Mon Mar 31 2014 | 22:51 | Al Jefferson double-doubles vs. Wizards |
Al Jefferson double-doubled during Monday's 100-94 win over the Wizards with 19 points, 11 boards and two blocks in 40 minutes. |
He went to the locker room to get seven stitches above his eye, but didn't miss much time. Jefferson and the Bobcats are playing great ball right now and hold the seven seed in the Eastern Conference, which makes them a tough matchup for the Pacers who currently hold the second seed. As for Jefferson, he's had a wonderful season in his first year on Charlotte. |

Thu Mar 27 2014 | 11:00 | Al Jefferson's play leaving opponents in awe |
Al Jefferson recent strong play is even leaving his opponents in awe. |
Following Jefferson's 35 point, 15 board outburst during Wednesday's overtime win over the Nets, opponents heaped praise upon the big man. "No one on the planet can guard him," said Brooklyn forward Paul Pierce. "We tried to double him. Single, triple - there's nothing we could have done with him tonight. He was in that type of zone, and that's the way he's been playing." Big Al has stepped up his game as of late and is averaging 23.4 points, 11.0 boards, 3.0 assists, and 0.6 blocks over his past five games, so his fantasy owners should be joining his opponents in marveling over his recent play. |

Wed Mar 26 2014 | 21:54 | Al Jefferson destroys Nets with 35 & 15 |
Al Jefferson hit 15-of-27 shots for 35 points, 15 rebounds and zero blocks in Wednesday's overtime win. |
He abused Mason Plumlee tonight and Plumlee didn't have much to offer on either end of the court tonight, although a block or two would have been nice from Jefferson. He's in line to get some MVP votes, as he's been a beast ever since he became fully healthy a month into the season. The Bobcats have won 10 of their last 12 games at home and currently sit as the No. 7 seed in the East. |

Al Jefferson scored 20 points with seven boards, two assists, two blocks and two steals in 37 minutes during Sunday's 101-92 win over the Bucks. |

Since the All-Star break, Jefferson has 162 makes from inside the arc in his 14 games which is leads the NBA -- Carmelo Anthony has 121 in his 15 games. Jefferson is absolutely rolling right now and scored at least 20 points in nine of his last 10 games. |

Al Jefferson was up to his usual tricks against the Wolves on Friday during a 105-93 win, scoring 25 points with 16 boards, one assist and one block in 38 minutes. |
A 25 and 16 line is usually exciting news for most players, but not for Big Al. In his previous seven games this month, Jefferson averaged 27.7 points, 10.1 boards, 2.1 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.1 steals on 61.5 percent from the field. He's carrying a lot of his fantasy owners right now. |

Mon Mar 3 2014 | 22:13 | Jefferson goes for 38 and 19 in loss to Heat |
Al Jefferson destroyed the non-existent interior defense of the Heat on Monday, scoring 38 points on 18-of-24 shooting with 19 rebounds and a steal. |
Jefferson took Steven Adams to school on Sunday and the Heat don't have anybody outside of the Birdman that can remotely slow the big fella down. Jefferson is just a top 35-50 value (9/8 cat) on the season because of his early ankle issues, but he is a top 24-36 play on a per-game basis this year. |

Sat Feb 22 2014 | 22:06 | Al Jefferson disappears against Marc Gasol |
Al Jefferson finally cooled off on Saturday, in a big way, hitting just 2-of-13 shots for six points and nine rebounds in 31 minutes. |
Jefferson has been as hot as any center in the league for almost two months now, so he was due for an off game. He's healthy and played solid minutes, so he should bounce back in the next one. Hopefully you didn't start him in a daily money league tonight, although it wasn't easy to see this one coming after he went off for 33 points, 10 boards and two blocks a night earlier. |

Fri Feb 21 2014 | 22:56 | Jefferson takes advantage of thin NO defense |
Al Jefferson feasted on Alexis Ajinca's overmatched defense in Friday's 90-87 win over the Pelicans, scoring 33 points on 14-of-30 shooting with 10 rebounds and two blocks. |
If Big Al didn't do this against Ajinca we'd have been surprised. Kemba Walker went for 13 and eight with five rebounds, Gerald Henderson scored just seven points, and Josh McRoberts had three blocks but added just six points and five boards in the win. |

He's been on another level over his previous 10, averaging 27.0 points, 12.9 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals on 53.4 percent from the field. The Bobcats aren't playing they type of defense they were playing back in December, but they are force-feeding Jefferson inside for some offense. He's an elite big man in fantasy leagues. |

Jefferson hit 12-of-22 shots, but also failed to block a shot and hit just 6-of-10 free throws. And we think we speak for most of his owners when we say 'who cares?' Jefferson is possibly having his best season, which isn't hard to believe considering he's the best player on his team and is unchallenged for his job. |

The Bobcats were flat tonight and were absolutely demolished on defense. Jefferson was on fire over his previous 10, averaging 28.9 points, 12.6 boards, 1.1 steals and 1.2 blocks, so there is nothing to worry about at all. Look for Al to get it going again on Tuesday night at Golden State. |

Sat Feb 1 2014 | 01:47 | Big Al eviscerates the Lakers with 40 & 18 |
Al Jefferson eviscerated the Lakers in Friday's win, tying a career-high with 40 points on 18-of-32 shooting, 18 rebounds, four assists and three steals. |
Poor Robert Sacre might be seeing Big Al in his nightmares tonight, and it was sort of unfair watching the big man toy with an obviously overmatched Lakers defense. Jefferson has been a top 5-10 play since Kemba Walker (ankle) left the lineup and he's been a top 10-20 play over the last month. As long as he can stay this healthy he should be able to return similar value, but that's the bugaboo with him. Not one to miss games, he often gets dinged up and loses the explosion he's currently showing. |

Fri Jan 31 2014 | 22:29 | Jefferson (shoulder) a go on Friday vs. LAL |
Al Jefferson (shoulder) is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Lakers. |
We've heard nothing about the injury since it happened in Wednesday's game and owners can go ahead and use him how they normally would, especially since he's been thoroughly enjoying the absence of Kemba Walker. |
