Sat Mar 22 201414:32Larry Drew prefers to keep Sessions on bench
Coach Larry Drew said he would prefer to keep Ramon Sessions on the bench.
Nate Wolters (hand) is out for the season and Drew said he's still not sure who to start at shooting guard. Unless O.J. Mayo has somehow worked his way back into the good graces of the coach, Giannis Antetokounmpo really seems like the only option. Sessions still looks like a great grab in fantasy leagues since he'll be extremely busy as the second-unit point guard while also getting significant burn next to Brandon Knight in the fourth quarter.

Fri Mar 21 201401:19Ramon Sessions scores 18 off the bench
Ramon Sessions scored 18 points off the bench against the Warriors on Thursday with four boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.
Nate Wolters went down with a broken hand tonight and Sessions figures to get the bulk of those lost minutes for the Bucks. He's scored at least 18 points in three straight and it would be a surprise to see his minutes dip below 33 or so. Sessions should be very productive in points and free throw percentage while also adding some treys, steals and dimes, so he's worth owning in all standard formats.

Wed Mar 19 201401:28Ramon Sessions scores 23 points off bench
Ramon Sessions came off the bench and hit 8-of-16 shots and a 3-pointer for 23 points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal in 35 minutes on Tuesday.
Sessions is hot, averaging 14.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 0.8 3-pointers over his last five games. If you're holding starter Nate Wolters (4 points), dumping him for Sessions makes sense.

Sun Mar 16 201415:36Ramon Sessions drops 18 points vs. old team
Ramon Sessiosn had his best game with the Bucks this season vs. his old team on Sunday, scoring 18 points with six assists and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.
He shot 7-of-14 from the field and did his usual thing by going to the basket. The Bucks went with some three-guard lineups today and didn't get much help from their frontcourt in the loss. Sessions minutes have held steady at 27.8 per game over his last five, averaging 13.2 points, 5.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.6 triples. That's a serviceable line on the end of a standard-league bench.

Wed Mar 12 201400:24Ramon Sessions scores 11 in Bucks loss
Ramon Sessions hit 4-of-11 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal off the bench in Wednesday's loss.
Sessions cooled off slightly, but he's scored in double digits in four straight games, averaging 13.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.8 steals over his last five. If you're desperate for a point guard, or own Mo Williams (hip injury), Sessions and Will Bynum are both worth a look, despite coming off their team's bench.

Tue Mar 11 201400:47Sessions goes for 16 and eight vs. Magic
Ramon Sessions scored 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting (6-of-6 FTs) with two rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 26 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Magic.
Naturally his numbers improved playing against a bad team in the Magic, but it's worth noting that Sessions continues to emerge as one of the team's more reliable players. He's still a deep league value on a per-game basis, but if he does something similar in the next one we might change that assessment. Fat O.J. Mayo played four minutes tonight.

Sun Mar 9 201400:05Ramon Sessions scores 14 points off bench
Ramon Sessions scored 14 points off the bench during Saturday's loss to the Wizards to go with two boards, one assist and one steal in 22 minutes.
He played down the stretch and he shot 4-of-11 from the field. The Bucks have been using him as a sixth man and he's played a lot of guard next two Brandon Knight in his time with his new teammates. Sessions doesn't really take 3-pointers and his field goal shooting isn't great, so there isn't really enough upside to keep him owned in most formats.

Mon Mar 3 201423:25Sessions scores 14 points in 24 minutes
Ramon Sessions scored 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting (6-of-6 FTs) with four rebounds and four assists in 24 minutes off the bench in Monday's blowout win over the Jazz.
Sessions has put up some useful games over the last week or so but there is so much upheaval in the rotation and along with tonight's loosely contested game there are a number of red flags. He's a low-upside speculative add best suited for deeper formats.

Sat Mar 1 201423:54Ramon Sessions hit 11-of-11 free throws
Ramon Sessions came off the bench for 16 points, one assist and a 3-pointer on 2-of-5 shooting in 23 minutes.
He was 11-of-11 from the free throw line and his arrival appears to have ruined Nate Wolters, who had seven points and one assist in 19 minutes. Wolters has scored a total of 17 points over his last four games, and while Sessions is hurting him, we can't really get on board with recommending Sessions for a pick up, either.

Thu Feb 27 201422:24Ramon Sessions plays 27 minutes vs. Pacers
Ramon Sessions played 27 minutes against the Pacers on Thursday with 13 points, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.
Coach Larry Drew played his newest guard at shooting guard quite a bit and Lance Stephenson ate the Bucks up a little bit tonight. Sessions is really a terrific fit in Milwaukee's offense, so his deficiencies on defense don't seem quite as bad. That said, he doesn't shoot 3-pointers too often, so he' won't really have much value in standard leagues with minutes in the 20s.

