Sun Jan 30 202217:51Kristaps Porzingis Not Available On Sunday
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) didn't travel with the team for Sunday's game against the Orlando Magic. He was only able to play 11 minutes on Saturday before exiting with right knee soreness. His absence means more playing time for Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell. The hope is that Porzingis can play in their next contest, which is on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Until then, Kleber and Powell will cover the five spot. Kleber is the better streaming choice and DFS option for Sunday's slate.

Mon Jan 3 202218:23Kristaps Porzingis Enters COVID-19 Protocols
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis has entered the league's health and safety protocols. That means, Porzingis won't be available for Monday's game against the Denver Nuggets. Boban Marjanovic is sidelined as well due to protocols, while Willie Cauley-Stein (personal) is unavailable for Monday's contest. That being said, Maxi Kleber, Dwight Powell, and Marquese Chriss will be asked to play heavy minutes now. Kleber has the most upside out of the three and is worth streaming or using as a low cost DFS option for Monday's slate.

Sun Jan 2 202218:00Kristaps Porzingis Rests As Luka Doncic Returns
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (rest) will sit out Sunday's matchup against Oklahoma City, while three players return to action, with Luka Doncic among them. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Maxi Kleber are also set to play. The trio has been sitting in health and safety protocols, and Doncic also missed some time with an ankle sprain last month. It will be great to see him back out there, and hopefully, he's fully healed from the ankle issue. With Porzingis sidelined, the stage is perfectly set for Doncic to make a big comeback. Kleber also benefits from the Latvian's absence and should take on a lot of his minutes. Doncic's return is bad news for Jalen Brunson, although he should still play a significant role with Dallas missing a number of players.

Fri Dec 31 202120:26Kristaps Porzingis Puts In A Great All-Around Performance
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis was involved in everything on Friday against Sacramento, helping his side to a 112-96 victory with 24 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two blocks. He went a superb 8-for-14 from the floor with a 2-for-4 effort from deep and hit six of his seven free throws. Porzingis had a strong finish to 2021 with Luka Doncic (health and safety protocols) unavailable, going for at least 24 points in four consecutive games. The matchup against the Kings, who are hopeless against opposing bigs, was a very favorable one for Porzingis as well. Sunday's visit to Oklahoma City should bring him more success, as the Thunder sit among the worst rebounding teams in the league and their defensive play isn't good either.

Sat Dec 25 202121:18Kristaps Porzingis Active For Saturday
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis (toe) is available for Saturday's game against the Utah Jazz. The All-Star big man will return here after dealing with a sore toe and right foot issue. It doesn't sound like the team has any plans to limit Porzingis in this game. The Mavericks are already shorthanded due to protocols. That means, Porzingis should carry a heavy workload on offense. Fantasy managers should make sure he's in their lineups for Saturday.

Sat Dec 25 202101:01Kristaps Porzingis Questionable On Saturday Evening
Dallas Mavericks forward Kristaps Porzingis (toe) is questionable ahead of Saturday's contest against Utah. The 26-year-old has missed the previous two games because of a sore right toe. However, Porzingis had been flirting with a return on Thursday night against Milwaukee, so it appears that there is a good chance he could make it back for the short-handed Mavericks. Yet, if he can't, Jalen Brunson will likely remain the favorite to be the team's top fantasy producer, followed by Dorian Finney-Smith.

Thu Dec 23 202119:55Kristaps Porzingis Will Miss Thursday’s Game
Dallas Mavericks power forward Kristaps Porzingis (toe) has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Bucks due to a sore toe on his right foot. Porzingis will now have missed each of Dallas' past two games, with Sterling Brown likely to continue receiving a sizable minutes allotment in his absence. With Luka Doncic and Tim Hardaway Jr. (health and safety protocols) still down as well, Jalen Brunson and Dorian Finney-Smith are likely to see as much offensive usage as they can handle. Injuries have once again been a bugaboo for Porzingis, who has logged just 29.9 minutes per outing across his first 22 contests. His next chance to take the floor comes Christmas Day vs. Utah.

Tue Dec 21 202119:11Kristaps Porzingis Sitting Out On Tuesday
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis (toe) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Mavericks were already without three of their starters due to protocols. That being said, Dwight Powell and Boban Marjanovic will handle most of the frontcourt duties. Powell has a little more upside, but neither of them are fantastic streaming options. Also, Moses Brown and Marquese Chriss could see extra playing time as well, but aren't recommended options for Tuesday's slate.

Mon Dec 20 202120:21Kristaps Porzingis Could Miss Tuesday's Game
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (toe) is considered questionable for Tuesday's rematch with the Timberwolves. He exited Sunday's 111-105 loss to Minnesota in the third quarter with what was then called right foot soreness. We now know that he's dealing with right toe soreness if it makes any difference. The injury doesn't sound too bad and you would like to think the Mavs will do everything possible to keep Porzingis on the court with Luka Doncic (ankle) already out. They will be lacking frontcourt options as well after Maxi Kleber entered the health and safety protocols on Monday.

