Arroyo is dealing with an elbow injury but he is expected to return to action soon, San Jose Giants play-by-play announcer Joe Ritzo reports.

He took some swings during batting practice with High-A San Jose, but he will not play in Saturday's game. Arroyo, who left Friday's game with the injury, is one of, if not the best position player prospect in the Giants system but he is a couple years away from the big leagues.

Arroyo, 20, is slashing .319/.361/.477 with six homers and five steals in 301 plate appearances with High-A San Jose.

Arroyo also has 22 doubles this season, demonstrating some solid gap power for a shortstop. The barrier to entry as a useful fantasy shortstop is so low that Arroyo has a chance to make it as an average or better option in time. Granted, that opportunity may not come with the Giants, but he is still a player to watch in deeper dynasty leagues.
