Bogdanovic (ankle) is probable for Saturday night's game against the Mavericks, Rod Boone of Newsday reports.

Bogdanovic had been previously reported to b not likely to play, so the Nets must have received some good news in the last few hours. This would be the 25-year-old's first game after three straight games missed.

Bogdanovic (ankle) will not play against the Rockets on Friday, The Record reports.

Bogdanovic should be considered day-to-day moving forward with his next opportunity to return from an ankle injury coming against the Mavericks on Saturday.

Bogdanovic (ankle) did not practice Tuesday and has been ruled out for Wednesday's game in New Orleans, Mike Mazzeo of ESPN reports.

Bogdanovic missed Monday's blowout win over the Nuggets, and he'll remain out as he continues to nurse an ankle injury. Consider him questionable for Friday's game, and expect some combination of Alan Anderson, who started Monday, and Thaddeus Young to absorb most of Bogdanovic's minutes.

This is a bit of a bummer, as Bogdanovic had seen 37 minutes in the Nets' last game, and his fantasy value was trending up. Consider him questionable for Wednesday's game, and look for Joe Johnson and Alan Anderson to see all the minutes they can handle on the wing Monday.

Bogdanovic came off the bench for just 13 minutes against the Hawks on Wednesday. He managed to contribute six points, two points, and one assist during that short stint on the hardwood.

Bogdanovic has been moved in and out of the starting lineup this season, but Wednesday's 13-minute outing was a far cry from his normal 22.4 minutes on the court. Although, the 25-year-old rookie was only serviceable in deeper leagues to begin with, and after Wednesday that's even more true as Alan Anderson moved into the starting lineup in place of Bogdanovic.

Bogdanovic will come off the bench Wednesday in Atlanta, the New York Post reports.

Bogdanovic has been replaced, for at least one game, at shooting guard by Alan Anderson. In 16 tilts as a reserve this season, Bogdanovic has mustered just 3.9 points (on 37 percent shooting), 1.5 rebounds, and 0.7 three-pointers in 11 minutes per game.

Bogdanovic was reinserted into the starting lineup and provided 14 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two assists, and one rebound in 27 minutes.

Bogdanovic replaced Sergey Karasev as the starter, a role he relinquished to Karasev on December 10th. As a reserve, Bogdanovic didn't play more than 18 minutes in any game. It's unclear if the move is permanent, especially with the Nets mired in a five-game losing streak.

Bogdanovic scored 0 points (0-1 FG, 0-1 FT), to go along with one rebound, and one steal in 8 minutes on Sunday.

He made his return to the court on Sunday with limited minutes, and didn't really do much in this one. Coach Hollins seems to favor Karasev in the starting lineup, while Bogdanovic is trending the opposite way with DNP-CD's to his name. He can safely be dropped from all leagues until something changes in Brooklyn.

Bogdanovic will likely continue to come off the bench in the near future, Andy Vasquez of The Record reports.

When queried as to why Bogdanovic has come off the bench for the last three games, coach Lionel Hollins said the rookie was "treading water" as a starter and has been more productive off the bench. Prior to the move, Bogdanovic had struggled from the field shooting just 42.3 percent In November while hitting only 32.3 percent of his three-pointers, despite attempting more than four per game. In three games off the bench, Bogdanovic is averaging 7.0 points on a combined 8-of-19 shooting. He'll be a reserve again Tuesday as Sergey Karasev remains in the starting lineup.

Bogdanovic was held scoreless (0-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt) during 17 minutes off the bench against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Bogdanovic played his lowest total minutes of the season as he was moved to the bench for Sergey Karasev on Wednesday. It's still unclear if Bogdanovic is simply in coach Lionel Hollins' doghouse at the moment, or if he'll be coming off the bench in the long term. Either way, the rookie struggled mightily over his last three games and seems to be in a slump regardless of whether or not he's in the starting lineup.

Bogdanovic had scored just a total of 11 points over his previous three games, and it appears he's poised to bounce back to solid double-digit figures. Still, he's averaging just 9.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.4 three-pointers made for the season, and his fantasy value is limited only to 14-man leagues and deeper.

Bogdanovic scored 22 points (8-11 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 41 minutes Monday against the Heat.

Bogdanovic has scored 22 points in a game twice this season, but he has also scored nine points or less six times. He has the ability for the occasional breakout game, but don't expect this from him on a nightly basis.

Bogdanovic came out go the gates shooting on Sunday, leading to a big night from the Yugoslavian. He ended up with 22 points (9-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 32 minutes.

Bogdanovic has served as the team's starting shooting guard to begin the season and has received a steady amount of minutes. However, he hasn't really done too much to wow owners thus far either. Outside of tonight, his scoring has left a lot to be desired, while he isn't considered much of a three-point specialist either. His pedestrian numbers everywhere else makes him a guy to keep an eye on for his minutes, but not much more for the time being.

Now 25 years old, Bogdanovic inked a three-year contract with the Nets this summer and brings maturity to Brooklyn's setup, despite being a rookie. In fact, with the Nets beginning training camp with swingman Joe Johnson starting at small forward, Bogdanovic has played with Brooklyn's first-team unit at shooting guard. While veteran Alan Anderson represents Bogdanovic's primary competition for the starting gig, the 31-year-old came off the bench in 52 of his 78 appearances last season, a role new coach Lionel Hollins may look to maintain. As a result, Bogdanovic could fulfill a significant role for the Nets this season and his progress during the preseason should be worthwhile to monitor.

Bogdanovic spent the past three seasons in the Turkish Basketball League, but the rookie will finally make the trip over to play in the NBA after signing with the Nets in August. On Friday he was mentioned by coach Lionel Hollins as a player that could compete for the starting shooting guard position, which opened up after moving veteran Joe Johnson to small forward. His main competition will be Alan Anderson, who has a full year of experience with the Nets, but Bogdanovic isn't your typical rookie as he's 25 years old and just played extremely well in the FIBA Basketball World Cup games. Once training camp gets underway, we'll see how his game translates.

Bojan Bogdanovic stated during his introductory press conference that he is ready to fight for his minutes in Brooklyn.

"I will fight for my minutes," Bogdanovic said. "But like I told [Lionel Hollins], I think I can help immediately." Despite losing Paul Pierce to free agency, the Nets are still a very deep team, so he will certainly have to fight for his minutes. As it stands right now, it seems it will be difficult for Bogdanovic to earn enough minutes for standard league consideration.

The Nets will introduce Bojan Bogdanovic on Monday.

The 25-year-old forward put up 14.8 points per game in Europe last season and will make the Nets team. Bogdanovic probably won't crack 20 minutes right away with the Nets, but losing out on Paul Pierce opens up some possibilities for him.
