Lawson (personal) will play Sunday against the Wizards, the Denver Post reports.

Lawson was arrested early Friday morning under the suspicion of DUI and was held out of Friday night's game against the Celtics as a result. However, it appears that both the Nuggets and the NBA will allow him to play for the time being while they contemplate a possible suspension.

Lawson will not play Friday after being arrested on suspicion of DUI earlier in the day, the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey reports.

He is not suspended, he just is not with the team Friday. Lawson will rejoin the Nuggets on Saturday, and any punishment will be handed out by the league after his case is resolved. Look for Jameer Nelson to get the start at point guard Friday, and it sounds like Lawson will play Sunday against the Wizards, barring league action.

Denver police confirmed the arrest. If the charge sticks, it's obviously an extremely bad look for Lawson, both because of the charge itself and the fact that Denver plays against Boston on Friday. The Nuggets have yet to comment, and his status for Friday's game is not yet known. If Lawson sits, Jameer Nelson should take up a big role at point guard.

Lawson Struggled offensively in Tuesday's loss to the San Antonio Spurs, finishing with four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 33 minutes.

Lawson simply just didn't shoot the ball as many times as he's been used to. He's averaging 13.3 field goal attempts per game, so considering he only shot the ball six times, fantasy owners shouldn't be worried. Expect him to get back towards his season average in shot attempts in Friday's game against the Boston Celtics, which will then allow Lawson to score much closer to the 16.7 points per game average he's had so far this season.

Lawson scored 19 points and had six assists in Monday's loss to Golden State.

The game was essentially over by halftime, but Lawson remained in the game and extended his streak of playing at least 30 minutes to 25 straight games. For the month, Lawson is averaging 20.0 points, 9.3 assists and 4.4 rebounds.

Lawson scored 22 points (7-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT) with three rebounds, seven assists, and two steals during Saturday's loss to the Timberwolves.

Lawson has stepped up his scoring in January, putting up 20 points or more in six out the eight games this month along with four double-doubles. While he leads the league in assists (10.1 assists per game) his low free throw percentage (71.6 percent) and lack of scoring from beyond the arc have him ranked outside the top 10 among point guards this season.

Lawson tied his season high with 29 points in a win over the Mavericks on Wednesday and picked up his 18th double-double of the year by dishing out 12 assists.

Lawson has been one of the top fantasy point guards this season. He's third among all point guards in double-doubles, behind only John Wall and Chris Paul, and he's second in the league in assists through Wednesday's games.

Lawson (knee) left Tuesday's practice early but started Wednesday in Orlando, finishing with 23 points (9-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, five assists, one steal and five turnovers in 34 minutes.

Lawson should be fine after playing close to his regular amount of minutes and having a strong performance. The Nuggets next game is Friday in Sacramento.

Lawson bruised his knee and was unable to finish Tuesday's session. However, the team doesn't see the issue as anything serious, so Lawson remains on track to start Wednesday.

This was Lawson's fourth 20 point night in his last seven games and has really been on a tear, averaging 21.7 points, 1.7 three-pointers, 4.0 rebounds, 8.3 assists on 51 percent shooting in those games.

Lawson (back) scored 18 points (8-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt) to go along with four assists in 31 minutes Monday against the Hornets.

The Nuggets really struggled Monday, but Lawson was one of their lone bright spots. Although his assist total was unusually low, he at least made up for it with a solid scoring effort.

The origin and exact nature of Lawson's back injury is a bit unclear, but it could cause him to miss Monday's game against Hornets. If he is unable to go, Nate Robinson is expected to receive the start in his place.

Lawson leads all point guards in assists over the last 30 days (11.9 assists per game). He is an excellent source of assists and is a moderate source of points. He is a pass-first point guard and his fantasy value is a reflection of his playing style.

Lawson scored 10 points (3-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and added four rebounds, nine assists and three steals in 30 minutes of actin against the Heat on Wednesday.

Lawson finally saw a decrease in minutes after he logged 44 minutes and 49 minutes on back-to-back games. The Nuggets had this game handedly and they didn't need big production from Lawson.

Lawson scored 22 points (8-19 FG, 2-8 3P, 4-6 FT) with 12 assists, six rebounds and two steals in 49 minutes during Monday's OT loss to the Raptors.

The Nuggets' floor general now has double-digit assists in nine straight games, and 11 of 12, and Lawson has pushed his assists per game average on the season above 10.0 with the hot streak. As long as he can stay healthy, he should remain one of the most valuable point guards in the league.

Lawson has been just lighting it up recently, and is a double-double machine. Fantasy owners are getting all that they hoped for and more with him so far in 2014.

Lawson scored 15 points (6-15 FG, 0-1 3P, 3-5 FT) with 12 assists, four rebounds and two steals in 39 minutes during Monday's win over the Jazz.

Seven different Nuggets scored between 10 and 15 points Monday, as Lawson's distribution skills kept the offense humming. He's now recorded a double-double in five straight games, and eight of his last 10.

Lawson scored 17 points, (4-16 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT), with seven rebounds, 12 assists and two steals in 40 minutes during the Nuggets loss to the Suns.

Lawson is now averaging an incredible 12.6 assists over his last six games. He is on a roll right now and owners can only hope he remains healthy.

Lawson had 18 points (5-10 FG, 1-2 3PT, 7-10 FT) to go along with a game high 16 assists in the Nuggets overtime win against the Lakers on Sunday.

This makes the third game in which Ty Lawson has dished out double digit assists, and it is no question that he is the reason behind the Nuggets current winning streak. He shows no signs of slowing down at this point, and he is clearly the most positive thing going right now for Nuggets basketball.
