Fri Dec 19 201423:56Foye (quad) still doesn't have timetable to return to lineup
Foye (quad) still doesn't have a timetable to return to the lineup, and hasn't even gotten on the court to run, The Denver Post reports.
It doesn't seem likely that Foye returns in 2014, and will see the court in January at the earliest. He's been out since Nov. 25 with a quadriceps tear and isn't doing basketball-related work as of this week. Danilo Gallinari will continue to be a primary option for the Nuggets off the bench, and Arron Afflalo has been playing over 31 minutes per game this season as a starter.
Tue Nov 25 201413:27Randy Foye: Has Torn Quad, Out Three Weeks
Foye has a tear in his right quad and will miss at least three weeks, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
After playing only 11 minutes Sunday against the Lakers, Foye underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed the tear, and he'll be shut down for a three-week recovery period, after which he'll be re-evaluated. In his absence, the Nuggets will lean more heavily on Arron Afflalo and Ty Lawson offensively, while Nate Robinson will take on a more significant role off the bench. Foye is averaging 8.4 points per game on 37.5 percent shooting this season.

Foye (knee) scored one point (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with one assist and one steal in 10 minutes Monday against the Cavaliers.
Foye has scored single digit points in six of eight games played this season, leaving him with limited fantasy value when the Nuggets roster is healthy.
Mon Nov 17 201417:38Foye (knee) will play Monday against Cavaliers
Foye (knee) will play Monday against the Cavaliers, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
Foye missed the last two games, including Sunday's loss to the Knicks, with a minor knee injury, but he'll be back in the mix against the Cavs on Monday. When Denver hosted Cleveland 10 days ago, Foye led all scorers with 28 points, to go with nine assists, but the Nuggets fell 110-101.
Sun Nov 16 201412:56Foye out Sunday
Foye is out Sunday, the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey reports.
This will mark Foye's second missed game with the knee injury, though it is still not thought to be serious. His next chance to return is Monday against the Cavs, but Denver may want to rest him for both games of the upcoming back to back and let him return Wednesday against a weak Thunder team.
Fri Nov 14 201412:33Randy Foye: (Knee) Out Friday
Foye (knee) will not play Friday, the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey reports.
Look for Nate Robinson to fill Foye's shoes as the off guard and occasional ball handler. Foye should be considered day-to-day

Foye (knee) did not practice Thursday and could miss Friday's game against the Pacers, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
Foye is dealing with a minor knee injury suffered Wednesday against the Blazers, but it may be enough to hold him out Friday. After starting 78 games last season, Foye is now coming off the bench with Arron Afflalo back in town. However, Afflalo is off to a rough start, and there have been rumblings that coach Brian Shaw may move him to a bench role. If that's the case, Foye could move back into the starting lineup, as he's averaging 10.9 points on 42.6 percent shooting. It's a small sample size, sure, but Foye hasn't shot better than 42 percent since the 2007-08 season.

Foye has averaged 21 minutes off the bench during Denver's first four games of the season.
Foye is seeing significant time off the bench but the offseason addition of Arron Afflalo may ultimately stifle Foye's production this year. Further complicating things, Nate Robinson is slowly being brought along from a major knee injury and may ultimately gain a bigger role in the backcourt as the season progresses. This would certainly pose problems for Foye's playing time off the bench which is already limited as it is.

Foye returned to action Saturday against the Clippers, scoring 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt) to go with four rebounds and five assists in 32 minutes.
Foye, who missed Thursday's contest with wrist soreness, led the Nuggets in minutes Saturday. While Ty Lawson (hamstring) and Arron Afflalo will comprise the starting backcourt this season, Foye figures to hold down a significant sixth man role off the bench.

Foye (wrist) will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the Warriors, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
Foye suffered a minor wrist injury in practice Wednesday and it remained sore Thursday morning. He'll be held out but the issue shouldn't hamper him when the regular season rolls around. Foye is expected to be one of Denver's primary contributors off the bench.
Fri Jun 27 201421:59Randy Foye putting in extra work since trade
Randy Foye has been putting in extra work since the Nuggets acquired Arron Afflalo and wasn't excited about the deal.
"He's been in [the Pepsi Center] putting in work," coach Brian Shaw said. "He, as he should have been, wasn't all that excited hearing about the trade because obviously people just automatically penciled in Arron as a starter and him as a backup." Foye was given the biggest workload of his career last season after Nate Robinson (knee) went down and didn't see any drop-off in output, but he's likely to move back to the bench. He's not shaping up to be a pick in standard fantasy leagues right now.

