Wed Dec 4 201310:31Kendall Marshall joins Delaware 87ers
Former Suns PG Kendall Marshall was claimed by the Delaware 87ers in the D-League draft.
Marshall was the overall No. 13 pick in 2012 but the Suns quickly soured on him. He could be called up by the 76ers this season, as they're leaving no stone unturned, but even if he returns to the NBA he'll have no fantasy value.

Wed Nov 27 201316:41Kendall Marshall will join D-League
Kendall Marshall will join the NBA D-League this season.
His name will be entered into the player pool and will likely be one of the first players taken. Marshall has skills as a passer, but has failed to score efficiently at any professional level. He shot just 31.3 percent from the field in the D-League last season and might stay down there for the rest of the season.

Mon Nov 4 201316:08Celtics interested in Kendall Marshall?
The Celtics are reportedly interested in free agent Kendall Marshall, according to the Boston Globe.
The Celtics can't really afford him with their current roster, so it's a bit of a moot point. They're dying for a player that can run the point considering Avery Bradley's horrendous assist:turnover ratio of 3.0:4.7 this season. Marshall can dribble and pass, but his lack of shooting and defense make him an overall liability on most NBA teams.

Tue Oct 29 201302:06Marshall waived by the Wizards
Kendall Marshall was waived by the Wizards on Monday.
The move was expected and while chances are another team will take a chance on Marshall, his value is in the cellar around the league. The problem is that he can't shoot, and his areas of strength like passing and playmaking haven't even been all that strong, either.

Fri Oct 25 201317:46Kendal Marshall headed to DC in deal
Kendall Marshall has been traded to the Wizards.
He has been a letdown since the Suns took him with the 13th pick in the 2012 draft. Marshall has some major issues in scoring the ball and he will back up Eric Maynor, serving as the third-string point guard. His fantasy value is still in the cellar.

Tue Jul 16 201301:06Suns put Kendall Marshall on the trade block?
The Suns have put Kendall Marshall on the trade block, several league executives told NBA.com.
With the Suns acquiring Eric Bledsoe via trade, Marshall is expendable for Phoenix. He was absolutely horrible in the D-League, shooting just 31.3 percent from the field in nine games, then increased it to a woeful 37.1 percent with the Suns in 48 outings. The 13th pick in the draft shouldn't be worth much on the market.

Sun Jul 14 201313:42Kendall Marshall unhappy w/ coach's quotes
Suns coach Jeff Hornacek recently said of PG Kendall Marshall, "he's not maybe the type of guy that is going to fly it down the court and penetrate and put pressure on a defense that way."
Hornacek also praised Marshall's ability to attack in pick-and-rolls, but the comments didn't sit well with Marshall. "Apparently I don't like to fastbreak," he wrote in a Twitter post which has since been deleted. "Apparently I didn't [go] to Carolina, team that fast breaks more than any team in the world." This minor flap shouldn't have lasting implications but minutes will be hard to come by for Marshall now that Eric Bledsoe and Archie Goodwin are in Phoenix.

Fri Jun 21 201308:20Suns will have new logos, jerseys next year
The Suns will feature new uniforms and logos next season, and they'll be one team that wears sleeved jerseys.
The blurb goes under Kendall Marshall because Marshall was vocal on Twitter on Thursday in voicing his displeasure with the sleeved uniforms. The team will get black road jerseys and sleeved orange alternates, while the logo will not be officially unveiled until draft night. There will be other teams outside of the Suns and Warriors to use sleeved jerseys next season as well, but it's not known which yet.

Sun Mar 31 201300:54K. Marshall plays 10 minutes w/ Dragic back
Kendall Marshall returned to obscurity with Goran Dragic playing on Saturday -- he was scoreless with four assists and four personal fouls in 10 minutes.
If you picked up Marshall for a quick fix of assists, it was a short ride. Just keep an eye on him in case Goran Dragic is inexplicably shut down.

Fri Mar 29 201300:24Kendall Marshall scores nine points vs. SAC
Kendall Marshall got his second start in a row on Thursday and had nine points, one board, 10 assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.
"He's learning on the fly. That's what this is all about," Hunter said. The Suns have decided to rest a a healthy Goran Dragic in order to give Marshall a chance to show what he can do. He doesn't have much of an offensive game, shooting just 38 percent from the field this year and isn't very good at finishing around the basket. Dragic has a big contract and this is one of the biggest head-scratching moves of the year.

Thu Mar 28 201301:29Kendall Marshall with 13 assists sans Dragic
Kendall Marshall got a start on Wednesday when Lindsey Hunter decided to give Goran Dragic a "day of rest" and had seven points, three rebounds, a career-high 13 assists and a steal on 2-of-7 shooting in 34 minutes.
Hunter ticked Dragic's fantasy owners off in a major way with his last-minute benching of Dragic, and Marshall played pretty well tonight. We're guessing Dragic is back in there for the next one and Marshall was just a flash in the pan tonight, but there's really no telling what the Suns' next move will be.

