Udrih came off the bench Monday with Mike Conley (ankles) back in the lineup. However, Udrih contributed only four points (2-5 FG) and one assist in 17 minutes during the Grizzlies' loss to the Mavericks.
In back-to-back starts for Conley on Friday and Saturday, Udrih averaged 16 points, four assists, four rebounds, and one block in 29 minutes. After a brief stay in the fantasy spotlight, Udrih's relevance will again be limited due to a cap in his workload, which affords him less than 20 minutes per game when the Grizzlies' backcourt is healthy.

Udrih scored 17 points (7-7 FG, 3-4 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 29 minutes during the Grizzlies' 102-98 win versus the Blazers on Saturday.
With Mike Conley (sore ankles) out Udrih has stepped up and filled his shoes nicely, helping lead the Grizzlies to wins on back-to-back nights. Though his value will return to what it was before when Conley returns to the lineup, the Grizzlies are unlikely to bring Conley back until he's fully healthy. The Grizzlies are back in action on Monday versus the Mavericks.

Udrih started in place of Mike Conley (ankle) Friday against the Magic. He scored 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pr, 2-2 FT) and added five assists and a block in 29 minutes.
Filling in for Conley, Udrig saw a huge boost in his workload - up from the high teens. With such an increase in opportunity, Udrih is worth a short-term flier in a lot of settings, and especially in settings that permit streaming.
Fri Jan 16 201518:10Udrih will get start at point guard Friday
Udrih will get the start at point guard Friday, Magic.com's John Denton reports.
Mike Conley is out because of a sprained ankle, and while he is out, Udrih makes for a solid cheap play in daily leagues. Look for Nick Calathes to also get some run at point guard Friday.

Udrih (knee) scored seven points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT) to go along with one rebound, three assists and one steal in 15 minutes Monday against the Knicks.
Udrih was able to return to his familiar backup point guard role Monday and although he is a valuable member of the Grizzlies bench, he does not provide significant fantasy value.

Udrih (leg) participated in shootaround and is probable for Monday's game against the Knicks, the Memphis Commercial Appeal's Ronald Tillery reports.
He will resume his role as backup point guard after missing one game with a left leg contusion, and only has value in deeper leagues.
Sat Jan 3 201521:37Udrih held out Saturday with lower left leg contusion
Udrih was held out Saturday with a lower left leg contusion, the Memphis Commercial-Appeal reports.
Udrih is dealing with both a sore ankle and knee, so he was held out of action Saturday night. Consider him questionable for the Grizzlies' next game Monday against the Knicks.
Sat Jan 3 201520:42Udrih will not play Saturday due to undisclosed injury
Udrih will not play Saturday due to an undisclosed injury, Grizzlies sideline reporter Rob Fischer reports.
It's not clear why Udrih will sit out Saturday, but he will not be available for Memphis' matchup with the Nuggets. Nick Calathes could work as the Grizzlies' backup point guard in Udrih's absence.

Udrih (finger) played 19 minutes and had two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) with five assists in the loss to the Cavaliers on Sunday.
Udrih injured his finger on Friday, but was able to play through the pain against Cleveland. He is a decent backup point guard behind Mike Conley, but that role limits his fantasy upside.
Fri Dec 19 201422:51Udrih left Friday's game against Bulls with finger injury but X-...
Udrih left Friday's game against the Bulls with a finger injury but X-rays were negative, the Commercial Appeal reports.
Udrih notched 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting (5-of-5 from the free throw line), with one assist and two steals in 20 minutes prior to exiting halfway through the fourth quarter. It sounds like he was fortunate enough to avoid a serious injury, but Udrih's status for Sunday's game against Cleveland is uncertain.

Udrih recorded nine points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal in 16 minutes during the Grizzlies' 113-107 win versus the Hornets on Friday.
Udrih continues to be a factor playing the pick-and-roll off the Grizzlies bench, and fellow backup point guard Nick Calathes received yet another DNP-CD on Friday. If you're searching for assists in deeper leagues Udrih might be worth a look, but he's unlikely to be much of an option in standard leagues unless Mike Conley suffers an injury.

