Thu Dec 15 202215:24Kyle Lowry Out On Thursday
Miami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry (rest) won't be in the lineup Thursday versus the Rockets. The veteran floor general is getting rested as the team finishes off a back-to-back set. Lowry actually played only 29 minutes in Wednesday's win over Oklahoma City, but he's been super busy across the whole season, and if anyone deserves some time off, then it's him. With the Heat continuing to carry a number of hurt bodies, there aren't a lot of options available for the team and everybody who manages to take the court will need to do a bit of extra. The backcourt will rely heavily on Tyler Herro and Max Strus.

Thu Dec 8 202214:39Kyle Lowry Rested On Thursday
Miami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry (rest) will miss his first game of the season Thursday versus the Clippers. The veteran floor general was the only player left on the team who hadn't sat out any action so far, but Miami is now giving him a day to rest. Lowry was also carrying a questionable tag earlier in the week due to a left ankle problem, so it looks like he's a bit banged up as well. With Gabe Vincent (knee) also ruled out for the contest, Dru Smith will be the team's only true point guard Thursday. However, he's not really someone fantasy managers should target, as Smith has seen very little action during his rookie campaign and hasn't done much in the minutes he has received.

Tue Dec 6 202216:17Kyle Lowry Uncertain To Play On Tuesday
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (ankle) has been tagged as questionable with ankle discomfort. Miami has a laundry list of injuries right now with 11 players appearing on the injury report ahead of their Tuesday contest against the Detroit Pistons. Lowry has appeared on the report a few times but has yet to miss a game so far this season. If he can't suit up, since Jimmy Butler is also out, Tyler Herro will likely see a ton of usage in the starting five. Then, some streaming options would include Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, and Duncan Robinson.

Sat Nov 19 202208:49Kyle Lowry Bags A Triple-Double Friday
Miami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry ran the show in Friday's 107-106 overtime loss to Washington, posting a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists. He also had a steal and two blocks with three turnovers, while shooting 8-for-23 from the field and 4-for-11 from behind the arc. Miami was extremely shorthanded for the contest and ran a seven-man rotation, so Lowry ended up logging a massive 51 minutes in the game. It's safe to assume that the 36-year-old will now get a very light workload during the back-to-back set which starts Sunday against Cleveland. Lowry isn't an elite point guard anymore, but he's having a respectable season, averaging 14.2 points per game with 4.8 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.1 steals. He was also close to a triple-double a week ago against Charlotte, so the veteran is still full of quality.

Mon Jun 6 202221:48Pat Riley: Kyle Lowry "Can Be In Better Shape"
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry had one of his worst years in recent memory. He averaged only 13.4 points, significantly less than he had in 2020-21 during his final season in Toronto, and he also missed time due to personal issues and injuries. Speaking at the end-of-season news conference, President Pat Riley believes the team currently assembled can win moving ahead. However, when discussing improvements that some of the players on the roster can make, he didn't hold back, indicating his desire to see Lowry "be in better shape next year." Nonetheless, fantasy managers will likely hesitate before picking him up during fantasy drafts. Yet, the upside may still be there for the 36-year-old, so he's worth considering toward the middle-to-later rounds.

Sun May 29 202220:19Kyle Lowry Cleared For Matchup With Boston On Sunday
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) is good to go for Sunday's pivotal matchup against Boston. The veteran has missed time throughout much of the postseason because of a strained left hamstring. He's also struggled on the offensive end. However, Lowry had arguably his best showing of the playoffs during Friday's win, finishing with a double-double. While it's certainly not guaranteed he'll have a similar performance in Game 7, he at least demonstrated the ailment isn't bothering him like it was.

Sat May 28 202220:30Kyle Lowry Questionable For Sunday Night
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's series finale against the Boston Celtics. Lowry has missed plenty of time throughout the postseason and has also struggled offensively. However, he arguably had his best game of the playoffs during the win on Friday night, finishing with a double-double via 18 points and 10 assists while adding four boards, one steal, and one block. While Lowry's sufficient performance in Game 6 was a step in the right direction, he still has a way to go before convincing DFS managers he's worthy of a roster spot. Yet, for those looking to roll the dice in larger GPP formats, Lowry's upside remains higher than most.

Sat May 28 202210:41Kyle Lowry Posts Double-Double In Win
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry turned it around during Friday's Game 6 against the Boston Celtics. He came into this game with 14 points over his last three games. However, he dropped 18 points, 10 assists, and four rebounds in the victory. Lowry has been banged up throughout the playoffs, but managed to play 37 minutes on Friday. Fantasy managers should expect Lowry to be ready to go for Sunday's Game 7 contest.

Fri May 27 202219:45Kyle Lowry Will Play In Game 6
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) will play on Friday night for the pivotal postseason meeting with the Boston Celtics. Despite the veteran's availability over the last few games, he hasn't received his usual minute's allowance while also struggling offensively, so it's quite apparent his ailing left hamstring is still bothering him. Gabe Vincent, who had been starting for Lowry while he was out, had 15 points in 23 minutes off the bench during Game 6 on Wednesday. DFS managers should keep Vincent in mind, primarily since he could also get some extra opportunities on the scoring end with Tyler Herro (groin) declared out.