Tue Dec 14 202109:20Kristaps Porzingis Leads The Charge Against Charlotte
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis had a big role on both ends of the court in Monday's blowout win over Charlotte, leading all scorers with 24 points and swatting away five shots. He added 13 rebounds for a nice double-double in 25 minutes, shooting 7-for-16 from the field and 3-for-8 from outside with a 7-for-9 record at the line. Porzingis was back to his best here after failing to capitalize on Luka Doncic's (ankle) absence on Sunday against OKC. The Latvian will close the week with a pair of very favorable matchups against the Lakers and Minnesota, two teams that struggle against opposing bigs.

Wed Dec 8 202108:22Kristaps Porzingis Grabs A Double-Double In Comeback Game
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis ended a two-game absence with a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double in Tuesday's loss to the Nets, shooting 6-for-17 from the field and 1-for-5 from behind the arc. He also recorded five assists with one steal, one block and two turnovers. Porzingis now has six double-doubles in 16 games for the season. He's sadly very injury-prone, and the big guy could get a rest day on Wednesday, as the Mavericks face a battle against Memphis. There's another back-to-back set on the horizon as well and the team will definitely want to play it safe with Porzingis.

Tue Dec 7 202119:16Kristaps Porzingis Returns From A Two-Game Absence
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis will be back on the court in Tuesday's fascinating matchup against Brooklyn, ending a two-game absence. Maxi Kleber has logged 30-plus minutes in back-to-back games with Porzingis unavailable, but the German will now head back to the bench. It's likely that we sadly won't be seeing any Boban Marjanovic either. Brooklyn has defended well against opposing bigs this season, so this isn't a great comeback spot for Porzingis, but his presence will at least give Dallas a much better chance to get the win.

Mon Dec 6 202114:18Kristaps Porzingis Practices On Monday
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) was able to get through Monday's practice. However, it's uncertain if Porzingis will be available for Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. Star guard Luka Doncic (ankle) was able to practice as well, but it's unknown if he'll suit up on Tuesday. That being said, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jalen Brunson could be asked to carry the offense. Maxi Kleber would have some low cost DFS appeal without Porzingis on the court. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Tuesday for more information.

Sat Dec 4 202115:25Kristaps Porzingis To Miss Another One On Saturday
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) isn't available on Saturday against the Grizzlies. The veteran will miss his second straight outing because of a left knee contusion, and it comes on a night where Luka Doncic (ankle) and Willie Cauley-Stein (personal) are also out. As a result, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jalen Brunson should do most of the heavy lifting against Memphis, while Maxi Kleber could benefit offensively as well.

Fri Dec 3 202120:17Kristaps Porzingis Out Against Pelicans
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) is listed as out for Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. He appears to be dealing with a minor knee issue, so Porzingis will sit this one out as a precaution. Willie Cauley-Stein (personal) will join Porzingis on the sideline for this game. That means, Maxi Kleber and Dorian Finney-Smith will be asked to pick up the slack. Both are worth looking at as streaming options for Friday's slate.

Fri Dec 3 202114:39Kristaps Porzingis Doubtful Versus Pelicans
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. He was tagged as questionable earlier, but it sounds like Porzingis is headed towards sitting out. That wouldn't be shocking considering the Mavericks are normally cautious with him and it's the front end of a back-to-back set. His absence would give Maxi Kleber more playing time and make him worth a look as a streaming option. Also, Kleber could have some DFS value with Willie Cauley-Stein (personal) absent on Friday. That means, Kleber could be looking at heavy minutes.

Thu Dec 2 202115:16Kristaps Porzingis Tagged As Questionable For Friday
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The All-Star center was able to play on Wednesday despite a questionable tag. However, it wouldn't be shocking to see the Mavs rest him on Friday. They always seem to be cautious with their players. That being said, Maxi Kleber and Dorian Finney-Smith stand the gain the most value in the absence of Porzingis. Both players are worth a look as streaming options without Porzingis on the court.

Wed Dec 1 202119:01Kristaps Porzingis Will Play Wednesday, Has No Minutes Cap
Dallas Mavericks power forward Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) is a full go for Wednesday's game against New Orleans, as he will not face any minutes restriction despite battling a sprained right ankle. Porzingis had a dominant seven-game stretch in which he averaged 26 points and 9.3 boards from Nov. 10-23, showcasing his fantasy upside when healthy. His presence among the starting five stands to keep other Mavericks at their traditional usage level. While his scoring (19.6) and rebounding (7.9) averages are down early in the year, Porzingis remains a must-start fantasy cog whenever active.

Wed Dec 1 202114:01Kristaps Porzingis Should Play Wednesday
Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. He went through shootaround and felt some pain. However, it is much better than the days prior, so it sounds like he plans to play through his general soreness. However, the Mavericks are normally cautious with their players. Fantasy managers should check back closer to tip-off for more information.

Tue Nov 30 202120:32Kristaps Porzingis Receives Questionable Tag For Wednesday
Dallas Mavericks power forward Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) has been listed as questionable to participate in Wednesday's game against New Orleans due to a sprained right ankle. Porzingis missed five contests earlier in the season due to a back ailment, but he has delivered eight outings of at least 20 points since his return. An absence from Porzingis would open additional frontcourt opportunities for Maxi Kleber and Dorian Finney-Smith, while Luka Doncic and Tim Hardaway Jr. would garner additional offensive duties. Check back prior to tip-off to get the final word on Porzingis' status.
