Sun Mar 23 201414:14Xavier Henry (wrist) out on Sunday vs. Magic
Xavier Henry is out for Sunday's game vs. the Magic after an MRI revealed a torn ligament in his left wrist, however, he told coach Mike D'Antoni he believes he can play on Tuesday vs. the Knicks.
What a player says and what actually happens are often two different things, but we'll keep you posted of any updates regarding Henry's status. For now, Wes Johnson and Kent Bazemore will pick up the additional minutes left in Henry's absence.

Sat Mar 22 201421:32Xavier Henry has torn ligament in wrist
An MRI on Saturday revealed Xavier Henry suffered a torn ligament in his left wrist.
He can't catch a break this season. Henry had a knee issue back in December and his prognosis kept getting pushed back and now this wrist issue could end his season. Henry's timetable will be released after he sees a hand specialist in the coming days. Wes Johnson and Kent Bazemore could pick up some extra minutes with Henry down again. Plus, the Lakers also lose another ball handler.

Sat Mar 22 201415:32Xavier Henry is a game-time call on Sunday
Xavier Henry (left wrist) is a game-time decision to face the Magic on Sunday.
He skipped practice on Saturday to receive an MRI and those results have yet to be released. If they come back clean, Henry should be able to give it a go off the bench. He has played well in his two games since returning from injury, but fantasy owners can probably do better especially with Wes Johnson (illness) set to come back.

Sat Mar 22 201413:14Xavier Henry to have MRI on sore left wrist
Xavier Henry (left wrist) will have a precautionary MRI on Saturday.
Henry hurt himself during Friday's game but X-rays were negative and he's confident that the tests won't reveal any structural damage. "It's pretty sore and tender, but what can I do," Henry said. "I just have to battle through this as well." He's already playing on a sore knee and with Nick Young back in action there's not much upside for Henry regardless of his test results.

Thu Mar 20 201402:01Xavier Henry scores 24 points to lead Lakers
Xavier Henry hit 9-of-22 shots and a 3-pointer for 24 points and four rebounds off the bench on Wednesday.
Henry hadn't scored more than seven points in his previous three games, but decided to fire at will tonight. Keep an eye on him, but don't expect him to play like this often as long as he's coming off the bench.

Sat Mar 8 201400:49Henry logs 31 minutes off the bench on Friday
Xavier Henry logged 31 minutes off the bench in Friday's game, scoring 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting with five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Henry saw extra minutes with the game being out of reach for most of the night and put up a bit better line in Thursday's laugher. He has major fantasy deficiencies that destroy his value but if you're looking for some popcorn stats and this type of run continues down the road, then maybe he'll be worth a look. Maybe.

Fri Mar 7 201401:51Xavier Henry scores 15 in ugly Lakers loss
Xavier Henry hit 5-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 15 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal in 19 minutes of Thursday's historic 142-94 loss to the Clippers.
It was the biggest win in Clips history, and the biggest loss in Lakers history. Henry is going to likely continue to see a bump in minutes now that he's healthy, with Jordan Farmar, Jodie Meeks and Wes Johnson all potentially seeing a minutes hit in the process. But for now, Henry is at the bottom of the ladder and we're not ready to try to predict what changes the Lakers will make after tonight's embarrassing performance.

Thu Mar 6 201411:27Xavier Henry feeling better with each game
Xavier Henry (knee) said he is feeling better every time he steps on the court.
After missing two months with a bone bruise and abnormal meniscus in his right knee, Henry followed up a scoreless game on Monday with 12 points in Tuesday's loss to New Orleans. "I don't have my usual bounce that I have. I'm continuing to strengthen my knee and hopefully soon I'll be jumping how I usually jump," Henry said. "I'm not more tentative. I'm just playing the game smart right now." Unfortunately for his owners, Henry is towards the back end of Mike D'Antoni's crowded rotation and won't provide much fantasy value this season.

