Sat Dec 4 202114:38Coby White Remains Out On Saturday Evening
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (illness) remains listed on the league's official injury report and won't be available against the Nets on Saturday. The 21-year-old recently tested positive for COVID-19, which is unfortunate considering he returned just a few weeks ago after missing the start of the year while recovering from left shoulder surgery. Javonte Green also won't play because of health and safety protocols, and Alex Caruso (hamstring) is questionable. As a result, the starting lineup may be tasked with an increased workload versus first-place Brooklyn, while Troy Brown Jr. and Derrick Jones Jr. could see an uptick in minutes from the bench.

Wed Dec 1 202113:34Coby White Enters Safety Protocols
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White is expected to miss some time while he follows the league's health and safety guidelines. The young guard has tested positive for COVID-19 and will quarantine for 10 days or return consecutive negative tests. Fantasy managers should expect White to need extra time to ramp up his conditioning after sitting out. In the meantime, Alex Caruso should see more minutes and take on a bigger role in the rotation. Also, Ayo Dosunmu should get more minutes off the bench, but it's uncertain if he'll have a big enough role to warrant rostering in most formats.

Mon Nov 22 202108:16Coby White Plays Big Role In Comeback Win
Chicago Bulls point guard Coby White scored 10 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter as the team completed a comeback win over the Knicks on Sunday. Zach LaVine had a rough night with 7-for-20 shooting and the Bulls were trailing ahead of the final 12 minutes of action, but they battled out a 109-103 victory in the end. White, who played for only the fourth time this season after recovering from shoulder surgery, shot 5-for-11 from the field and 3-for-6 from outside, while delivering two assists with zero turnovers in 21 minutes. Following the arrival of Lonzo Ball, White's role has completely changed this season and it will be fascinating to watch how he adapts to a bench role. His Sunday's performance was an encouraging sign that White could still play an important role for the team.

Sun Nov 14 202118:12Coby White Not Playing On Sunday
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (shoulder) will sit out Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. This was fully expected as White works his way back from left shoulder surgery. The organization is hopeful that White can make his season debut on Monday. He has been ramping up his activity lately and appears almost ready to play. White is expected to be the sixth man for Chicago. He'll likely have a solid role in the rotation, which means he should at least hold deep league value. However, all fantasy managers should monitor White over the next week or so.

Sat Nov 13 202119:20Coby White Could Possibly Return On Monday
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (shoulder) could return as early as Monday. The young guard has been sidelined all season due to a left shoulder injury. He has already been ruled out for Sunday, but that makes sense because it's the front end of a back-to-back set. White was able to get through Saturday's 5-on-5 practice without any issues. It sounds like he is almost ready to get back into game action. However, it's uncertain if the Bulls plan on easing him into the rotation. White is expected to have a significant role off the bench. He'll be worth monitoring in most formats and certainly worth a roster spot in deep leagues right away.

Wed Nov 10 202114:07Coby White Expected To Return Soon
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (shoulder) mentioned that he is back to normal practicing and should return soon. The young guard has not played this season while recovering from a shoulder injury. The Bulls have an upcoming five game road trip, so White could potentially return during that. He'd likely be eased back into things, but should be reliable once he's back to full speed. White is expected to be the sixth man for this team and should be able to hold fantasy value in basically all formats. Which means, it's safe to snag White off the waiver wire if he's available.

Tue Nov 2 202114:46Coby White Beginning To Take Contact
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (shoulder) has begun taking contact during workouts, according to head coach Billy Donovan. He still has no timetable for a return from surgery to repair a torn left labrum. This is a step in the right direction, but it doesn't sound like White is anywhere close to ready. There should be a significant role for him off the bench whenever he does get into action. However, there is no need to roster him in most formats right now unless you have an available IR spot.

Wed Sep 29 202114:15Coby White Gaining Strength In His Shoulder
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (shoulder) has been working on gaining strength in his surgically repaired shoulder. White will miss the beginning of the regular season while rehabbing. The hope is that White will be back on the court by mid-November. White put together a strong campaign in 2020. However, his value is going to take a significant hit with the addition of Lonzo Ball. White should have some low-end value in deep leagues operating as the sixth man.

Thu Jun 10 202118:23Bulls G White has surgery on shoulder, out at least 4 months
CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago Bulls guard Coby White had surgery Thursday on his left shoulder after injuring it over the weekend. The team said White was hurt “while engaged in basketball activities away from the team” and will be reevaluated in four months, throwing into question his status for training camp and the season opener. White averaged 15.1 points and 4.8 assists while starting 54 of the 69 games he played in last season — his second in the NBA. He started his final 18 games and averaged 17.6 points and 5.9 assists while making about 40% of his 3-pointers. His decision-making also was better during that stretch. The Bulls finished 11th in the Eastern Conference at 31-41, two games behind Charlotte for the final tournament play-in spot and out of the postseason for the fourth straight year. The NBA told teams Thursday that it intends to return to a normal schedule next season, with training camps opening in late September and the regular season set to begin on Oct. 19. ___ More AP NBA: https://apnews.com/hub/NBA and https://twitter.com/AP_Sports.
