Sat Dec 8 201200:51Landry plays just 19 minutes vs. Nets
Carl Landry scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting with six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 19 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Nets.
Landry is still holding late round value on the season, but over the past two weeks he has produced at a 14-16 team level as Mark Jackson has gone away from him. Our sense is that owners should be patient with the hopes that he can return to the mid-round value he had early in the year, but he's not a must-own player until he can turn things around.

Fri Nov 30 201201:24Carl Landry plays 30 minutes, scores six
Carl Landry played 30 minutes off the bench on Thursday and had six points, eight boards, two assists and one steal against the Nuggets.
Landry was coming in relatively hot by scoring 18.5 points per game in his last two games. However, he struggled from the field by shooting 2-of-7 tonight. He should be worth owning in most formats for his production in points, boards and percentages.

Wed Nov 28 201215:21Carl Landry returns to practice Wednesday
Carl Landry was back at practice Wednesday after sitting out Monday's session following oral surgery.
Richard Jefferson (calf) and Andrew Bogut (ankle) continue to miss practice, but Landry's return means the backup big man should be good to go when the Warriors return to action Thursday against the Nuggets. He remains a reliable source of points, rebounds and good percentages so feel free to deploy him if you're lacking in those areas.

Mon Nov 26 201215:26Landry sits out practice after oral surgery
Carl Landry did not practice on Monday after undergoing oral surgery.
The Warriors don't play again until Thursday, so presumably the backup big man will be ready to go vs. the Nuggets.

Sun Nov 25 201201:39Carl Landry posts 18 & 9 in Warriors' win
Carl Landry finished Saturday's victory with 18 points and nine rebounds, but he failed to record any assists, steals or blocks.
This is nothing new for Landry. Neither is his tremulous post defense, which teams routinely attack ("like putting raw meat in front of a lion," according to one colorful announcer). If you can use points, rebounds and solid percentages, he's your guy.

Sat Nov 24 201201:32Carl Landry goes for 19 & 8 in loss
Carl Landry had 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block on 6-of-11 shooting in Friday's loss.
Landry has been a bit up and down off the bench, but looked great tonight, despite another David Lee double-double. Landry was helped by the fact Harrison Barnes struggled with foul trouble tonight, and remains a player worth holding in almost all leagues, despite the inconsistency.

Thu Nov 22 201201:47Landry scores 11 points with five boards
Carl Landry scored 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting with five rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes on Wednesday against the Nets.
Landry was held to 15 minutes on Monday, and while this outing isn't what owners were hoping for it's a good baseline for owners to expect. He should produce more on nights when he's hot, but shouldn't go too far below this mark as long as Mark Jackson isn't screwing with his minutes.

Tue Nov 20 201202:33Landry held to 15 minutes vs. the Mavs
Carl Landry was held to 15 minutes against the Mavs on Monday, scoring seven points on 3-of-8 shooting with four rebounds.
Landry has seen this happen a few times this year but he has bounced back each time. It also doesn't hurt that the Bay Area media griped about Mark Jackson's decision to go away from Landry, as we're not the only ones saying he needs consistent playing time.

Sat Nov 17 201201:58Landry goes for 15 and 7 with two blocks
Carl Landry scored 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds and two blocks in 29 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Landry is a mid-to-late round value right now and with Andrew Bogut's (ankle) future a total question mark, he should be owned in all formats.

Sun Nov 11 201201:57Carl Landry bounces back w/ 22 points
Carl Landry bounced back from a six-point effort on Friday, finishing Saturday's tough loss with 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists and one block.
Landry made 9-of-14 FGs while playing 36 minutes in the double-overtime heartbreaker. As usual, he's a worthwhile source of high-percentage points and rebounds, but steals and blocks are an unexpected bonus.

Sat Nov 10 201206:06Landry scores six points with 11 boards
Carl Landry scored six points on 3-of-12 shooting with 11 rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes off the bench in Friday's blowout loss.
Landry didn't play well but things could have been worse running into the Lakers' buzz-saw. Even with tonight's stinker in hand, he is posting solid late round value for 12-team leagues and Andrew Bogut's situation is enough to make him a must-own player in those formats.

