Henderson out of the lineup. Kemba Walker's fantastic play so far has also practically eliminated of Sessions taking the starting job. He's worth owning in most formats, but he's not exactly a must-have guard in standard leagues.

Sat Nov 10 201203:29Sessions looking good still for the Bobcats
Ramon Sessions hit 4-of-8 shots (0-for-2 3PTs, 5-of-6 FTs) for 13 points with four assists in 24 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Sessions didn't blow up the box score but he's still getting high marks for his play. If an impatient owner cut the backup PG with Ben Gordon towering over him tonight, he is well worth consideration as a pickup.

Wed Nov 7 201221:59Ramon Sessions has big game off bench
Ramon Sessions had 17 points, nine assists and a 3-pointer off the bench in Wednesday's loss.
He played 35 minutes and hit just 2-of-10 shots, but also knocked down 12-of-14 free throws, and looks like a great player to add with Gerald Henderson out with a foot injury. Ben Gordon added 12 points, five assists, a steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers, but Sessions looks like the better player to grab off waivers at this point.

Wed Nov 7 201218:01Ramon Sessions will remain bench option
Mike Dunlap says Ramon Sessions and Ben Gordon will continue to come off the bench despite Gerald Henderson's foot injury.
Dunlap expects to start either Matt Carroll or Jeff Taylor in Henderson's absence, but that doesn't mean Sessions won't see more time. The former Laker scored 22 points in 28 minutes Saturday and could gain standard league value if his playing time continues toward the 30-minute-plus mark.

Sun Nov 4 201203:37Ramon Sessions scores 22 points off bench
Ramon Sessions scored 22 points in 28 minutes off the bench on Saturday, making 8-of-13 FGs with four rebounds, five assists and one turnover.
Sessions got more burn than usual because Gerald Henderson left in the third quarter with a sprained foot, and it's nice to see him take advantage of the opportunity. He's not likely to crack 30 minutes unless Henderson misses a few games, so keep an eye on the Bobcats' injury report.

Thu Oct 25 201214:45Sessions starts at SG, struggles w/ shot
Ramon Sessions started at shooting guard Thursday and hit 4-of-16 shots for eight points, three rebounds, five assists and a steal in 35 minutes.
It appears the Bobcats were experimenting with Sessions and Kemba Walker playing alongside each other. While it's possible Sessions could start at SG on opening night, it doesn't appear to be a likely scenario. Even if coming off the bench, he's going to see plenty of minutes at both guard spots and is worth a late-round fantasy pick in most drafts.

Tue Oct 23 201221:47Ramon Sessions delivers off the bench
Ramon Sessions scored 24 points and added four rebounds, three assists and one steal while coming off the bench Tuesday vs. the Heat.
Sessions also turned the ball over twice in almost 28 minutes of action. While Kemba Walker is currently entrenched as the Bobcats' starting point guard, a solid preseason could help Sessions push for playing time.

Wed Oct 17 201200:15Sessions has a big night in start on Tuesday
Ramon Sessions looked good in his start on Tuesday with 18 points, four boards, seven assists and a steal in 34 minutes.
Kemba Walker got some rest tonight and Sessions held the reins to the vaunted Charlotte offense. Sarcasm aside, Sessions is likely going to come off the bench with Kemba Walker being the starting point guard.

Fri Aug 31 201210:12Ramon Sessions looking like backup PG for now
Ramon Sessions may be headed for a reserve role behind Kemba Walker for the 2012-13 season.
The Charlotte Observer calls Walker "the starter," so despite Sessions' overtures to sign with a team where he'd be the starter, he may be coming off the bench behind Walker when the season begins. Sessions had some nice games for the Lakers after being traded to L.A. at the deadline, but he really struggled down the stretch and in the postseason. He averaged 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists last season.

Fri Jul 13 201219:00Sessions signs with Bobcats on Friday
The Bobcats officially signed PG Ramon Sessions on Friday.
The deal is reported to be for two years and $5 million each year. Sessions has said he only wanted to sign with a team where he would start at PG, but early reports have said that Kemba Walker would be the starter. Sessions has been a very solid fantasy contributor when on bad teams, so he is someone to keep an eye on.

