Tue Jan 25 202219:19Bojan Bogdanovic Removed From Injury Report
Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic (finger) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Suns. He was held out of Monday's game as a precaution, but it sounds like he'll return on Wednesday. Bogdanovic has been fitted for a splint, but it's on his non-shooting hand. Donovan Mitchell (concussion) remains out for Wednesday's game, so Bogdanovic's value will get a boost. He'll have decent streaming value heading into this contest. Jordan Clarkson won't be as appealing of a streaming choice with some of the Jazz starters returning on Wednesday.

Sat Jan 8 202218:14Donovan Mitchell, Bojan Bogdanovic Will Return Saturday
Utah Jazz point/shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (back) and small forward Bojan Bogdanovic (finger) have been cleared to get back into action for Saturday's game vs. the Pacers. Mitchell and Bogdanovic were a part of the wholesale absences that forced the Jazz roster to take on a different look Friday; their return zaps Elijah Hughes, Jared Butler, and others of their previous DFS upside. Mitchell missed just one game due to the back ailment and returns to face an Indiana defense that he dropped 26 points against back on Nov. 11. Bogdanovic set new season highs with 36 points and 13 rebounds Wednesday, although he faces a tough matchup vs. a Pacers defense that allows the fewest three-point makes (10.5) per game in the league.

Fri Jan 7 202219:04Jordan Clarkson, Bojan Bogdanovic Will Miss Friday’s Game
Utah Jazz point/shooting guard Jordan Clarkson (back) and small forward Bojan Bogdanovic (finger) are among a group of Jazz players ruled out for Friday's contest against Toronto. Bogdanovic is coming off having dropped a season-high 36 points during Wednesday's win over the Nuggets, while Clarkson will be missing his first contest of the year. With Donovan Mitchell (back), Mike Conley (rest), Rudy Gobert (health and safety protocols), and Royce O'Neale (knee) joining Bogdanovic and Clarkson as inactive, Hassan Whiteside,Eric Paschall, and Jared Butler headline a group that should see a sizable jump in DFS relevance. The next chance that Clarkson or Bogdanovic will have to take the floor comes Saturday vs. the Pacers.

Sat Jan 1 202208:35Bojan Bogdanovic Posts His First Double-Double Of The Year
Utah Jazz small forward Bojan Bogdanovic produced a double-double in Friday's win over the Timberwolves, piling up 24 points and 12 rebounds. He shot 6-for-14 from the field and 3-for-6 from downtown with a perfect 9-for-9 effort at the foul line. Bogdanovic also had two assists with five turnovers in 34 minutes. The Croatian sniper showed off hot hands throughout December, hitting nearly 47 percent of his shots from three-point range. The Jazz will definitely need his scoring again on Saturday against the Warriors. Golden State has limited opponents to just 32.6 percent three-point shooting this season, so this is a very tricky matchup for Bogdanovic.

Thu Dec 9 202108:54Bojan Bogdanovic Comes Through With 21 Points Wednesday
Utah Jazz small forward Bojan Bogdanovic somehow ended up with a minus-six rating in Wednesday's blowout win over Minnesota, despite scoring 21 points on a very good 8-for-14 shooting while having no turnovers in 28 minutes of action. He shot 4-for-9 from three-point range and pulled down five boards. The Croatian sniper is hitting a sizzling 48 percent from deep this month. The whole team had a great night from downtown as well on Wednesday, going 25-for-54. Utah will now face the Sixers, against whom Bogdanovic scored a season-high 27 points on Nov. 16, so it looks like a favorable matchup for him.

Wed Nov 17 202103:33Bojan Bogdanovic Leads Jazz With Season-High 27 Points
In a blowout 120-85 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic led his team in scoring. In 27 minutes, the sharpshooting wing scored 27 points on 9-for-12 shooting, with six rebounds, two assists, and five three-pointers. He's now scored 26 and 27 points in back-to-back games to set new season-highs after not scoring more than 23 points all year. Also, he's drained five and six three-pointers to register his first games with more than two-made triples all season. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a good run of form for Bogdanovic. He's appropriately rostered at 79 percent on Yahoo but is an easy trade target if you need some points and threes to bolster your squad after the first 15 games of the year.