Tue Mar 4 201400:39Henry returns to action on Monday
Xavier Henry (knee) returned to action on Monday in a five-minute effort off the bench.
Henry's knee issues will likely dog him for the rest of his career and it's hard to see him getting much run as low man on the Totem pole.

Sun Mar 2 201414:17Xavier Henry (knee) may soon rejoin Lakers
Xavier Henry scored 19 points in his second game with the Lakers' D-League affiliate on Saturday.
The Lakers haven't had much practice time lately, so Henry is using D-League games to regain his conditioning and test the health of his right knee. He's been out since late December due to a bone bruise and an "abnormality" in his meniscus, but it appears he may join the Lakers as soon as Monday. He's worth keeping an eye on, but fantasy value may be hard to come by with Kent Bazemore, Jodie Meeks, Jordan Farmar and Wesley Johnson all healthy.

Thu Feb 27 201414:50Xavier Henry (knee) rehabbing in D-League
Xavier Henry (knee) will play for the Lakers' D-League affiliate on Thursday.
It's essentially a rehab assignment for Henry, who has been sidelined for nearly two months with a severe bone bruise. Even when he rejoins the Lakers he won't have much fantasy appeal with Kent Bazemore getting plenty of minutes and Nick Young (knee) possibly returning on Friday.

Wed Feb 26 201409:44Xavier Henry (knee) aims to play next week
Xavier Henry (knee) plans to go through full-court five-on-five drills this weekend, possibly clearing the way for a return next week.
Henry has been out since Dec. 29 due to a bone bruise in his knee, but he's been practicing since Saturday and doesn't seem to have had any setbacks. Nick Young (knee) may also return as soon as Friday's home game, so the Lakers may get a much-needed infusion of healthy wing players in the near future.

Sat Feb 22 201416:15Xavier Henry practices, still a week away
Xavier Henry (knee) went through a full practice on Saturday and will need a least one week before he can return to game action, according to coach Mike D'Antoni.
Anytime Henry has progress and doesn't have a setback is a good day. He's been out since December due to his knee injury and was originally expected to miss just 7-10 days. The Lakers are getting some production out of the guys they're using now, so fantasy owners can ignore the low-upside Henry.

Sat Feb 22 201400:16Xavier Henry cleared for basketball activity
Xavier Henry (knee) was cleared for basketball activities on Friday.
He's had his timetable pushed back or needed to be re-evaluated more times than you can count on one hand, so it's hard to get very excited about Henry returning. He doesn't have a game that translates to fantasy anyway, but it'll be nice to see him back on the court.

Tue Feb 18 201417:42Xavier Henry (knee) re-evaluated Friday
Xavier Henry will have his right knee re-evaluated on Friday.
He had his knee drained last Wednesday and was expected to miss about a month, so his re-evaluation isn't a hotly anticipated event.

Wed Feb 12 201415:01Xavier Henry (knee) out four more weeks
Xavier Henry is having his right knee drained on Wednesday and is expected to miss the next four weeks.
He's having some really bad luck this season. Henry was only expected to be out for 7-10 days back in December and he's possibly going to miss the rest of the season at this point. He had some health issue entering the season hopefully he'll be in better shape in 2014-14. To be clear, there's still a chance he can make it back in March, but is not worth owning in fantasy leagues.

Mon Feb 10 201415:35Xavier Henry doing some light workouts
Xavier Henry (knee) was doing some light workouts on the side of Monday's practice.
Specifically, he was doing some medicine ball exercises and was on the court doing some drills without contact. Henry is expected to miss this week and should be considered questionable with his knee problem. He's been out since December and has no fantasy value.

Sun Feb 9 201414:35Xavier Henry likely out through the break
Xavier Henry (knee) is likely out through the All-Star break.
His timetable keeps getting pushed back. Henry was expected to miss just 7-10 days way back on Dec. 30 and he's likely going to be out for almost two whole months. The Lakers haven't really been missing him and he has no fantasy value right now based on his sub-par percentages.
