The Clippers are hoping to sign free agent C Ryan Hollins.
The Clips hope to sign Hollins for a veteran's minimum contract for about $1.07 million. He last played for the Cavaliers and Celtics, and would simply be a backup for DeAndre Jordan in L.A.

Fri Jun 15 201210:51Ryan Hollins wants to re-sign with Celtics
Unrestricted free agent Ryan Hollins would like to re-sign with the Celtics.
Of course he would, but that doesn't make it a feasible scenario. "I would love to be here next season," said Hollins. Signed in late March after being waived by the Cavs, Hollins really didn't contribute much to the Celtics during his tenure in Boston. Hollins averaged just 2.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in 15 regular season games with the Celtics and did nothing to solve Boston's big man woes.

Sun Mar 25 201222:15Ryan Hollins debuts for Celtics on Sunday
Ryan Hollins made his Celtics debut on Sunday, scoring three points in 13 minutes off the bench.
Hollins never found favor with Byron Scott in Cleveland, but the Celtics are desperate for big men and plugged him right into the lineup. For his career he's averaged just 4.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 13 minutes per game, making him a desperation add in average leagues.

Sat Mar 24 201203:49Hollins makes Celtics debut on Friday
Ryan Hollins made his Celtics debut on Friday, scoring one point in three minutes.
Hollins is a mess, but he could get some run for the decimated Celtics if he can keep from making too many mistakes on the court. We'll let you know if that happens.

Fri Mar 23 201219:04F/C Ryan Hollins active for Celtics on Friday
Newly signed F/C Ryan Hollins is active for the Celtics on Friday against the 76ers.
The fact that Hollins is active one day after being signed shows how desperate the Celtics are for front court help. Hollins will be eased into the rotation behind Kevin Garnett and Greg Stiemsma.

Celtics signed F/C Ryan Hollins.
Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it's expected that his contract is for the remainder of the regular season. He will give Boston some much needed frontline depth behind Kevin Garnett and Greg Stiemsma.

Fri Mar 23 201208:01Ryan Hollins will dress for Celtics on Friday
Ryan Hollins will dress for the Celtics on Friday, but Doc Rivers isn't sure if he'll play.
The Celtics have yet to officially announce the signing of Hollins, but he's agreed to terms on a deal and Rivers acknowledged that he'll be on the bench Friday. The signing should become official at some point on Friday before the game against the Sixers, but Hollins won't have any fantasy value in Boston.

Thu Mar 22 201214:48Hollins deal could be done by today
The Celtics are currently working on a contract to sign free agent C Ryan Hollins.
Hollins cleared waivers at 2 p.m. ET. A deal could be done as soon as today. The Celtics are certainly thin up front after losing Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) and Chris Wilcox (heart) for the season, but Hollins' talent level is an issue for fantasy owners.

Thu Mar 22 201206:44Boston Celtics in the lead for Ryan Hollins
The Boston Celtics are reportedly in the lead to land Ryan Hollins.
Boston needs a big man horribly, and we have speculated that Hollins would wind up with the Celtics. A league source told the Boston Herald that Hollins is interested in the Celtics, and he'll join Boston "barring an offer he can't refuse from another club." The Pacers also have interest in Hollins with Jeff Foster being forced into retirement, but it sounds like Hollins is leaning toward joining the C's.

Wed Mar 21 201208:52Celtics expected to push for Ryan Hollins
The Celtics are expected to make a "strong push" for recently waived center Ryan Hollins.
Boston needs size in the worst way and Hollins is a legit seven-footer that the Celtics can plug in right away. We speculated yesterday that he could wind up with the Celtics, and it sounds like the team plans to investigate the possibility of adding him fairly thoroughly. The Celtics have also been linked to free agent Kyrylo Fesenko.

Tue Mar 20 201213:04Cavaliers decide to waive Ryan Hollins
Cavs waived C Ryan Hollins.
Hollins' deal is up at the end of the season but the Cavs decided not to wait any longer. Hollins hadn't played in the last two games and was averaging just 3.7 points and 2.3 rebounds this season. The seven-footer could latch on with a team looking for size beneath the basket, and the Celtics make a lot of sense with how badly Boston needs a center.

Mon Mar 5 201218:22Ryan Hollins draws another start
Ryan Hollins will start at center once again Monday.
Hollins logged 31 minutes on Saturday, posting 15 points, seven rebounds and no blocks. He did more than enough to keep Semih Erden on the pine. Alonzo Gee will also stick as the starting small forward ahead of Omri Casspi, as expected.

Sat Mar 3 201222:09Ryan Hollins scores 15 pts in start for Cavs
Starting at center for the depleted Cavaliers, Ryan Hollins posted 15 points and seven rebounds, shooting 5-of-7 from the field and 5-of-8 from the FT line.
Hollins started more because of Semih Erden's poor play than anything he did himself, but this line should assure that he keeps the starting gig. He's unlikely to have consistent value in average leagues, but the Cavs simply don't have a reliable answer at center while Anderson Varejao is sidelined.

Sat Feb 11 201222:16Ryan Hollins out of Cavaliers' rotation
Ryan Hollins didn't get off the Cavaliers' bench until garbage time on Saturday, despite the absence of Anderson Varejao.
This game says plenty about Byron Scott's faith in Hollins, which approaches absolute zero. Ignore him until he cracks the rotation.

Fri Jun 24 201118:07Ryan Hollins picks up option w/ Cavs
Cavs big man Ryan Hollins has picked up his $2.5 million player option for next season.
Hollins remains an intriguing seven-footer, but at 26 years old we're not expecting him to develop much further. With the Cavs frontcourt decimated last season, he still barely had deep-league appeal.

Thu Apr 14 201112:24Hollins wants to be back in CLE
Ryan Hollins, who has a $2.48 million player option for next season, said he wants to be back in Cleveland.
Hollins knows that he won't do any better than $2.48 million on the open market. The 7-footer appeared in 70 games for the Cavs this season, averaging just 16.9 minutes per game.

Wed Apr 13 201117:45Cavs' Hollins appears to avoid suspension
Indications are that Ryan Hollins has avoided a suspension for his role in an altercation with Charlie Villanueva on Monday night.
It should be safe to use Hollins on Wednesday if you've been starting him in a deeper fantasy league. The Cavs' starting center has averaged 10.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in seven games this month.

Mon Apr 11 201123:12Ryan Hollins perfect from the floor in win
Ryan Hollins went 5-of-5 from the floor in Monday's win, chipping in 12 points, five rebounds, an assist, a steal and two blocks in 23 minutes.
Hollins also managed to get under Charlie Villanueva's skin, to say the least. Both players were ejected in an incident that is sure to draw more attention from league officials on Tuesday, and it wouldn't be surprising to see both punished to some extent.

Tue Apr 5 201122:07Hollins cruises as Cavs beat Cats 99-89
Ryan Hollins was perfect in Tuesday night's win over Charlotte, posting 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting with two rebounds, a block and a steal in 31 minutes.
It's a nice line for the scrawny center, but it's more of an anomaly than anything else. Owners have to to be absolutely desperate to deploy him, and we wouldn't recommend playing him on most nights.
