Sun Nov 6 201116:13NBPA to discuss all options on Monday call
Matt Bonner, a member of the NBPA executive committee, said that the NBPA will discuss its next move on a Monday conference call following Saturday night's ultimatum from the owners.
The call will likely be centered around what the players plan to do following yet another marathon negotiating session. Commissioner David Stern has already said that the owners' current offer will only be on the table until Wednesday, and it will certainly be interesting to hear what the union plans to do next considering President Derek Fisher seemed absolutely deflated following the most recent round of talks.

Sat Apr 23 201122:35Bonner, Blair could see increased role
Matt Bonner had five points and five rebounds in 22 minutes, while DeJuan Blair added just four points and one board in Saturday's loss, but both could see more minutes after Antonio McDyess suffered a shoulder injury tonight.
Bonner will shoot some threes if he ends up in the starting lineup, while Blair could see 25 minutes in the next one, if McDyess' shoulder is separated, or will keep him out of the next game.

Matt Bonner hit 2-of-4 shots - both 3-pointers - and all six of his free throws for 12 points and three rebounds in Sunday's loss to the Grizzlies.

Tue Mar 22 201103:57Bonner goes 2-of-9 from 3-point territory
Matt Bonner hit just 2-of-9 shots from the field (all threes) on Monday, scoring six points with five rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes off the bench.
He started the second half when Tim Duncan, who will likely miss most of the regular season, went down with an ankle injury in the first half. Bonner has the ability to step in and provide some of the offense that Duncan leaves on the table, and while he's not near a must-add player, he's somebody to watch and possibly take a flier on if you need threes.

Tue Mar 15 201112:45Bonner benched in second half
Matt Bonner was benched for the entire second half of Monday's loss to the Heat.
Coach Gregg Popovich was upset with Bonner for a couple defensive lapses in the first half. It's a reminder that even though the Red Rocket makes 1.7 treys per game, he isn't worth using in fantasy

Sat Mar 5 201101:14Bonner scores 18 points in blowout
Matt Bonner hit 6-of-7 shots (all threes) in Friday's blowout win over the Heat, scoring 18 points with five rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 24 minutes off the bench.
Bonner's love of sandwiches is well known, but we wouldn't trade a sandwich for him in any format. He does this once every three weeks or so, and there's really nothing to see here from a fantasy perspective.

Matt Bonner (knee) returned to action on Tuesday, scoring 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting (including two threes) with two rebounds, one assist, and one block in 14 minutes.
This is actually a good outing for him considering the layoff, but he has no real value, even in deeper leagues.
Tue Feb 8 201112:15Bonner probable on Tuesday
Matt Bonner (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.
Bonner has missed 10 straight games. He'll return to take even more pressure off Tim Duncan and Antonio McDyess, who are on a mission to save their legs for the playoffs. Bonner, who is averaging 1.8 treys per game on the year, will have low-end specialist value for deep leaguers once up to speed.

Matt Bonner (knee) will not play on Tuesday against the Blazers.
"It's similar to a bone bruise," Bonner said. "It's hard to put a timetable" on his return, and owners shouldn't be waiting around one way or another. As reported earlier, Nicolas Batum (ankle) is confirmed to play and start for the Blazers, as well.

Mon Jan 31 201109:28Bonner still out w/ knee injury
Spurs big man Matt Bonner (sore right knee) will travel with the team as they begin their annual 'rodeo trip', but he is doubtful for Tuesday's game at Portland.
Bonner is day-to-day and fantasy owners should already be ignoring him outside of the deepest leagues.
Sun Jan 30 201119:08Bonner travels with team but doubtful to play
Matt Bonner (knee) is currently traveling with the team but is listed as doubtful to play in Tuesday's game against portland.
It's a good sign that he's getting closer but the Spurs have no reason to rush him back. Don't be surprised if he's still a few games away from re-entering the rotation.

Sat Jan 29 201112:38Matt Bonner out again Saturday
Matt Bonner (sore right knee) will miss his seventh straight game on Saturday.
Bonner has a buildup of bone marrow in his knee and will rest until the condition improves. San Antonio is rolling along with the league's best record and they certainly won't rush their veteran big man back into action.

Mon Jan 24 201114:05Matt Bonner (knee) ruled out Monday night
Matt Bonner (knee) "worked up a sweat at shootaround," but has been ruled out of San Antonio's game on Monday night.
The Spurs are coming off a blowout loss to the Hornets, but they still own the league's best record (37-7) and have no incentive to risk aggravating Bonner's injury. He may return vs. Utah on Wednesday.

Sat Jan 22 201119:45Bonner (knee) out on Saturday vs. Hornets
Matt Bonner (knee) did not play on Saturday against the Hornets.
He has minimal fantasy value even when he is playing well, so this news shouldn't affect too many fantasy leagues.

Spurs big man Matt Bonner has been ruled out on Friday due to a bone bruise on his right knee.
Bonner has missed three straight games and remains day-to-day. His absence weakens the Spurs' outside shooting and frontcourt depth, but has minimal fantasy impact.
