Murphy is out of the lineup Saturday against the Tigers.
Murphy is out for the fourth time in five games Saturday, giving way to Ryan Rayburn in right field. He hasn't really been struggling at the plate, but the team has four outfielders for three spots, and with Carlos Santana serving as the designated hitter, Murphy is the odd man out again.

Murphy is out of the lineup for Game 1 of the Indians' doubleheader with the Twins on Thursday.
It's a little odd that Murphy is out of the lineup with a right-hander in Kyle Gibson on the mound for Game 1, but he'll give way in right field to Tyler Holt nonetheless. The Twins will bring another righty to the hill for Game 2, so there's a good chance that Murphy will still get his fair share of at-bats Thursday.

Murphy (oblique) took 45 swings off a tee Tuesday and will continue to ramp up his rehab, MLB.com reports. "He's going to continue to ramp up his swings this week. He's been so diligent, but you can't push it," manager Terry Francona said.
The Indians may have some difficulty finding a rehab spot for Murphy as the minor league seasons come to a close but he's getting closer to a return. The Indians will probably have a further grasp on the next steps over the weekend.

Murphy was diagnosed with a right oblique strain, which will keep him sidelined 4-to-5 weeks, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Initially deemed a abdominal strain, an MRI revealed that Murphy was instead suffering from an oblique injury. The expected timetable calls for a return in early to mid-September, but a recovering oblique can be unpredictable. In the meantime, a combination of Ryan Raburn, Tyler Holt, and Chris Dickerson will help cover right field.