Thu Mar 21 201309:28Suns trying to break Marshall of comfort zone
Lindsey Hunter said the Suns are trying to break Kendall Marshall from staying in his comfort zone.
"Kendall's a kid who loves to be comfortable, loves to get in his own comfort zone and stay there," Hunter said. "We continue to just try to force him out of it, and he's been receptive to it and he's getting better." The rookie has played consistently since Hunter took over, but he's averaging a lousy 2.6 points and 2.1 assists on 40 percent shooting.

Thu Mar 14 201300:55Kendall Marshall gets hot in garbage time
Kendall Marshall came off the bench for 10 points, six assists and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes of Wednesday's ugly loss to the Rockets.
This appears to have been a classic 'garbage time' situation, as this game was over by halftime. Goran Dragic started and had 11 points, five boards, four assists and three steals in 20 minutes, and then sat out most of the second half in favor of the rookie.

Tue Mar 12 201309:50Hunter wants less bounce passes from Marshall
Lindsey Hunter wants to see fewer bounce passes from Kendall Marshall.
Bounce passes can be effective unless the defense knows they're coming, and Hunter's wind-up tends to give it away at times. "Those bounce passes drive me nuts," Hunter said. "You hold your breath in the beginning when he winds up." Hunter did call Marshall a "great passer" and is more confident in the rookie than he was previously, but the No. 13 pick of the 2012 draft still has a long road ahead.

Fri Feb 22 201320:14Hunter: Marshall has phenomenal vision
Lindsey Hunter said Kendall Marshall has phenomenal vision, but said he has no problem putting third-string guard Diante Garrett in the game.
"I don't have a problem putting Diante Garrett in the game and I've let Kendall know that," Hunter said. The Suns coach has been raving about so many guys, someone not familiar with the team might think they play 11 at a time instead of five. The Suns have an extremely fluid rotation and it seems like Goran Dragic is the only one that is safe.

Thu Feb 14 201310:40Suns usinge two-PG lineup w/ Dragic, Marshall
The Suns are using more of a two-point guard lineup with Kendall Marshall and Goran Dragic.
"I think he's a natural scorer," Lindsey Hunter said of Dragic. The combo has only played about 33 minutes together on the court this season, but it's something we're going to see more of, though Hunter is still experimenting with the best lineups for his team.

Sun Feb 10 201323:07Kendall Marshall starts second half for Suns
Kendall Marshall started the second half of Sunday's game, replacing Jared Dudley, and he finished with seven points, three assists, one steal and three turnovers in 26 minutes.
Phoenix was simply obliterated in this game and we're not eager to grab Marshall, a 37.5 percent shooter, based on his fluky half-game as a starter. He's worth watching closely, however, as Lindsey Hunter likes him and the Suns have plenty of incentive to develop him.

Wed Feb 6 201323:15Kendall Marshall doesn't score in 20 minutes
Kendall Marshall played 20 minutes against the Hornets on Wednesday and had no points, one board, three assists and no turnovers.
Marshall has been as advertised at shooting at the NBA level, making 37.0 percent of his field goals this year. He shot a putrid 31 percent from the field in the D-League and his inability to hit shots in college was the biggest knock on his draft-day value. He won't be knocking off Goran Dragic any time soon, but the rookie might be able to produce in the event of an injury.

Tue Feb 5 201323:21Kendall Marshall has career night in win
Kendall Marshall had career highs of 11 points, four assists and three 3-pointers on 4-of-8 shooting in a career-high 33 minutes on Tuesday.
Marshall was playing some shooting guard and Jared Dudley and Shannon Brown suffered as a result. We'll need to see Marshall do more of his in the near future, but he definitely deserves to be on the fantasy radar screen in case he starts getting more minutes than Dudley and Brown going forward. Starting point guard Goran Dragic had 17 points and four assists in 24 minutes, and we seriously doubt his starting job is in jeopardy to Marshall.

Sat Feb 2 201305:11Kendall Marshall takes backup job
Kendall Marshall took over the backup point guard duties with 10 minutes, scoring one point with two assists, one steal and two turnovers against the Mavericks on Friday.
Lindsey Hunter said that Marshall would take over as the backup and he was true to his word. We are obligated to remind you that Marshall shot a pathetic 31.3 percent from the field in his nine D-League games and his shooting woes were a massive red flag to his NBA Draft stock last year. Even if Goran Dragic ever misses time, Hunter would look pretty bad giving Marshall a featured load at point guard. Sebastian Telfair received a DNP-CD.
