Sun Feb 9 201418:14Jordan Hill coming back from the dead
Jordan Hill scored 15 points with nine boards, two assists and two steals in 26 minutes against the Bulls on Sunday.
This is what we've been waiting for and he's now played well in each of his last two games since returning from a neck injury on Friday. His 26 minutes today were his second-highest total in 2014 and more time should go his way based on his performance and with Pau Gasol (groin) out for a while. He's worth a look for owners who are not afraid to roll the dice and put their fantasy team's fate in the hands of coach Mike D'Antoni.

Fri Feb 7 201422:25Hill (neck) goes for 14 and six in return
Jordan Hill (neck) returned to action after a two-game absence on Friday against the Sixers, scoring 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting with six rebounds and a block in 20 minutes.
If we could guarantee Hill's health we'd be much more bullish about picking him up, but the durability issues and lack of certainty about Pau Gasol's (groin) future make him just a mid-level pickup in standard leagues. Owners comparing workloads between Hill, Robert Sacre (23 minutes) and Chris Kaman (25 minutes) should note the opponent and know that things could completely change against a tougher opponent.

Fri Feb 7 201412:20Jordan Hill will play against Sixers
Jordan Hill (neck) will play in Friday's game against the Sixers.
Hill returns after missing just one game with his strain. He's certainly more talented than Robert Sacre, but coach Mike D'Antoni has been hesitant to give Hill big minutes. We'd expect him to be the second big off the bench along with Chris Kaman. Hill should be on watch lists, not in starting lineups.

Wed Feb 5 201422:35Jordan Hill says he'll play on Friday night
Jordan Hill (neck, head) said he expected to play against the Sixers on Friday night.
He was a game-time call for Wednesday and hopefully a couple days will be enough for him to recover. Specifically, Hill has a cervical stinger and would likely be the main big man off the bench, especially with Chris Kaman fouling everything with a basketball right now. He's worth a look in some formats.

Wed Feb 5 201418:54Jordan Hill will not play against the Cavs
Jordan Hill (head) will not play against the Cavs on Wednesday night.
He should be considered questionable for vs. the Sixers. Robert Sacre should get as many minutes as he can handle while Chris Kaman will be a big part of the interior output on both ends for the second unit. Hill's season has gone south since a terrific start and he has very little fantasy value in standard leagues at this point.

Wed Feb 5 201415:06Jordan Hill is a game-time call Wednesday
Jordan Hill (head) is a game-time decision to face the Cavs on Wednesday.
He suffered a head and neck injury on Tuesday night after just four minutes of action. The Lakers are going to have to put together some combination of Robert Sacre, Chris Kaman and Hill to replace Pau Gasol's 31.9 minutes per game, so they need Hill a little more than usual. He may have the highest upside of the trio, but he's a risky add to say the least. If he can't go Robert Sacre should get plenty of burn in the starting lineup.

Tue Feb 4 201420:35Jodan Hill suffers head injury Tuesday
Jordan Hill suffered a head injury in the first quarter on Tuesday, was attended to on the bench and then went to the locker room.
We're guessing he'll try to return to action tonight, but if he doesn't, Chris Kaman and Robert Sacre will handle the center duties the rest of the way.

Sat Feb 1 201401:54Hill held scoreless, but could get more mins
Jordan Hill posted just three rebounds in 12 minutes on Friday, but could see more playing time if Pau Gasol misses time with a groin and/or foot injury.
Hill had 10 and 12 with a block in 29 minutes on Tuesday and chances are he wasn't on many rosters during the Lakers' two-game week. Even after an awful outing like this, owners that aren't stacked should give him a look in all formats with Gasol's future full of question marks.

Wed Jan 29 201402:35Jordan Hill goes for 10 & 12 in 29 minutes
Jordan Hill had 10 points, 12 rebounds and a block in 29 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Pacers.
He started the second half over Ryan Kelly and played well, but it's anyone's guess if he'll start or come off the bench in the next one. Pau Gasol is dealing with a groin injury and if he is shut down, Hill should become a hot pickup in fantasy leagues once again.

Fri Jan 24 201421:53Hill gets double-digit rebounds on Friday
Jordan Hill grabbed 10 rebounds to go with six points and a block over 20 minutes in Friday's loss.
Hill hit 3-of-7 shots from the field and while the numbers look great given the minutes the needle doesn't really move for Hill. Now that Mike D'Antoni has a stretch forward to play with in Ryan Kelly it's going to be that much harder for him to return to his early season form.