Thu May 26 202220:55Kyle Lowry Questionable Again For Game 6
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) is questionable ahead of Friday's postseason meeting with the Boston Celtics. The veteran continues to be bothered by a left hamstring strain but has managed to suit up over the previous three games. However, Lowry hasn't played the best, recently going 0-for-6 for no points in Game 5. Yet, Gabe Vincent (hamstring) had 15 points off the bench in that one, so he may get even more work in Game 6, especially since Lowry isn't 100%.

Thu May 26 202200:41Kyle Lowry Fails To Score In Game 5
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) had another dreadful playoff performance during Wednesday's loss to Boston. It's obvious the veteran is still limited by his infamous strained left hamstring, as he finished without scoring a single basket. Lowry has struggled throughout this series, so it's unlikely he'll make a difference for DFS managers anytime soon. However, Gabe Vincent, who had 15 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the field, should still be considered a viable DFS value option, despite moving back to the bench after filling in for Lowry while he was out.

Tue May 24 202221:31Kyle Lowry Questionable For Game 5
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) is questionable heading into Wednesday's playoff battle against Boston. The veteran has been hit hard by a left hamstring issue, causing him to miss most of the postseason. While Lowry will likely play, he only logged 21 minutes in Game 4, finishing with a miserable three points on a rough 1-for-6 shooting, so his production could be limited. As a result, Gabe Vincent should continue to get DFS consideration, although he's had a tough time making a basket lately.

Mon May 23 202220:25Kyle Lowry Available For Game 4
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) is available on Monday night versus Boston. The 36-year-old missed plenty of time recently because of a nagging hamstring ailment. Unquestionably, the injury has impacted Lowry's play, with the veteran averaging only seven points during the playoffs. For obvious reasons, he hasn't looked like his usual self, so DFS managers should think twice before putting him in any lineup ahead of Game 4.

Sun May 22 202219:08Kyle Lowry Still Dealing With Bum Hamstring
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) is back on the injury report leading up to Monday's postseason meeting versus Boston. Unsurprisingly, Lowry is questionable because of a nagging left hamstring strain, the same one he's been dealing with since suffering the ailment during the series with Atlanta. Nonetheless, based on how the veteran looked in Game 3 on Saturday night, there's a chance he may miss another one. If that's the case, Gabe Vincent will probably slide back into the starting rotation.

Sat May 21 202211:09Kyle Lowry Questionable For Game 3
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Saturday's Game 3 against the Boston Celtics. He has missed the last four games and eight total games during the postseason. However, the questionable tag is actually a good sign that Lowry might be getting closer to a return. His return would mean Gabe Vincent heads back to the bench and loses fantasy value. Fantasy managers will have to check back closer to tip-off for another update.

Wed May 18 202220:45Kyle Lowry Will Miss Game 2 On Thursday
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) has been ruled out for Thursday's Game 2 matchup against the Boston Celtics. He went through some light shooting on Wednesday, but will still miss his fourth game in a row. This marks Lowry's eighth game he has missed during the postseason. Gabe Vincent (hamstring) is considered questionable for Thursday's contest. That being said, Victor Oladipo, Caleb Martin, and Tyler Herro could see increased action, assuming both players are forced to sit out.

Mon May 16 202221:28Kyle Lowry Remains Out On Tuesday Night
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) won't play during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus Boston. The veteran injured his left hamstring during Game 3 of the series with the Atlanta Hawks and has played just twice since. Considering the nature of the ailment, it would be quite the surprise if he can return at all during this series. Nonetheless, Gabe Vincent (hamstring), who has averaged 7.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 rebounds, will likely continue to start in his place. Vincent is dealing with a hamstring issue of his own. However, he should be good to go.

Wed May 11 202218:21Kyle Lowry Won't Play In Game 6
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) won't play on Thursday night against the 76ers. The veteran strained his left hamstring during the previous series against the Atlanta Hawks before returning for Games 3 and 4 versus Philly. However, it's evident the 36-year-old came back too early, with his status for the remainder of the postseason up in the air moving ahead. Nonetheless, Gabe Vincent is expected to take Lowry's place in the lineup once again. Vincent scored 15 points on Tuesday night, although he hasn't been a reliable replacement throughout the playoffs. Instead, DFS managers should target guys like Max Strus and Victor Oladipo for cap relief.

Tue May 10 202218:24Kyle Lowry Unavailable For Game 5
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers. This shouldn't come as a shock considering Lowry re-aggravated his hamstring in Game 4. The Heat will play it safe and have Lowry sidelined for this contest. That might actually benefit the Heat since Lowry has been horrible lately. Gabe Vincent and Victor Oladipo should split up the playing time. Both players will make for intriguing DFS options on Tuesday. Oladipo has slightly more upside because of his scoring ability.

Mon May 9 202218:56Kyle Lowry, Dewayne Dedmon Earn Questionable Tags For Tuesday
Miami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry (hamstring) and center Dewayne Dedmon (illness) have been listed as questionable to suit up for Tuesday's contest vs. Philadelphia. Lowry has battled through a hamstring strain to start Games 3 and 4 of the series, but he has shot a combined 3-for-14 in that stretch, including going 0-for-8 from deep. Dedmon missed Sunday's outing due to an illness, which allowed the team to utilize smaller lineups. A backcourt absence from Lowry would funnel more fantasy intrigue toward Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro (ankle), and Gabe Vincent, while Bam Adebayo could see a handful of additional minutes if Dedmon is ultimately held out again.