Udrih recorded 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and four assists in 16 minutes during the Grizzlies' 114-105 win versus the Mavericks on Tuesday.
Udrih has held down the backup point guard job despite Nick Calathes' return from suspension on Nov. 23, averaging 18 minutes per game in the eight games since Calathes came back. Meanwhile, Calathes' minutes have been very limited, and if Udrih doesn't start struggling it might be hard for Calathes to regain the primary backup role he enjoyed last year as a rookie before the Grizzlies signed Udrih to replace the suspended Calathes for the team's playoff run. Still, Udrih is only worth a look in deep leagues even if this trend continues.

Udrih (illness) posted nine points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 26 minutes during the Grizzlies' 117-100 win versus the Celtics on Friday.
Tony Allen and Quincy Pondexter both did not play, but Udrih has been playing well and may still see solid time going forward even with Nick Calathes (suspension) set to make his return on Sunday versus the Clippers. Coach Dave Joerger has already expressed that he plans on using more two point guard lineups once Calathes returns, and Udrih has only continued to make a strong case that he deserves minutes since that point.

Udrih (illness) is considered questionable for Friday's game against the Celtics, Rob Fischer of Sports 56 WHBQ in Memphis reports.
Udrih, along with four teammates, missed Wednesday's game against the Raptors, leaving the Grizzlies with only nine active players. If he can't go again Friday, Kalin Lucas could see a few minutes off the bench.
Wed Nov 19 201418:43Udrih (illness) ruled out Wednesday
Udrih (illness) has been ruled out Wednesday, CBS Sports' James Herbert reports.
With Courtney Lee also out with the same stomach virus, look for Mike Conley to see heavy minutes Wednesday. Consider Udrih day-to-day.
Wed Nov 19 201413:31Udrih (illness) questionable for Wednesday's game
Udrih (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game, Sports 56 WHBQ's Rob Fischer reports.
Courtney Lee is also questionable with the same stomach virus, so there's a chance Mike Conley could be asked to do almost all of the ball handling Wednesday against Toronto.
Wed Nov 12 201409:50Udrih might be used decently often in two-point guard lineups
Udrih might be used decently often in two-point guard lineups, Geoff Calkins of The Commercial Appeal reports.
Udrih stepped up in the 2014 playoffs and has been playing well off the bench during Nick Calathes' suspension, and since Quincy Pondexter has been struggling, rookie Jordan Adams won't be playing for quite some time, and Tayshaun Prince's minutes are being limited, Udrih appears to have forced his way into decent playing time even once Calathes returns. Still, his value will likely be limited to deeper leagues unless the Grizzlies get hit hard by injuries.

Udrih scored 16 points (8-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt) to go along with one rebound, three assists and one steal in 18 minutes during the Grizzlies' 107-102 win versus the Lakers on Tuesday.
With Nick Calathes (suspension) set to return Nov. 23 versus the Clippers, Udrih is likely to see a dip in minutes soon. However, prior to Tuesday the Grizzlies had yet to see a reserve reach double digit scoring this season, and if Udrih is going to provide a consistent scoring punch he should be able to keep a decent amount of minutes. Still, he's unlikely to warrant much consideration outside of the deepest leagues, especially once Calathes makes his return to the lineup.

Udrih posted nine points, (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes during the Grizzlies' 97-89 win versus the Pacers on Friday.
After a quiet performance in the season opener versus the TImberwolves Udrih played well off the bench on Friday. He should continue to see decent minutes as Mike Conley's primary backup until Nick Calathes returns from suspension, at which point it's likely he'll play a much more reduced role as the team's third point guard. Udrih is likely only worth a look for those searching for a short-term option in deeper leagues.
Thu Jul 10 201416:10Report: Beno Udrih to return to Memphis
Beno Udrih has reached an agreement to return to the Grizzlies next season, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
Udrih was acquired by Memphis from the New York Knicks in late February and averaged only 5.5 minutes in his 10 games played with the Grizzlies during the regular season. He managed to salvage his season with a strong playoff showing, scoring nearly eight points per game while shooting over 40 percent from the field. Stein is also reporting that his deal will be for two years at the bi-annual exception.