Mon Feb 24 201422:13Sessions scores 16 points in big line
Ramon Sessions scored 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting with four rebounds, five assists and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Sixers.
Larry Drew rolled with his second unit and we wouldn't be surprised if the garbage time score early on had nothing to do with it, but it's hard to get behind anybody in Milwaukee that isn't getting it done with some consistency. Sessions has as good of a chance as anybody to rise to the top, but betting on it by cutting a player with consistent value isn't the right play yet in standard formats.

Sat Feb 22 201423:30Ramon Sessions gets 23 minutes in Bucks debut
Ramon Sessions made his season debut with the Bucks on Saturday with seven points, three boards, one assist and one turnover on 1-of-5 shooting.
It wasn't the best debut, but getting 23 minutes with little knowledge of the system is a good sign. The Bucks are 27th in the league in free throw attempts and really could use a guy like Sessions who can get in the lane. Bobcats coach Steve Clifford liked playing Sessions at shooting guard, so he might have the same fate with the Bucks. He's worth a look in deeper leagues.

Sat Feb 22 201418:59Ramon Sessions and Jeff Adrien ready to go
Ramon Sessions and Jeff Adrien will play against the Pacers on Saturday.
The addition of Sessions is interest for the Bucks. He's a great slashing point guard and could really help collapse defenses, which has been a big issue for their worst-ranked offense. Sessions is only worth a look in deeper leagues for now.

Thu Feb 20 201412:44Sessions, Adrien dealt for Gary Neal, Ridnour
The Bobcats have traded Ramon Sessions and Jeff Adrien to the Bucks for Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour.
The Bucks acquired Sessions for his expiring contract and he should get in the mix for his new team. Brandon Knight hash played well this season, so it's hard to imagine Sessions seeing an expected role. The former Bobcat has played 23.7 minutes per game this season and doesn't shoot treys, so he's not really a strong pickup.

Wed Feb 5 201401:29Ramon Sessions plays 29 minutes off bench
Ramon Sessions hit 2-of-7 shots for six points, two rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes off the Bobcats bench on Tuesday.
Kemba Walker is back, and while Sessions' minutes tonight were encouraging, his performance wasn't. If you picked him up off waivers when Walker went down with his ankle injury eight games ago, it's probably time to send Sessions 'back from whence he came.'

Sun Feb 2 201401:41Ramon Sessions gets Dragic'd in loss
Ramon Sessions shot 3-of-10 from the field for 11 points with one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer during Saturday's 105-95 loss to the Suns.
The worst part of this game for Sessions didn't show up in the box score. Goran Dragic did whatever he wanted and the Suns put this game away somewhat early despite the Bobcats outscoring them 32-15 in the fourth quarter. His fantasy value's shelf life is close to expiring with Kemba Walker (ankle) getting close to returning, so his owners might want to keep their eyes peeled for a new player to add.

Sat Feb 1 201401:42Sessions just misses double-double vs. LAL
Ramon Sessions started again on Friday with Kemba Walker (ankle) still on the shelf, scoring nine points on 3-of-8 shooting with four rebounds and 13 assists.
Sessions got a reprieve after news broke of Walker's setback, and with Walker questionable all the way through Tuesday's game, Sesh owners can hang tight and see how this plays out. He has been a top-100 value over the past two weeks in 8-cat leagues, but in 9-cat formats his 3.0 turnovers per game in that span has submarined his value.

Wed Jan 29 201423:50Ramon Sessions scores 16 points vs. Nuggets
Ramon Sessions played 36 minutes against the Nuggets on Wednesday during a 101- 98 victory, scoring 16 points with four boards, seven assists and two steals.
He hit a couple clutch free throws down the stretch and had some great defense on Randy Foye to force a turnover. Sessions' fantasy value might be taking a hit with Kemba Walker (ankle) targeting a return on Friday, so his fantasy owners might want to have a contingency plan ready for the upcoming weekend.

Sat Jan 25 201401:16Ramon Sessions scores just 12 points
Ramon Sessions was held in check against the Knicks on Friday with 12 points, one rebound and three assists in 30 minutes.
He didn't play in the fourth quarter of the blowout loss and would have likely matched his 36 minutes from Wednesday. Sessions is going to continue running the point while Kemba Walker (ankle) is down despite the Jannero Pargo stepping up his play.

Wed Jan 22 201422:13Ramon Sessions drops 10 & 8 on Clippers
Ramon Sessions hit just 4-of-12 shots but finished with 10 points, two rebounds and eight assists in Wednesday's win over the Clippers.
As long as Kemba Walker is out with his ankle injury, Sessions should be in your lineup. Period.