Sat Nov 13 202121:15Bojan Bogdanovic Leads Jazz In Scoring On Saturday
Utah Jazz small forward Bojan Bogdanovic notched a team-high 26 points in Saturday's 111-105 home loss to Miami, going 8-for-19 from the field with six of his makes coming from downtown. He delivered three assists and collected six rebounds while registering three turnovers in 28 minutes. This marks Bogdanovic's fourth game of the season with 20-plus points and three of them have come this month as the Croatian sniper has improved his sharpness. The 32-year-old will face the Sixers next, whose defense has taken a big step back in recent games, with the team missing multiple players because of health and safety protocols.

Fri Nov 5 202108:43Bojan Bogdanovic Notches 23 Points Thursday Night
Utah Jazz small forward Bojan Bogdanovic led the starters with 23 points on 7-for-16 shooting in Thursday's road victory over Atlanta. He had a tough time from deep with a 2-for-7 effort but boosted his numbers well with a perfect 7-for-7 mark at the charity stripe. Bogdanovic completed his line with five rebounds, two assists, one steal and two turnovers in 31 minutes. The veteran sniper has now produced back-to-back 20-point games, and there could be more of those to come if Donovan Mitchell (ankle) remains out of the lineup. However, the next matchup against a slow-paced Miami team that is ranked second in defensive efficiency will make it difficult for Bogdanovic to continue his streak.

Thu Oct 21 202109:41Bojan Bogdanovic Paces Team With 22 Points
Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic scored a team-high 22 points in Wednesday's victory over Oklahoma City. Bogdanovic shot 10-for-17 from the field and 2 of 6 from beyond the arc, chipping in four rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 28 minutes of action. The veteran sharpshooter has averaged at least 17 points per game while knocking down two or more triples per contest in each of the last two campaigns. Bogdanovic should be a solid contributor in both categories this season.

Sat Jun 19 202118:26Latest early playoff exit leaves bitter taste for Utah Jazz
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Once again, the Utah Jazz endured a postseason collapse. Making an early exit from the NBA playoffs stung much more this time. The top-seeded Jazz fell to the Los Angeles Clippers in six games after blowing a 2-0 series lead. Injuries to All-Stars Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley, coupled with defensive deficiencies exposed by the Clippers’ small-ball lineups, took down a Utah team after a dominating in the regular season. For a team that surrendered a 3-1 series lead to Denver a season earlier, this latest postseason setback left an extra bitter taste. “This hurts more than last year because we were up again and lost again,” Mitchell said. “This is going to eat at me. Even when I go to the grocery store, I’m going to be thinking about it.” Mitchell took another step forward during the postseason as a rising superstar for the Jazz, even while playing through pain after reinjuring his right ankle early in the series against the Clippers. The two-time NBA all-star missed... [More]
Thu Jun 17 202118:16Top seeds 76ers, Jazz facing elimination games in semifinals
ATLANTA (AP) — The NBA's top playoff seeds, Philadelphia and Utah, are on the brink of being eliminated. The 76ers have blown leads of 18 and 26 points in back-to-back losses to the Atlanta Hawks, who now lead the Eastern Conference semifinal series 3-2. Atlanta, the No. 5 seed, can clinch the series at home on Friday night after storming back for an improbable 109-106 win on Wednesday night in Philadelphia. “Our backs are against the wall right now and we have to play like it,” said Philadelphia's Tobias Harris. Seth Curry said the 76ers should not have psychological scars from losing big leads in back-to-back losses. “It shouldn’t,” Curry said. “We’re grown men over here. Watch the film and learn from it and bounce back.” Led by Trae Young, the Hawks are attempting to advance to a conference final for only the second time since moving to Atlanta in 1968. The Hawks were swept by Cleveland in the 2015 conference final. The Hawks won their only NBA championship in 1958, when the team was... [More]
Thu Jun 17 202101:05Kawhi Leonard sits out Clippers' victory with sprained knee
Kawhi Leonard's right knee is now a major concern for the Los Angeles Clippers. The All-NBA forward sat out Los Angeles' 119-111 Game 5 victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night with what the Clippers are calling a sprain. A person with knowledge of the matter said Leonard will need more testing and evaluation, raising questions about his availability going forward. The structural integrity of Leonard's knee has yet to be fully determined, the person said, speaking to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team has not offered any specific diagnosis other than sprain. A sprain, by definition, is a ligament injury, though the Clippers have not said which of the four knee ligaments is the cause for concern. “He’s a little down because he wants to be here," Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said before the game in Salt Lake City. “But that’s part of the game. He understands that. He wants to be there for his teammates. We understand what’s going on right now, so he’s going... [More]

