Brasier (elbow) was outrighted off the Angels' 40-man roster Monday, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.

Brasier's 2014 campaign was lost to Tommy John surgery, and he may struggle to reclaim a spot on the Angels' 40-man if his velocity proves diminished. In parts of three seasons at the Triple-A level, Brasier has posted a 4.40 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 137:49 K:BB over 143.1 innings.
