Taylor will start in center field and bat leadoff Saturday against the Phillies.
With Denard Span (back) still unable to go, Taylor will be afforded a second straight start atop the order and his 13th start in the leadoff spot this season. Taylor is batting .284 with a .314 OBP this month (87 PA), swiping four bags with one homer.

Taylor went 2-for-4 Tuesday with a run scored, an RBI and his eighth stolen base of the season.
The rookie appears to be getting comfortable in left field, slashing .290/.324/.362 in 69 June at-bats with a home run and four steals. Taylor's even reined in his strikeout rate a little this month. Until Jayson Werth returns from his wrist injury Taylor should continue to get regular at-bats, and he could be worth picking up in shallower leagues if you need help in SBs.

Taylor entered Wednesday's game against the Yankees as a defensive replacement and ended up socking a two-run homer in the eighth inning.
Clint Robinson started in left field, but was replace by Taylor for defensive reasons in the seventh inning. Of course, Robinson hasn't provided more offense than Taylor in the first place -- a good argument for the high-upside youngster to see everyday playing time while Jayson Werth is on the DL. Of course, manager Matt Williams may not see it that way.
Wed Jun 10 201511:53Taylor out of lineup Wednesday
Taylor is out of the lineup Wednesday, MASN's Dan Kolko reports.
Denard Span returned to the lineup, and Clint Robinson will get the start in left field. Taylor is still the third Nationals outfielder worth using in fantasy with Jayson Werth out, but he won't be in the lineup every day.
Tue Jun 9 201518:19Taylor added to Tuesday's starting lineup in place of Denard Spa...
Taylor was added to Tuesday's starting lineup in place of Denard Span (back), Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
Span was set to start Tuesday's game in center field, but the Nationals decided to scratch him after posting their original lineup, and it will now be Taylor manning center field Tuesday night. He will bat ninth against Yankees starter Masahiro Tanaka.
Fri Jun 5 201500:22Taylor 3-4 with steal Thursday against Cubs
Taylor went 3-for-4 with a steal Thursday against the Cubs.
Unfortunately, he was able to neither drive in nor score any runs. But Taylor's been hitting when he gets in the lineup lately, and his power-speed combo should at least serve NL-only owners well while he's getting semi-consistent time in the Washington outfield.
Wed Jun 3 201516:08Taylor not in lineup for Wednesday's game against Blue Jays
Taylor is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, James Wagner of the Washington Post reports.
Taylor will be held out Wednesday after starting each of the last five games. He tallied four hits and five RBI over those five games, so he figures to be back in the lineup for the Nationals' next game Thursday.
Sat May 30 201521:57Taylor 1-3 Saturday with three-run home run, fourth blast of sea...
Taylor went 1-for-3 Saturday with a three-run home run, his fourth blast of the season.
He's slashing just .216/.273/.392 on the year, but Taylor is still capable of taking a mistake pitch for a long ride. The rookie's defense may give him a slight edge for playing time in left field while Jayson Werth (wrist) is out of action, but don't expect a lot of production from him.
Sat May 30 201514:57Taylor late addition to Nationals' lineup Saturday
Taylor was a late addition to the Nationals' lineup Saturday.
Bryce Harper was scratched with a sore back so Clint Robinson will move to right field and Taylor will play left field and hit eighth. Haprer's injury does not appear to be serious, but Taylor will still get plenty of starts with Jayson Werth out.
Sat May 30 201512:22Taylor out of lineup Saturday
Taylor is out of the lineup Saturday.
He is hitless in his last four games and is hitting just .214 on the season. With Jayson Werth out for an extended period of time Taylor should get his fair share of starts in left field, but he has not hit enough to warrant being in the lineup every day. Clint Robinson will get the start and hit sixth Saturday.
Fri May 22 201515:03Taylor out of lineup Friday
Taylor is out of the lineup Friday, the Washington Post's Chelsea Janes reports.
He has been starting on a regular basis with Jayson Werth out, but has just one hit in his last four starts. Clint Robinson will get the start in left field Friday.
Wed May 20 201509:55Taylor got start in left field on Tuesday, but 0-4 with three st...
Taylor got the start in left field on Tuesday, but went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts.
He's likely to get the bulk of the playing time in left while Jayson Werth (wrist) is on the DL, but Taylor's .238/.289/.417 slash line and 33 K's in 84 at-bats are a good sign that you shouldn't expect much production out of the rookie while he's starting.
Wed May 13 201520:10Taylor entered Wednesday's game in place of ejected Bryce Harper...
Taylor entered Wednesday's game in place of an ejected Bryce Harper and hit a game-winning grand slam off Diamondbacks closer Addison Reed in the ninth inning.
Taylor doesn't get a lot of playing time, but he's been pretty productive when he has, having tallied three homers, 13 RI and three steals in just 71 at-bats this year. Unfortunately, without a regular spot in the Nationals' lineup, his value is largely limited to NL-only and keeper leagues.
Mon May 11 201518:41Taylor not in lineup Monday against Diamondbacks
Taylor is not in the lineup Monday against the Diamondbacks, Mark Zuckerman of CSN reports.
Taylor notched the start in center field Sunday as Denard Span rested, but he'll return to the bench after going 1-for-3 with two strikeouts Sunday. On the season, Taylor is 18-for-68 (.265) at the dish with nine RBI and 26 strikeouts.
Sun May 10 201511:57Taylor will start in center field Sunday against Braves
Taylor will start in center field Sunday against the Braves, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
Taylor will get his third start in five games with left-hander Alex Wood on the mound for Atlanta. The young center fielder will give manager Matt Williams a slightly better matchup than Denard Span, who is 2-for-13 in his career against Wood.
Wed May 6 201511:31Taylor will make second straight start in left field on Wednesda...
Taylor will make a second straight start in left field on Wednesday and bat eighth.
Jayson Werth is struggling right now, so Taylor will get the nod once again. The rookie is hitting a relatively modest .258/.303/.452 in 62 at-bats this season and went 0-for-3 with a walk and two K's on Tuesday, but Taylor has a potentially more favorable matchup on Wednesday against Marlins hurler Tom Koehler.
Fri May 1 201516:56Taylor in lineup for Friday's game against Mets
Taylor is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mets.
With Denard Span injured, Taylor will take over center field, and hit leadoff in Friday's game. Though hitting first will allow him to maximize his at-bats, Taylor has hit just .194 from the leadoff spot this season, and will also be facing Mets ace Matt Harvey.
Wed Apr 29 201514:40Taylor officially recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday
Taylor was officially recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.
It was already announced that Taylor would be added to the 25-man roster, so the recall comes as no surprise. The team placed Reed Johnson on the 15-day DL in a corresponding move, leaving Taylor as the primary backup at all three outfield spots.
Wed Apr 29 201513:45Michael Taylor: Will Be Recalled From Triple-A
Taylor will likely be recalled by the Nationals in the near future, according to James Wagner of the Washington Post.
The Nationals have not commented on Taylor's status, but he is joining the team in Atlanta on Wednesday, so it seems he will take the roster spot of Reed Johnson, who is out indefinitely after suffering a foot injury Tuesday. Taylor saw regular action for the Nationals for the first couple weeks of the season, but if he is indeed called up, he will play a part-time role this time around with Denard Span healthy.
Sun Apr 19 201511:01Taylor optioned to Triple-A Syracuse
Taylor has been optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.
With Denard Span coming off the DL to take over center field duties, the Nationals elected to send Taylor down to get regular playing time. In 12 games this season with Washington, he hit .271/.314/.500 with two home runs and two steals, but also struck out 19 times in 51 at-bats.
