Matt Magill yielded three runs in five innings Friday in a no-decision against the Marlins.
Injuries forced the Dodgers to give Magill another start tonight, but he's not long for the rotation, not with Zack Greinke probably returning next week.

Sun May 5 201301:30Matt Magill gets roughed up by Giants
Matt Magill was lit up for five runs in 1 1/3 innings by the Giants on Saturday.
Magill turned in a successful debut against the Brewers a week earlier, but pitching on six days' rest, he struggled right from the get go tonight. The Dodgers have Thursday off, so they might opt to send Magill down and go without a fifth starter for the time being.

Sun Apr 28 201301:01Matt Magill strikes out seven in debut
Matt Magill surrendered two runs over 6 2/3 innings Saturday in his major league debut.
Magill outpitched Brewers starter Wily Peralta, yet Peralta got the win after Paco Rodriguez and Matt Guerrier combined to give up two runs in seventh. It was a bad break for the 23-year-old, but he made a case for sticking around and making another start. Since they have Chris Capuano on the way back, the Dodgers may prefer to send the 23-year-old down and call up a fresh arm for the pen.

Sat Apr 27 201316:27Dodgers recall Magill from Triple-A level
Dodgers recalled RHP Matthew Magill from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Magill has posted a 2.84 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 23/14 K/BB ratio in 19 innings this season at Triple-A. He has decent stuff, but the 23-year-old probably doesn't possess good enough command to make a positive fantasy impact.