Thu Jul 12 201214:46Bobcats agree to sign PG Ramon Sessions
The Bobcats have reached an agreement in principle to sign free agent PG Ramon Sessions.
Sessions has said he only wanted to sign with a team where he would be the starter, so it's our guess that A. he'll start over Kemba Walker, and B. D.J. Augustin will be traded - possibly to the Pacers - or have his qualifying offer rescinded and become an unrestricted free agent. Sessions has a history of posting gaudy fantasy numbers for bad teams, making him an interesting sleeper pick. He averaged 13 points and six dimes for the Lakers last season, but should be even better if he is the starting PG in Charlotte.

Thu Jul 12 201213:30Report: Bobcats finalizing deal for Sessions
The Bobcats are in the process of finalizing a deal for free agent point guard Ramon Sessions.
Sessions wants to be a starter and this move would clear the way for Charlotte to trade D.J. Augustin to the Pacers. It's possible another team could come in and get Augustin instead of the Pacers, but there was talk late Wednesday that the two sides were working on a deal. Sessions averaged nearly 13 points and six assists for the Lakers in 23 games last season, but would likely score more in Charlotte.

Thu Jul 12 201208:37Bobcats now targeting Sessions, Haywood
The Bobcats are said to be very interested in free agent PG Ramon Sessions and C Brendan Haywood, who is being waived by the Mavericks.
The Bobcats are also said to be in negotiations with the Pacers in a possible sign-and-trade that would send PG D.J. Augustin to Indy, while they'd have to claim Haywood off amnesty waivers. In any case, it appears that Augustin may be on his way out in Charlotte, and Sessions would make for a suitable replacement.

Sun Jul 8 201218:38Ramon Sessions, Mavs to talk again Monday
Free agent Ramon Sessions is interested in the possibility of starting at PG for the Rockets or Mavericks, and is expected to continue talking with Dallas on Monday.
The Mavs would reportedly give Sessions flexibility in terms of the contract's length -- they're probably getting desperate for a PG after striking out on Deron Williams and Jason Kidd.

Fri Jul 6 201221:15Mavs, Rockets pursuing Ramon Sessions
The Rockets have joined the Mavs in their pursuit of free agent PG Ramon Sessions.
Sessions is looking for a starting job and security, and both squads are reeling at the PG position. The Mavs are also looking at Aaron Brooks, Randy Foye, O.J. Mayo, Raymond Felton and Kirk Hinrich, so landing Sessions would be a huge win at this stage of the game.

Thu Jul 5 201219:36Mavs reach out to free agent Ramon Sessions
The Mavs reached out to free agent PG Ramon Sessions on Thursday.
This is actually the second time they've reached out to him, but now they can pitch a starting job with little competition according to ESPN's Jeff Caplan. This indicates the team may have moved on from their pursuit of Jeremy Lin.

Wed Jul 4 201221:26Free agent Sessions could end up with Suns
Free agent PG Ramon Sessions is now a possible target for the Suns, according to Sam Amico.
Ironically, Sessions opted out with the Lakers after coming over from Cleveland last season, and could end up being Steve Nash's replacement, after the Suns traded Nash to the Lakers on Wednesday.

Sun Jul 1 201203:05Lakers want Sessions, PGs in free agency
The Lakers reportedly reached out to PG Ramon Sessions as free agency kicked off on Sunday morning.
They're also said to be interested in Chauncey Billups, Jameer Nelson and Kirk Hinrich, and it looks like finding a starting point guard is a priority for the Lakers - as it should be.

Fri Jun 29 201209:52Kupchak admits importance of Ramon Sessions
Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak said that he will reach out to unrestricted free agent Ramon Sessions' representatives as soon as free agency begins.
If Sessions bolts for a new team, the Lakers are going to be in a new mess of trouble as the club will have to continue to look for an answer to fill its point guard void. Sessions looked rather timid in the postseason and his decision to opt out of his contract has surprised some around the league.
