Wed Jun 26 201309:22Roberts (hammy) has two hits in rehab game
Brian Roberts (hamstring) went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored Tuesday in his first rehab game with Triple-A Norfolk.
It was his first game action since hamstring surgery in early May. Roberts is expected to play at least three rehab games, but he could be back with the Orioles within the next week. The 35-year-old could be an upgrade at second base for Baltimore, but it's tough to count on him in fantasy leagues.

Brian Roberts (hamstring) told reporters Sunday that he doesn't want to be at Triple-A Norfolk for long.

"To be brutally honest, I don't want to be there long," said the veteran second baseman. "As soon as I'm ready I'm going to call them and say I'm good. I don't know if that's three days or 10 days, but hopefully not the latter." He's about six weeks removed from hamstring surgery.

Tue Jun 11 201310:24Roberts (hamstring) nearing rehab stint
Brian Roberts (knee, hamstring) said Monday that he's getting closer to going out on a minor league rehab assignment.
Roberts hasn't played since April 5 and required hamstring surgery last month. He'll need to run without restrictions before returning to game action, but it's not clear when that will happen. While the 35-year-old said last week that it was "definitely realistic" to expect him to return before the All-Star break, fantasy owners shouldn't count on him.

Fri Jun 7 201319:41Roberts hopes to return before All-Star break
Brian Roberts (knee) said Friday that it's "definitely realistic" to expect him to return to the Orioles' lineup before the All-Star break.
While the optimism is nice to hear, it's incredibly difficult to buy into the health of the oft-injured second baseman. He hasn't played sine April 5 and underwent surgery last month to repair a ruptured tendon in his right knee. He remains a very talented middle infield option, but can't be trusted in any fantasy format.