Thu Nov 8 201202:30Carl Landry posts 19 & 9 off bench
Carl Landry had 19 points, nine rebounds and a block on 8-of-10 shooting in 26 minutes off the bench on Wednesday.
As long as Andrew Bogut is struggling to stay on the court, Landry is worth a look in most leagues. He's averaging 17 points and seven boards through five games, and we'd rather own him than Bogut at this point. Just beware he is not a shot blocker. It also doesn't hurt that the Warriors are going to give him additional minutes at small forward with Brandon Rush lost for the season.

Wed Nov 7 201216:05Carl Landry might play SF in "big" lineup
Mark Jackson is entertaining the idea of playing Carl Landry at SF in a "big" lineup with Andrew Bogut and David Lee.
Landry has struggled to find consistent minutes in a crowded Warriors frontcourt, but time at SF would make Landry an intriguing option for fantasy owners. Not only could Landry seem more playing time, but the move would give him position flexibility. Keep an eye on how Jackson deploys Landry in the next week or so.

Tue Nov 6 201204:55Landry benched by Mark Jackson late
Carl Landry played just under 20 minutes on Monday against the Kings, scoring six points on 2-of-4 shooting with six rebounds.
Mark Jackson went to David Lee for 41 minutes tonight, much to the chagrin of plugged in Golden State beat writers that have grown tiresome of the layups Lee allows. Landry came into the game on fire, too, which is just the most recent example of Jackson's 'coaching' as the Warriors lost to the Kings, who were awful tonight. Landry could be subject to this type of thing all year, but we'd give him another game before dropping him.

Sat Nov 3 201206:38Landry scores 20 points off the bench vs. MEM
Carl Landry scored 20 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 5-of-10 shots (10-of-12 from the foul line) with six rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 24 minutes.
Andrew Bogut is still a mess with his ankle, and Landry has played so well that media are calling for him to play down the stretch of games over David Lee at times. There are holes in Landry's fantasy game, but there is certainly enough meat to the bone right now to make an add. It doesn't hurt that Brandon Rush's injury opened up minutes across the rotation, too.

Thu Nov 1 201202:27Carl Landry catches fire for Warriors
Carl Landry had a big second half and finished with 17 points and six rebounds on 7-of-9 shooting to help the Warriors beat the Suns in Wednesday's opener.
Landry had a solid preseason and carried it over into tonight's real game. David Lee spent a lot of time at center tonight, allowing Landry to step up, but it still feels like a stretch to think that Landry can continue to produce at this level once Andrew Bogut is up to full speed.

Wed Oct 24 201201:26Carl Landry had 13 points and three rebounds in 23 minutes again...
Carl Landry had 13 points and three rebounds in 23 minutes against the Suns on Tuesday.
Landry is shooting a sterling 57 percent from the field this preseason and should help the Warriors with scoring off the bench. He should help in percentages, but the lack of shot blocking lowers his upside as a sleeper in drafts.

Tue Oct 23 201205:06Landry plays 16 minutes vs. Clippers
Carl Landry cooled off in Monday's preseason loss to the Clippers, playing just 16 minutes on his way to three points, five rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
Landry did a quick flyby on the fantasy radar, and though we're not going to be overly critical of anybody's preseason outings for the most part, part of his appeal in standard formats was that he was productive in his bench role during the exhibition season. Chances are he'll start the year on the wire in normal-sized leagues.

Sat Oct 20 201204:19Landry takes advantage of Blazers bench
Carl Landry took advantage of the Blazers bench on Friday, scoring 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting with six rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes.
With Festus Ezeli getting into foul trouble, Andrew Bogut being out, and the Blazers having one of the league's worst benches, Landry was able to feast tonight. It's hard to get excited to draft a reserve on a deep team based on preseason numbers, but since Landry has been playing well he's officially worth a look.

Thu Oct 18 201201:57Carl Landry looks good in Wednesday game
Carl Landry had a solid bench effort on Wednesday with 12 points, nine boards, two steals and one block in 37 minutes.
Landry has been able to muster up some fantasy value off the bench by providing impressive help percentages. We don't think he's going to be drafted in most leagues, so we'd feel comfortable to wait and try to pick him up should he start out hot with his new team.
