INF Wilmer Difo should still see more playing time even with SS Trea Turner coming off the disabled list Tuesday. "I already called Difo in and talked to him about that," manager Dusty Baker said. "I told him how great he was playing." Difo started in right for the first time Tuesday. He has also made one start in center and left this year. Difo was 1-for-3 on Tuesday and is hitting .287.

SS Wilmer Difo plated the Nationals' lone run with a sacrifice fly in the third inning. It marked his first RBI since recording at least one RBI over four consecutive games from July 26-30.

Murphy entered the day batting .316 with nine home runs and 33 RBIs. "He's available," Speier told reporters before the game. "This is Dusty's theory: Usually when somebody comes in and says, 'I'm ready,' then he usually gives him one more day. But he's available."Murphy entered Saturday at seventh in the National League in hits with 56, one ahead of teammate Bryce Harper. Murphy also was among the league leaders in multi-hit games and road batting average.Last season, Murphy, with 25 homers and 104 RBIs, was second in the National League in hitting at .347 and was among the top finishers in the NL voting for Most Valuable Player. This is his second season with the Nationals, after spending the first part of his career with the New York Mets.Washington entered play Saturday with a team batting average of .274 and 74 homers, both marks leading the league.