Wed Apr 16 201401:28Randy Foye hits just 2-of-12 shots
Randy Foye hit just 2-of-12 shots and was 0-for-7 from downtown for 11 points, four rebounds, seven assists and four steals in a loss to the Clippers.
Had his shot been falling he would have had a monster line, but as it was, he was still effective at filling the stat sheet. Foye should play solid minutes again on Wednesday.

Sun Apr 13 201400:45Randy Foye stays hot with 26 points in win
Randy Foye hit 7-of-13 shots and three more 3-pointers for 26 points, four rebounds and six assists in Saturday's win over the Jazz.
Foye is tracking Dale Ellis for the franchise record of 192 3-pointers made, and currently sits at 186. He'll have to play well over Denver's final two games to catch Ellis, but the record is well within reach and Foye will keep firing away in hopes of catching him, making him an excellent fantasy option down the stretch.

Fri Apr 11 201401:41Randy Foye scores 20 points vs. Warriors
Randy Foye scored 20 points with seven boards, seven assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers vs. the Warriors on Thursday.
It wasn't a 30-point, 15-dime game like he had on Wednesday, but this is still a huge outing. Foye has surged all the way up to number nine in 3-pointers on the season and his 35 minutes per game since the break are a big reason why. He's a must-start guy the rest of the way.

Thu Apr 10 201412:12Randy Foye has shot at DEN team record
Randy Foye hit six 3-pointers on Wednesday, giving him a career-high 179 on the season.
He is one just one 3-pointer behind J.R. Smith for second on Denver's single-season list and 13 behind Dale Ellis' franchise record of 192. "I probably have a shot but I try not to think about that stuff," Foye said. He may say he's not thinking about it, but you have to think Foye is going to keep firing away in hopes of catching Ellis before the end of the season. Foye had 30 points and 15 assists to go along with the triples and looks like a strong play the rest of the way.

Thu Apr 10 201400:02A dandy from Randy: Foye explodes for 30 & 15
Randy Foye went bonkers during Wednesday's win over the Rockets, making 10-of-17 from the field for 30 points with five boards, 15 assists, two steals and six 3-pointers.
He made all four attempts from the line and turned the ball over once for what looks to be the biggest fantasy line of the night. This may come as a surprise, but since the All-Star break only J.R. Smith and James Harden have more 3-pointers than Foye's 76. He's been on a tear since Nate Robinson (knee) and is going to be on a lot of fantasy championship teams thanks to tonight's gem.

Sat Mar 29 201404:46Randy Foye bounces back in loss
Randy Foye hit four 3-pointers vs. the Spurs on Friday with a total of 20 points, one board and one assist in 32 minutes.
Even though the Nuggets are missing guys like Wilson Chandler (groin), Foye's minutes have been dialed back. He played just 30.9 per game in his last 10, which is well below his 35.8 back in February. Still, Foye is worth owning in standard leagues.

Sat Mar 22 201401:47Foye hits five threes for 15 points
Randy Foye hit five 3-pointers for 15 points, three rebounds, one assist and a steal on Friday.
The five triples save this line and represent a step down from his recent play. Needless to say he belongs in all lineups.

Thu Mar 20 201401:39Randy Foye busts out for 22 points, 5 treys
Randy Foye hit 8-of-18 shots and five 3-pointers for 22 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in 44 minutes on Wednesday.
He was probably helped by the fact that Ty Lawson was out with a flu bug, but could also be on the comeback trail. He averaged just 6.0 points and 1.3 3-pointers in three games last Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, but is averaging 18.0 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 3-pointers over his last two games.

Tue Mar 18 201402:07Foye turns it around in win over LAC
Randy Foye scored 14 points on 4-of-10 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, five assists, four steals and one block in Monday's win over the Clippers.
Foye hit all five of his freebies for good measure and this marks his first good game in a while. If he was somehow dropped go run and pick him up as he is a mid-round value with upside beyond that.
