Andersen (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Nets, Shandel Richardson of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
The Heat haven't revealed the results of the evaluation that Andersen underwent Tuesday, so his availability for Wednesday's game will be shrouded in mystery leading up to tip off. With Hassan Whiteside suspended for Wednesday's game, the Heat could be hurting for depth on the inside if Andersen is forced to sit, as the undersized Udonis Haslem -- who is probable to play, but is nursing an ankle injury of his own -- would likely be forced to cover the center spot.

Andersen injured his ankle in Monday's game against the Celtics and will be evaluated Tuesday, the Miami Herald reports.
Andersen managed to play 19 minutes in Monday's game but may be in danger for Miami's upcoming contest against the Nets on Wednesday. Official news on his availability should be unveiled sometime Tuesday.

Andersen moved into the starting lineup during Saturday's overtime victory against the Kings, finishing with 11 points (3-5 FG, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, one steal and three blocked shots in 29 minutes.
Andersen made the move into the starting five, as Hassan Whiteside sat out with an ankle injury. Considering Whiteside's injury isn't considered to be one that will cost him extended time, don't expect this to last more then a game or two. As soon as that happens, he'll return to playing in the mid-teens in minutes, which will highly restrict his fantasy impact.

Andersen (general soreness) only saw 13 minutes off the bench against the Wizards on Friday but still managed to post four points, six rebounds, and one assist during his short time on the court.
Andersen was dealing with some general soreness ahead of Friday's game but the Heat were already bogged down with other injuries so Andersen was thrust into action. He'll likely see some time off the court down the road to rest, although he should be considered active until the Heat say otherwise.

Andersen (general soreness) is active for Friday's game against the Wizards.
The Heat are dealing with numerous injuries heading into Friday so Andersen will be playing through whatever soreness that is still plaguing him in lieu of resting.

Andersen (general soreness) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards.
It appears coach Erik Spoelstra may look to give Andersen a night off to rest, though a final decision may not come until close to game-time. Andersen played 15 minutes and put up four points and six rebounds Wednesday against the Lakers.
Tue Mar 3 201507:06Andersen (illness) posted one point, four rebounds, and one bloc...
Andersen (illness) posted one point, four rebounds, and one block in 14 minutes of action Monday against the Suns.
Andersen missed one game due to an illness, and it appears he's ready to go moving forward. Still, he hasn't made the most of Chris Bosh's absence, averaging just 3.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks over the last four games. He isn't a valid fantasy option in most leagues.
Mon Mar 2 201518:55Andersen (illness) will play Monday against Suns
Andersen (illness) will play Monday against the Suns, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Andersen missed Monday's shootaround and was considered a game-time call, but it appears he'll take the court Monday and play through an illness. Udonis Haslem will get the start at power forward alongside Hassan Whiteside.

Andersen (illness) missed Monday's morning shootaround and is still listed as questionable for the game against the Suns.
Andersen rarely sees much more than 20 minutes when he does play, so his status will not have a major fantasy impact, other than to give extended minutes to Hassan Whiteside. Look for an update closer to tip-off.

Andersen (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Suns, the Miami Herald reports.
Andersen missed Saturday's game against the Hawks due to his current ailment so he's certainly in danger of being confined to the bench once again Monday. His status should be updated after Monday's morning shootaround.

Andersen is dealing with an illness and will be a game-time decision for Saturday's contest against the Hawks.
Andersen's availability won't likely be announced until right before tipoff, so it might be wise to find other options in the event that he's unable to take the court Saturday. If he stays off the court, Hassan Whiteside will be forced into major minutes without a viable backup center on the roster.

Andersen had two points (1-2 FG), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 15 minutes on Friday.
He missed Tuesday's loss to the Bucks and didn't do much off the bench against the Mavs. Hassan Whiteside has been a beast lately which lessens Andersen's production. Whiteside is looking pretty comfortable as the starting center for the Heat.
Thu Jan 29 201512:40Andersen (elbow/back) set to return Friday against Mavericks
Andersen (elbow/back) is set to return Friday against the Mavericks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Andersen sat out Tuesday's loss to Milwaukee but he'll return to action Friday and will likely come off the bench behind Hassan Whiteside. Andersen doesn't provide much, from a fantasy perspective, but he's a reliable rebounder, averaging 6.2 per game in January.
Tue Jan 27 201517:55Andersen (elbow/back) will not play in Tuesday's game
Andersen (elbow/back) will not play in Tuesday's game, the Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman reports.
He is dealing with a sore elbow and back, and should be considered questionable for Friday's game. Look for Hassan Whiteside and Chris Bosh to handle most of the work in the post Tuesday.
Tue Jan 27 201511:28Andersen (elbow) considered game-time call for Tuesday's matchup...
Andersen (elbow) is considered a game-time call for Tuesday's matchup with the Bucks.
Andersen did not participate in shootaround and is dealing with minor elbow and back injuries. If he does play, he'll come off the bench, as the Heat announced Monday that Hassan Whiteside will get the start at center. An update on Andersen's status should come later this evening during pregame warmups.
Sun Jan 25 201512:51Andersen will start Sunday against Bulls
Andersen will start Sunday against the Bulls.
Despite the expected return of Hassan Whiteside (ankle), Andersen will continue as the starter Sunday. Although, Andersen is still a limited option who has never played more than 30 minutes in any game this season.

Andersen started against the Hornets on Wednesday and recorded six points, four rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 20 minutes.
Andersen enjoyed the spot start Wednesday since Hassan Whiteside (ankle) was unable to play. Even when starting, Andersen is a limited option that should only receive run in the deepest of leagues.
Wed Jan 21 201518:35Andersen will get start Wednesday against Hornets
Andersen will get the start Wednesday against the Hornets.
With Hassan Whiteside out for the time being, Andersen will get the start, although he is unlikely to see much more than 30 minutes.

Andersen (illness) returned to action Tuesday, putting up seven points, six rebounds, one block, and one three-pointer in 29 minutes off the bench Tuesday.
Andersen appears to be right as rain, and he's back in the bench role he's more accustomed to. With that said, Hassan Whiteside sprained his ankle Tuesday, and if he needs to miss any time, Andersen could end up shifting back into the starting lineup. In the grand scheme of things, Andersen's value doesn't really change whether he's starting or coming off the bench, because he's averaged 23 minutes in both roles.
