Thu Aug 8 201322:52Zach McAllister has ugly inning in loss
Zach McAllister was roughed up by the Tigers on Thursday, surrendering six runs in 2 1/3 innings.
McAllister retired six of the first seven hitters he faced before it all blew up on him in the third, when he walked four and gave up three hits. The Indians might benefit from having Danny Salazar replace McAllister in the rotation, but it's unlikely that they will, what with Salazar's innings limit coming up. And McAllister has hardly been bad with his 4.01 ERA this year. He's gone six straight starts without allowing a homer.

McAllister's peripherals aren't very impressive, but he has a 3.48 ERA after 13 starts. If the Indians were to go get a starter in a trade, he'd be the obvious choice to be replaced. Still, it's more likely that they'll stick with the current group.
