Fri Dec 6 201320:38Robert Sacre starting, Jordan Hill off bench
Robert Sacre will start at center for the Lakers against the Kings on Friday.
Jordan Hill will come off the bench and his minutes were trending down before tonight, playing just 15.0 minutes per game over his last two. Hill did have some injuries, but coach Mike D'Antoni said he likes Sacre's defense and he'll let Hill play in shorter bursts. Hill probably isn't a must-own player anymore, but he should still have a chance to produce off the bench tonight. Sacre is worth a look in deep leagues.

Mon Dec 2 201300:21Robert Sacre posts big line out of the blue
Lakers big man Robert Sacre notched multiple career-highs on Sunday with 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks in just 24 bench minutes.
To say this came out of nowhere is an understatement -- he was averaging 2.0 points in five appearances before Sunday's game, but suddenly looked like a stud while scoring on easy passes from Steve Blake, Nick Young and Xavier Henry. Sacre may well become a reliable part of the Lakers' bench rotation but it's hard to foresee him having value outside of the deepest leagues.

Lakers re-sign Robert Sacre.
Sacre was a restricted free agent and was never going anywhere else. He'll make the league minimum and will attempt to eke out some minutes off the end of the Lakers' bench. He has no fantasy value.

Sacre has been known more for his cheer leading than anything else, which obviously doesn't translate to a usable fantasy value.

Lakers assigned C Robert Sacre to the D-League.
The Lakers have seven games in the next 11 days, so there won't be much time for practice. Sacre will be better served getting some playing time in the minors.

Thu Jan 10 201301:03Robert Sacre quiet in another Lakers start
Robert Sacre hit just 2-of-9 shots for four points, two rebounds and a block in 25 minutes in another start for the Lakers on Wednesday.
He's actually played pretty well in his two-game stint as the starting center for the Lakers, but Pau Gasol could return on Friday, which would shuttle Sacre back to the bench. He has no fantasy value.

Wed Jan 9 201300:07Robert Sacre blocks four shots in start
Robert Sacre started at center for the banged up Lakers and had 10 points, three rebounds and four blocks in 28 minutes of Tuesday's loss.
Dwight Howard's labrum injury shouldn't keep him out for too long (targeting next week) and Pau Gasol could return from his concussion on Friday. And you have to think that when one of them is ready to go, Sacre will return to his role off the bench. Unless you're in a 20-team league, Sacre isn't worth picking up at this point.

Tue Jan 8 201314:39Robert Sacre to start Tuesday
Robert Sacre will start Tuesday's game against the Rockets.
Sacre is a 7'0/260 second-round rookie out of Gonzaga. He appeared in 13 games before getting sent to the D-League this season, averaging just 4.2 minutes in those contests. Despite the Lakers' injury woes, anything more than 20 minutes for Sacre would be a major surprise. They're more likely to go with a smaller lineup featuring the likes of Darius Morris and/or Antawn Jamison for heavy minutes.

Robert Sacre will be recalled from the D-League and will "likely" be the starting center while Dwight Howard (shoulder) and Pau Gasol (concussion) are out.
Nothing like going from starting center in the D-League to starting center for the Lakers in less than a week, but that's the role Sacre is about to step into.

Wed Nov 28 201215:47Robert Sacre officially assigned to D-League
The Lakers have officially assigned Robert Sacre to the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the D-League.
Barring major injuries in the Lakers' frontcourt, there was no room for Sacre to have any sort of fantasy impact this year. He'll get more minutes and a chance to develop in the NBA's lower level.

Thu Oct 25 201202:26Robert Sacre makes roster case vs. Clippers
Robert Sacre scored 13 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block against the Clippers on Wednesday.
Sacre got the start despite Jordan Hill returning from a back injury and made the most of it. His fantasy value is limited to deep leagues even if Hill and Dwight Howard continue to experience back issues.