Wed Jun 16 202111:35Clippers' Kawhi Leonard sprains right knee, out for Game 5
All-NBA forward Kawhi Leonard has a right knee sprain that will keep him out of the Los Angeles Clippers' lineup for Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night and raises questions about his availability going forward. The Clippers said Wednesday that there is “no timetable for his return." Game 5 is Wednedsday in Salt Lake City; Game 6 of the series is Friday in Los Angeles. It is a massive blow for the Clippers, who have split the first four games of their series with the top-seeded Jazz and are trying to reach the West finals for the first time in franchise history. Leonard is a two-time NBA Finals MVP, and is averaging 30.4 points on 57% shooting in the playoffs. The Clippers were 11-9 without Leonard during the regular season. They're 6-1 so far in the playoffs when he scores at least 28 points, 0-4 otherwise. “I don’t care about the Western Conference Finals," Leonard said after Game 4 of the series against the Jazz. “I’m trying to win a championship.... Wed Jun 16 202110:15AP source: Kawhi Leonard has knee issue, status unclear
All-NBA forward Kawhi Leonard has a right knee injury that may keep him out of the Los Angeles Clippers' lineup for Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals on Wednesday night, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. Leonard's status hinges on what he and the Clippers learn after additional examination and treatment, said the person, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team had not divulged the injury. Leonard was not listed on the injury report that the Clippers filed with the league Tuesday night. That report is scheduled to be updated Wednesday. ESPN first reported that Leonard is dealing with the knee injury. Leonard, a two-time NBA Finals MVP, is averaging 30.4 points on 57% shooting in the playoffs. The injury appeared to occur with about 5:20 left in Game 4 of the series against Utah on Monday night, when he was fouled on a drive by Utah's Bojan Bogdanovic. Leonard was dribbling into the lane when he was bumped, and his right knee... [More]
Fri Jun 11 202118:24Clippers facing another 0-2 deficit as series shifts to LA
The Los Angeles Clippers find themselves in familiar territory — down 2-0 in their second straight playoff series and seeing one player outplay their two superstars. While the Clippers proved they could work their way out of a deep hole before, the challenges are steeper as they prepare to face the Utah Jazz on Saturday as the scene shifts to Staples Center for Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinal series. The downtown Los Angeles court, which has been the franchise's home since 1999, has not given them any advantages when it comes to the postseason. They have lost nine of their last 11 home playoff games. Last Sunday's 126-111 victory over Dallas in Game 7 snapped a eight-game home playoff losing streak. Paul George said after Thursday night's 117-111 loss that they are approaching this two-game deficit the same way they approached being down to Dallas. “We still feel we have a lot of possessions that we can clean up and a lot of possessions that are hurting us that’s our fault,”... Wed Sep 2 202013:58Mitchell: 'Just the beginning' for Jazz after playoff loss
Jazz All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell was hypercritical of Utah's playoff losses to Denver: His eight-second violation in Game 1. Blowing a big lead in Game 5. Not matching Denver’s intensity in Game 6. Losing the ball late in a back-and-forth Game 7.It all added up to sixth-seeded Utah being on the wrong side of NBA history as the Nuggets became the 12th team in the annals of the league to overcome a 3-1 deficit to win a series. One thing Donovan won’t quibble with: The direction of the Jazz. He likes the trajectory they’re on with the team making the postseason for a fourth straight season. This was simply another lesson to be learned.“This won’t happen again,” said Mitchell, a third-year player out of Louisville. "I’m ready to go hoop again right now. We all are. This is just the beginning."Mitchell fell to the floor after Mike Conley’s 3-point attempt spun out at the buzzer in Game 7. His first emotion: Shock. “We worked so hard, as a unit, as a whole, to get to a point that we got to,... [More]
