Burke will get the start at point guard Tuesday against New York, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

With Gordon Hayward out tonight with a back injury, Quin Snyder is mixing Burke into the starting lineup. With Burke's start at point guard, Dante Exum will start at shooting guard.

Burke scored 16 points (7-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT) with eight assists and six rebounds in 32 minutes off the bench Wednesday.

Dante Exum continues to get the starts at point guard, but Burke continues to out-play the rookie on most nights, including this one. Burke's now averaging 15.9 points, 4.3 assists, 2.9 boards and 1.9 threes over his last eight games.

Burke come off the bench Saturday, but did start the second-half, scoring 23 points (8-19 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with three rebounds, six assists and one steal in 36 minutes.

At this point, despite being the backup in name, Burke is close to must-own player. He is averaging 18.2 points, 2.2 three-pointers, 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 29 minutes in his last five games, even shooting 47 percent from the field. Contrast that to his season mark of 38 percent and you need to factor in some regression into his performance, but for now, adding Burke is the smart move for most leagues.

Burke scored a team-high 23 points (9-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 Ft) with two assists in 28 minutes off the bench Monday.

He's now scored at least 16 points in three straight games, as Burke continues to adjust to life as a sixth man instead of the Jazz's starting point guard.

He has been getting a good amount of playing time and he's been getting a ton of shots for a bench player (12.6 over his last 5) but the problem has been connecting on those attempts. Burke is shooting 32 percent from the field this month.

Burke went cold Friday, shooting 2-for-13 from the floor in a loss to the Suns, finishing the game with five points, three rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 26 minutes off the bench.

Burke had been playing well off the bench while rookie Dante Exum started. Burke has struggled shooting throughout his young career, but Friday's game broke a seven-game streak when Burke had scored double-digit points in every game. Exum hasn't been putting up amazing numbers as the starter, so owners will want to monitor both players' numbers going forward.

Burke had 18 points (7-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six assists, and two rebounds in 34 minutes off the bench Tuesday against Portland.

Dante Exum got the start at point guard once again, but Burke played 14 more minutes than the rookie. While Burke's shooting has been poor lately, shooting just 38% over his last five games, he is still getting a ton of shots and has scored in double figures in each of those contests. He carries a relatively low price in daily leagues for his production.

Burke came off the bench in Wednesday's loss to the Clippers, finishing with 11 points (4-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes.

Burke has played more minutes than starter Dante Exum for the second game straight, and was more effective than him again as well. He'll stick with the second unit for the foreseeable future, but with the amount of minutes he's getting, he's still worth a look in the deeper leagues.

Burke found his groove off the bench Saturday, taking advantage of a reeling Brooklyn Nets team and making four of his seven shots from beyond the arc. Burke had stepped his scoring average in January (14.8 points per game), but hasn't been much better from the field this month (39.0 percent). He remains a deep league option in most fantasy leagues for the time being.

Burke will continue coming off the bench against the Nets on Saturday, The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Burke lost his spot in the starting lineup to rookie Dante Exum for the being while coach Quin Snyder tinkers with his rotations. This certainly means that Burke's value will take a small dip, although Snyder stated Saturday that he'll continue to play around with the lineups throughout the season, leaving the door open for Burke to regain his spot as a starter at some point in the future.

Burke was benched for rookie Dante Exum but still got a decent amount of playing time. Exum played well, but its unclear whether Burke's benching will last longer than just this game. We'll know more once the lineup is announced for Saturday's game against Brooklyn.

Burke will come off the bench during Thursday's contest at Milwaukee, the Jazz's official site reports.

Because the Jazz are currently without Derrick Favors (personal), Alec Burks (shoulder), and Rodney Hood (foot), coach Quin Snyder believed that an offensively-challenged bench unit required a boost. Thus, the decision was made to exchange Dante Exum for Burke in the starting lineup. Burke has started every game in which he's appeared this season, so it remains to be seen how much of his typical 32 minutes per game will be handed to Exum. However, with few offensive threats among the rest of the bench, Burke could experience a bump in his scoring average (12.5 points per outing).

Burke scored 2 points (1-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt) with two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 19 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Cavaliers.

Burke's 19 minutes were a season low and we have not heard of any injury concerns coming out of the game. We will just put this down as a poor showing for the young point guard.

Burke scored 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go with five rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 38 minutes against the Thunder Friday.

Burke has stepped it up over the last couple weeks. This was his third 20-point game in his last five outings, and he is averaging 4.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.2 threes during that span. His value is significantly higher right now than it has been for most of the season.

Burke returned Wednesday and finished with 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT) three rebounds, four assists and three turnovers in 33 minutes in Chicago against the Bulls.

Burke missed Mondays game against the Indiana Pacers with strep throat, but was ready to go Wednesday. His 33 minutes were right in line what he has been averaging this season (32 minutes per game).

Burke (illness) will play Wednesday against Chicago, Aaron Falk of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Burke came down with a case of strep throat over the weekend and sat out Monday's loss to the Pacers. After resting Tuesday, he'll return to action Wednesday and should reclaim his starting spot from Dante Exum.

In his stead, Dante Exum will earn his first career start.