Thu Jan 23 201422:43Jordan Hill gets 22 minutes, scores eight
Jordan Hill saw a little extra playing time on Thursday with 22 minutes against the Heat, scoring eight points with seven boards, one block and one steal.
He's only played just 12.7 minutes over his previous three, so this was a bit of an unexpected increase. Hill may have been used more tonight in a matchup against the smaller Heat lineup, so he's still a long way from being a consistent asset in fantasy leagues.

Sun Jan 19 201415:40Jordan Hill plays 11 minutes vs. Raptors
Jordan Hill played 11 minutes vs. the Raptors on Sunday with six points and five boards.
He moved back to the bench on Sunday and it's not good news for his playing time with Ryan Kelly having a nice game. Hill owners have been losing their minds over the inconsistent minutes, so this shouldn't be surprising. We'll let you know if he's worth owning again.

Fri Jan 17 201422:45Jordan Hill benched after just 11 minutes
Jordan Hill started at PF on Friday but was quickly benched in favor of rookie Ryan Kelly, and he finished the Lakers' road victory with just two points, one rebound and one block in 11 minutes.
Mike D'Antoni saw a matchup he didn't like and/or decided to ride the hot hand, as he has all season long, and L.A. wound up winning for the first time in seven games. Fantasy owners should remain very skeptical of Hill's game-to-game value, given that he's topped 30 minutes in one game since late November.

Thu Jan 16 201410:31Lakers concerned Hill may get suspension
The Lakers are concerned Jordan Hill may be handed a one-game suspension.
Hill left the Lakers bench during a skirmish in the middle of Wednesday's game against the Suns and the Lakers are concerned the league may force him to sit one game for his actions. Hill had his most productive game of 2014 Wednesday night, but his fantasy value is a bit limited by the fact that he hasn't played more than 22 minutes since late December. If Hill is forced to miss any action, Ryan Kelly and Chris Kaman would see a bump in minutes.

Thu Jan 16 201401:38Hill getting back on track for the Lakers
Jordan Hill continued to get back on track in Wednesday's loss, scoring eight points on 4-of-10 shooting with 10 rebounds and two blocks in 22 minutes.
Hill hasn't been great lately but at least he has shown signs of life, and this effort should be enough to get him added in most standard formats. Whether or not he can keep it up is a bit of a question mark given the way Mike D'Antoni has used him over the past few weeks.

Thu Jan 9 201400:00Jordan Hill plays 22 minutes vs. Houston
Jordan Hill played 22 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday with 10 points, eight boards and one block.
Coach Mike D'Antoni gave Hill a little extra burn compared to 17.7 minutes per game over his previous 10. Hill's stats have really fallen off and he hasn't topped 22 minutes in any of his last five games. He could heat up at some point and does have some upside, but the lack of minutes keep him from ownership in standard leagues.

Mon Jan 6 201401:10Jordan Hill plays just 12 minutes vs. Denver
Jordan Hill played just 12 minutes in Sunday's 137-115 loss to the Nuggets with nine points, three boards and one assist.
He's played just 11.7 minutes per game in the three outings with Pau Gasol in the lineup, so Hill's outlook is looking a little bleak right now. Something will likely need to happen to the Lakers rotation -- maybe a trade or an injury -- which makes it tough to keep him owned in standard leagues.

Sat Jan 4 201402:52Hill plays just 11 minutes on Friday vs. Jazz
Jordan Hill played just 11 minutes on Friday against the Jazz, scoring two points on 1-of-7 shooting with five rebounds and no steals or blocks.
Perhaps it was the crooked shooting line that got him benched but more than likely he's dealing with durability issues, as the Jazz have no shortage of big men that he could have been useful against. Owners should simply consider Hill to be a low-to-mid level stash with the hopes he can return to early season form.

Wed Jan 1 201401:29Jordan Hill plays just 12 minutes vs. Bucks
Jordan Hill played just 12 minutes off the bench against the Bucks on Tuesday with four points, four boards and two fouls.
The Lakers were down big in a hurry and coach Mike D'Antoni kept Hill on the bench for most of this game. The Lakers had no interior presence on offense with just 26 points in the paint and they're not going to win many games with that style. Hill's upside makes him a nice stash, but we wouldn't consider him a must-own player in standard leagues.

Mon Dec 30 201300:35Jordan Hill posts 18 & 13 in start on Sunday
Jordan Hill had 18 points, 13 rebounds, one steal and one block in a start on Sunday, as the Lakers fell at home to the visiting 76ers.
"[Hill] is an energy guy. I think his best position is coming in [off the bench] and giving us spurts," Mike D'Antoni said before the game. He was forced to start Hill because Pau Gasol (illness) was sidelined and Chris Kaman (ankle) was limited off the bench, but fantasy owners can expect him to shift back to the bench once L.A.'s big men return to health.
