Harrison (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of the 2015 season, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Harrison, considered the Brewers' No. 3 prospect by MLB.com, sustained a broken ankle Tuesday while rounding third base and underwent surgery Wednesday to repair the fracture. While the team is yet to offer an official statement, Harrison will not play again this season and will instead set his sights on the start of the 2016 campaign. A second-round pick in the 2014 Amateur Draft, Harrison was hitting .299 with 13 RBI and 14 steals in 28 games at rookie-level Helena. He also spent time at Low-A Wisconsin, where he struggled to a .148/.246/.247 slash line in 46 games.

Harrison suffered a broken ankle Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
After posting a .299/.405/.474 slash line at rookie-level Helena with 13 steals, Harrison will be out for the foreseeable future due to a broken ankle. Harrison slipped and fell awkwardly while rounding third base and was visibly in pain as he was tagged out. There is no timetable on his recovery at this point, but a broken ankle could have him miss a considerable amount of time.

Harrison left Tuesday's game after slipping while rounding third base.
The 2014 second rounder in the Brewers' organization suffered a "pretty serious looking twist of the leg" during Tuesday's game and had to be removed from the contest. There is still no official diagnosis on Harrison's injury, but more information should be made available in the coming days.

Harrison supplied five base hits and stole two bases for rookie-level Helena on Friday night.
The five hits surpassed Harrison's previous career best in the minors by two, but it would probably be premature to say that the speedy 19-year-old has found his hitting stroke just yet. After struggling at Low-A Wisconsin earlier this season to earn a demotion, Harrison is only slashing .228/.333/.404 through 14 games at Helena.

Harrison will be reassigned to rookie-level Helena when the club begins play in a few weeks, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Harrison, a second-round pick in the 2014 first-year player draft, has proven unprepared for Midwest League competition in his first year with a full-season affiliate. The 19-year-old has hit just .143/.245/.236 with a whopping 69 strikeouts in 140 at-bats with Low-A Wisconsin, so the team will hit the restart button with both Harrison and Jake Gatewood. Brewers farm director Reid Nichols stressed that the players shouldn't view this as a major setback, pointing to Clint Coulter -- whom the team did the same thing with in 2013 -- as an example of why this may be the best thing for their development.

Harrison, 19, is slashing .161/.273/.539 over 143 plate appearances with Low-A Wisconsin.
A second-round draft choice by the Brewers last summer out of high school, Harrison has experienced tremendous contact issues (43.4 K%) at Low-A Wisconsin, but his youth relative to level excuses some of his struggles. Despite being years away from making an impact with the big club, Harrison remains one of the Brewers' most intriguing prospects due to his considerable speed, which allowed him to steal 32 bases in 34 attempts in just 50 games of rookie ball last season.
